We randomly searched for Asian fusion on yelp and this place popped up, so the family went for it. It is on the side of a bowling alley (bonus), and a lot of parking outside. Casual dining situation, friendly employees, clean. Could use maybe a little low-key music vibes but that's fine. Family rated food: 1. Boba Burger - 5 stars Best burger I've had. 2. Hawaiian burger - 5 stars. He would give it a higher score if he could. Great burger. Best burger he's ever had. This is on par with BRU burgers in south bend Indiana. 3. Chicken tenders (kid vote) 5 stars. Thin and crispy and well-seasoned. 4. Boba dog (kid vote) - 4.5 stars from the kid. Not a pickle kid so I'm sure it was a great dog. 5. Fries (kid vote) - 5 stars. She didn't even use ketchup. So... :) Definitely come here again. They even made us a Thai boba to try. Not our jam, but soooo coming back here again.

Really neat place- it's located inside a bowling alley so pretty nice to see better food options than just ur classic pizza wings etc. The Seoul burger had bacon egg cheese n a huge patty so def very filling and the kimchi helped to cut down some of the grease. Get Rdy to get ur hands wet lol but really solid. Banhmi was really good as well - we tried the crispy pork and it's so goood ! Super crispy and crunchy! I just wished they had jalapeños lol Otherwise fries were really good and cooked in the fat so perfect :) Drinks were alright - I liked the viet coffee more than the cantaloupe bc it has better flavor and stronger profile. Would def come back to try again and support a local business !

I'd read a lot about this restaurant, but there just never seemed to be a time when it was nearby and convenient. So one day we carved out some time, and went directly there. The burgers are truly as good as all the reviews say. I had the bbq lechon burger, and the lechon was tender and juicy, not dry and chewy like some other places I've had it. Delicious! Another highlight was my drink, the mango boba, with mango jellies added (like gummies) - yum! My husband had the Boba burger, and while he didn't brave about it as much as I did the lechon, he also said it was very good. And he had the strawberry Boba with the strawberry beads added it in. Some of you have asked about alcoholic drinks, and while they don't sell them there, I asked the owner and he confirmed that you can buy them at the lounge in the bowling alley and carry them in. That's not a problem for anyone who would like a cocktail with their meal. It was overall a very positive experience. We arrived when there was hardly anyone else there, no line, and by the time we left an hour later it was busy but not packed. We really liked it, and will definitely be back. Please help support it. It's a gem that needs to be there for a long time.

These burgers were unbelievable! Didn't think such good grub would be available within a bowling alley. We didn't even bowl! So happy we stopped.

We drove quite a while to get here, but I will say, it was worth it. It's a small place & everything is made to order! So, if you're in a rush, then you may wanna go when you have enough time to sit & wait. We got some chilli & cheese fries, two burgers, some hot dogs, and drinks! The fries were some of the best I've had. The flavor was absolutely amazing & the cheese wasn't like that "nacho cheese" taste. The burgers were something I've never had before & it was definitely filling. It had a good flavor to it & the kimchi on mine wasn't over powering. I loved the runny egg on the Seoul burger as well. My absolute favorite thing was the Tokyo dog. I didn't realize the wiener itself was fried, and that took it to the next level. The fresh & crisp taste of the veggies, with the fried frank was sooo good. As for the drinks, the honey dew drink I had was delicious. Almost tasted like an agua Fresca! Overall, this place was definitely worth the drive. I'd definitely go back again & try more off their menu

Connected to a very lively bowling alley, Boba Burger is a bit of a hidden gem. Very simple, no nonsense. You get a burger. You get boba. Both will be delicious. The jalapeño poppers were actually a surprise hit. Most places tend to core out a jalapeño, but Boba Burger makes a super smooth and slightly spicy blend of cheese and chopped jalapeño. Unique and very yummy. I got the bbq lechon and this burger will knock you straight into a food coma. Worth coming out here for another burger, and maybe a round of bowling.

Super Hidden Gem worth trying! We originally saw this on YouTuber Mikey Chen's video about Hidden Gems in Chicago Area. We were just out driving and saw the sign so we had to seize the opportunity to try it and we weren't disappointed! Parking isn't an issue. They share the lot with Classic Bowl since they're connected to it so they got a decent sized lot. You have to enter through the bowling alley to get into the restaurant. The bowling alley was nice and clean and so was the restaurant. Nothing too fancy but mega clean with a decent amount of seating. You can eat in or take it to go, that's up to you. Customer service was pretty good. Staff was polite and patient with us. You can tell they take their craft seriously. The staff also felt that they were a family which was nice. No issues on customer service at all. Food was delicious! We shared the Hawaiian Burger and some fries to go and we were super satisfied! Fries were delicious and just the right amount of saltiness! The Hawaiian burger was delicious and I think it matched the price. It doesn't look too big but the patty was thick and juicy. The spam complimented it just right. Between the two of us that burger filled us up. I'm not from here but I definitely see myself coming back next time. My boyfriend lives out here and he says he'll be back again! You guys should give them a try!

