I don't normally leave negative reviews, but this experience was unbelievable. Three of us came in for dinner and spent around $60. Two of my friends ordered their burgers with the bumper sauce on the side. When our food came out, there was only one cup of sauce for both burgers. My friend politely went up to the counter and explained that both burgers were supposed to have the sauce on the side. That's when Garrett, who identified himself as the manager, turned what should have been a 10-second fix into an unnecessary confrontation. The most unbelievable part was watching another employee try to make things right by handing us a full cup of sauce, only for Garrett to take it away, pour some of it out, and hand us back a half-filled cup just to prove a point. I've honestly never seen a manager act that petty over something so insignificant. Seriously...what kind of business sense does that make? Three customers spend $60, and you're willing to lose them over sauce that costs less than a dollar? Instead of taking care of customers and supporting his employee, Garrett chose to argue over a condiment. This wasn't about trying to get something for free. We were simply asking for what was ordered. A good manager understands that customer service is what keeps people coming back. Unfortunately, Garrett showed the exact opposite. The food itself was good, but customer service can make or break a restaurant. Because of how Garrett handled such a simple issue, we won't be back, and I certainly can't recommend this place to anyone looking to be treated with respect. read more

They are on the eastern end of the strip here so they have a drive through, which is super handy. Prices are high. It's a small business, and they make orders on the spot instead of making burgers ahead and leaving them in a warming tray, so that's ok to some extent but not a place where I would be able to go very often. The fries weren't good. They weren't at all crispy; they seemed like fries that had been sitting around for a bit. They were that kind of wrinkly that fries get after a few minutes, if you know what I mean, and limp. Disappointing and nearly inedible; I only ate maybe half. They were amongst the worst fries I've ever had, but maybe this is the one bit of their menu they don't make to order and if I'd had them fresh it would be good. Because they make their food to order, it takes a bit for your food to be ready. I think it took about 10 minutes, and if there had been anyone behind me I think they have a couple of spaces in the front of the restaurant to wait. read more

Saw the cool Star Trek font lettering and had to stop in. I was greeted when I walked in. They have an ordering kiosk but the guy behind the counter said he would take my order. I told him, I'm cool with ordering from the kiosk. I ordered a Bumper dog, Bumper burger and the Boosted Bumper Fries that has their fresh cut fries, Bumper sauce, cheese sauce, caramelized onion and diced jalapeño. I received my food and everything came in their branded boxes. They have the most comfy chairs. I started with the Bumper Burger which is a thin smash patty that came with Bumper Sauce (it reminds me of Big Mac sauce), lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It was the on a soft bun. All the flavors were okay, kind of on the small side. The Bumper Dog was a Chicago style hot dog. All the toppings were on the bottom with a split grilled dog. I ended up flipping the pickle on dog to eat it. To me the split dog was kind of lost. The Boosted Bumper Fries were a big hit. They made sure that you got all off the topping until you got to the bottom of the box. I found myself shoveling them in my mouth. It's messy and definitely a 20 napkin meal. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. They were disgusting with the food. We asked for no pickles in the sandwhich and we got it with pickles so we asked him to remove it and he opened the burger with his BARE HANDS and took them off. This is a terrible, awful, disgusting, and disgraceful resteraunt that should be closed down immediently. This location was really hot in the inside, it could have been around 76-78 degrees inside. The place was largely clean and well kept outside of heat. The food wasn't great, being too charred/burnt, and reallllly greasy. It did not sit well because of how greasy it was. It's the kind of food you eat and immediately want to fall asleep afterwards because it's so heavy. Flavor was also really subpar. A new place we want to try. The place is nice and clean. The person who took our order is pleasant. We were not that hungry so we ordered the $5 burger and fries. Listen, their food is pretty good. But do not do their drive-through. It took me 20 minutes to get my food with the drive-through and they do not greet you and take forever to follow up. I told them and they just apologized- I understand the food may take a minute to cook because it's fresh, but their service is horrible. That's why I gave them that rating. read more

Finally!!! An amazing halal burger place in town. Everything I have had so far has been excellent. They use great quality meats. These guys know what they are doing! Their service inside the restaurant was good. The lady in the window was exceptionally nice. Gave food with a big smile. This is a very small burger place that has other options as well. It was hot inside and the seating was a little cramped. I didn't expect much for the service and did get much of it either, as we had to wait a good minute for our food. Cheesy Chopped Bumper- $14.88 Their version of a Chopped Cheese but not as good and almost double the price of what it should be. The bread was burnt and the meat was peppered to a point where it was barely edible. If you're charging $14.88 for a chopped cheese, there shouldn't be much room for error but they somehow made that error. Bumper Burger - $ 5.00 A plain burger that was good but not anything special. The value is there with it being $ 5.00. Boosted Bumper Fries - $5.99 Not the worst deal but nothing special. It felt like they just threw a bunch of ingredients on top of some fries. The sauce was nothing special. Drink - $2.79 $32 for something that really wasn't anywhere close to worth that value. Would not recommend unless you're just going for the $5 burger. read more

I always appreciate places like this trying to both accommodate to their own people's dietary restrictions while also looking to gain business from the wider public. To be blunt, it's disappointing for me that there can be an entire shift of staff where not one person speaks truly decent English. What got me ticked was the box from my dog slipped open on bottom and it fell into my lap. Went back inside to ask for wipes and took a moment for the guy to understand me. Explained to him what happened and was not remotely apologetic. Wound up grabbing a handful of napkins and wetting them in the bathroom. If you don't have the dietary restrictions this place is meant to address, do yourself a favor and drive five minutes out to Rand Red Hots. The food will be better, half the price, less wait time, and you'll be working with some perfectly competent employees instead of these people. read more

This place is very expensive, but the burgers are good. Unfortunately, it takes FOREVER to pickup your food! The owner blames it on the fact that the food is made fresh to order, but these are smash burgers!! They DON'T take long to cook, and he SAYS that they don't cook the fries until the customer arrives to pickup the order. WHO DOES THAT?? That being said, how is it that I have gotten COLD FRIES when I always ask for my fries to be EXTRA CRISPY? (which they never are!) Great spot! Service is quick and everyone is very friendly. I've tried the Bumper Burger with was well seasoned, juicy, and fresh. The grilled chicken sandwich was very juicy and quite filling as well. The hotdog is also very good. The serving sizes are just right, not too big or small. Fires are super crispy and fresh. I had already been to the Lombard location a few times and was already impressed, this is a hidden gem and I'm psyched to have one in the neighborhood! Went opening week and if possible it was better than I remember! Everything is made fresh and this burger reminds me of Shake Shack but WAY BETTER. Everything is made to order and the service is really top notch. It's a small place but can accommodate any group size, they play contemporary upbeat music and you can either order in person or at the kiosk if you modify a lot like me. The chicken poppers are not to be missed. Not greasy, fresh (like everything!), and not too salty. Hope they open the drive thru soon, I plan to be a regular especially with a $5.00 burger option (thank you!!) keep these guys in the neighborhood and give them a chance! read more