Some really good food. Burger was juicy and crispy. Bahn mi had tons of flavor. My super melon boba drink was perfect. Not too sweet. Fresh too. It was separating after a while so it didn't have weird unnatural stuff in it. It's in a bowling alley so you can do that too if you like. Just good food.

Been coming here for years! Glad to see they're still open. Food is always bomb, my favorite is the chicken banh mi & the watermelon slushy is so refreshing. I usually don't even come for the bowling, just the boba

Outrageous burgers, boba and bowling? Sign me up! It's been a few years since I stopped in to Boba Burger, the restaurant inside Classic Bowl, the 1970s bowling alley. Seeing Yelp's "11 most outrageous Burgers" in the U.S., with the BBQ Lechon Burger named no. 9, made me curious so I drove to Morton Grove for lunch. Boba Burger is in the front of the bowling alley, but even so, I was confused because of the Waukegan/Caldwell street merge directly in front of Classic Bowl. I may have even made a somewhat unorthodox turn into the parking lot. There is ample parking. Enter Classic Bowl and then enter Boba Burger on the left. Unassuming, small, somewhat retro-looking -- hey, I got no Beef with that. I was flipping excited. I ordered the Seoul burger, 6 oz beef patty, cheese, kimchi, kalbi-glazed bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomato-- as well as some Boba hand-cut fries. Also, I added an avocado smoothie with boba. Shall I recap? Lettuce dive in! A juicy delicious burger, reasonably priced, is a rare find! Did it meat my standards? I mustardmit it did! The burger was juicy, tasty with the addition of the kalbi bacon (nice and crispy), kimchi (more like a sauce), fried egg and nicely toasted bun. The only thing I did not relish was that the bun soon fell apart. They provided me with a knife and fork so I was able to finish the rest. Well done! The hand-cut fries were nicely browned, a little soft, but lightly salted and a generous portion. The avocado smoothie -- large, green, filled with soft and chewy boba -- let's face it -- it was not avocado this world, but it was tasty and good to try. I will try the BBQ Lechon on another visit. There are other interesting options that sound good also. Do I think that Boba Burger deserves the attention? Grill, you better believe it! As I said, a juicy delicious burger, reasonably priced, is a rare find!

Burgers in a bowling alley sure why not? But these burgers are particularly stacked high with creative ingredients that work really well together. I had the BBQ lechon which had a delectable fried pork with skin and onion rings. Half a burger was good enough to satiate my hunger. Also had some of their fresh cut fries - which was well-done like I like it. Nicely seasoned and wonderful on its own without ketchup. The food was cooked to order so it's not super quick service and the dining room is no frills. The staff is great though as they recognize their regulars and their orders. I'd definitely be back, as the food is good and it's a great local business.

I cautiously entered the aging bowling alley to decide for myself if Boba Burger is as good as I've heard. After circling the parking lot to find a space during league play it better be. The menu is a big sign on the wall and there are a lot of interesting choices. The prices are good, too. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering the Seoul Burger. It was simply incredible. Kimchi, kalbi glazed bacon, fried egg. A perfect blend of flavors and textures, and no cutting corners on quality. So freaking good! The Thai iced tea is delicious, too. SECOND VISIT: It was so good I had to bring my fiance back with me. I guess that friendly guy at the counter owns the place with his brother. Good folks, I enjoy talking to them. She isn't as adventurous as me and ordered the more basic Boba Burger. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly seasoned, perfect sear. She was happy. This time I tried the BBQ Lechon Burger. It isn't as over-the-top as the Seoul Burger but it was still delicious. Lechon is roasted pork belly. Paired with the ground beef, barbecue sauce, and topped with an onion ring, this is another winner. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is really good. The egg rolls are above average, I had to fight her for that last one. Their fries are nicely crisped and well seasoned. Bottom line: Yes, they have earned their reputation and I plan on working my way through the whole menu.

Boba Burger is one of the best places in the burbs for a cheeseburger. It's honestly my favorite burger in the area. I usually get the regular Boba burger, but the BBQ Lechon burger is also amazing. Great bun, fresh, flavorful and juicy patty. I'm sad every time I finish it that I didn't get to savor it for longer. The rustic French fries are some of my favorite as well and they give you a ton. The hot dogs are great, and the Tokyo dog is a pretty cool concept for a hot dog. Definitely something I've never seen before - the tempura adds such a nice touch and the sriracha ketchup is so good. I also LOVE their fresh pickles. Both the beef and chicken Banh mi sandwiches are delicious and couldn't really decide which I like better.. I love both. Lastly, their salads are great. I love the Asian Chicken salad. The marinade on that chicken is something else. I always ask for double chicken because it's that good. The dressing is also the perfect amount of acid and sweet. It's one of my go-to's. You can't go wrong with anything here. The prices can't be beat and the owners are very friendly. You won't regret it!

Just a note but the further away you move from any major city the fewer and harder it is to find great Asian food. The suburb is lucky to have them. The pandemic brought new staffing. Some were pleasant with customers though one lady, a supervisor had the wrong ideas of what customer service and proper etiquette is. Just the basics of my final visit. I took my family for lunch. We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.
