Me and my friends come to Wendy's often. Every night we come the cashiers at the windows are extremely disrespectful. Today Sunday may 31st we came to get some sweet treats. Shortie at the window said no more then 5 words our whole interaction. We came around again doing a bet seeing if she would go over or under 2 words. So we placed a bet, when we drove up she said 0 words to us. Since I lost this bet now I have to run a milk mile. This is unacceptable. We will prolly still be coming back but not happily. read more

The absolute worst service I've ever experienced at any restaurant. We came at 11:14 pm on Wednesday November 29th, 2023 and was greeted by a woman with a heavy southern accent. As we gave our order she told us to hold on, which was fine. She then said "no lemonades" so we asked what drinks they had when she replied with "I'm not finna stand up here and name all these drinks". That's all I needed to hear. I went to this place today to get dinner. I will not be going back for a long time. The fries were horrible. And the service was really bad. I was trying to place my order and the "Karen" at the drive thru would not let me finish my order. She kept trying to get me to hurry and order. I bet to the counter, the young man who works there, walks from his side. We meet at the counter. I'll take a large Frosty, I say. Lol, I don't even work up here, he chuckles and walks away. The second worker strolls up to the counter, looking away the whole time, not at the counter, surely not at me. But luckily he makes it to the counter without walking into anything. He arrives and continues to look off in one direction, what I does he see? Not me, something interesting. Nope, just a wall. I wait fiot what seems 10-30 seconds. I noticed minutes later a frosty on the counter top, I was the only customer, it must be mine, right, I guess, probably? No words, no direction, no hello, no can I take your order. No thanks for coming, no, ok, here ya go, one frosty (indicating this one is yours), nothing. No expression, dead eyes, dead pan expression, no joy, no emotion. Special needs? Maybe? So bizarre, the whole vibe, all the staff. How does this place stay in business? Do folks in Brandon just accept this is "service" now? I'm a Catholic Christian, always airing on the side of mercy and charity. But these boys need a real male role model on their lives. I won't lie walking in i was worried because they were getting slammed in the drive through and dining room. The self order machines were down inside. But Melvin came in strong and took orders efficiently and quickly. Within minutes the team had my order ready. Not to mention that my double was perfect. Commercial worthy! I'm literally in the parking lot after trying to walk in to get a quick dinner with my daughter. It is 7:15pm on a Saturday and the dining room is literally locked. I have trouble rating a fast food place more than 3 stars, but this Wendy's is actually pretty good for this genre of restaurant. It is a bit pricier than McDonald's and Burger King, but the quality seems to be consistently better. Picked my granddaughter up from school yesterday, so I gave her a choice of going to a drive through restaurant on the way home. She immediately chose Wendy's, which I later learned was mainly for the availability of their Frosty drink/dessert. We ordered a couple of single burgers, fries, two frosties, and a box of chicken tenders to bring home to my grandson. The burgers (aka Dave's single) were fresh and grilled perfectly. The fries were okay, though not quite as tasty as McDonalds. This was the first time I had a frostie, and wasn't aware that it was much thicker in consistency than a milkshake. When the server handed me the drinks I asked for a straw in addition to the spoons we were given. She complied and just smiled at me. I asked what has so funny about asking for a straw, and she said that I was going to have trouble drinking it with a straw. She was right. Tasty, but consistency of thick soft serve ice cream. I'm absolutely hooked on their apple pecan salad! I've been twice this week and the staff was pleasant and quick. My salad was ice cold (HALLELUJAH) and fresh both times. The interior was clean, even the soda area, which we know those can be downright disgusting. The new design of the building is the most backwards thing I've ever seen. Drive thru can be a nightmare. This is now my second time being told that they are "not serving" but yet have staff manning the drive thru doing nothing. I have placed mobile orders with this location twice and both times they have either refused to acknowledge the order or instead have told me they simply cannot serve me. First off, apparently when me and my group of 5 friends got their, there was a lady named "z" who got into trouble because the manager got on to her about z not getting stuff done and they started cussing and it was very unprofessional. Got harassed by a male employee around 10:30pm. We were sitting just trying to eat quickly because we knew they closed soon and were asked by the employee if he and his friend could sit with us when we didn't respond in a positive manner he started accosting us, saying he just wanted to hear us say yes and then began to say things like "oh I get it you're shutting me out" and "I just wanted to be friends" he was on shift and had used sweeping the floors as an excuse to come to our table. He mockingly laughed at us and was raising his voice by the time we packed up and decided to eat on the road instead. Our cashier took our order promptly, correctly, and courteously. Unfortunately, the remainder of the staff were far more interested in something on the laptop they had behind the counter than fulfilling orders. They grudgingly did take a few minutes away from the screen but they made our order incorrectly and, when the cashier attempted to have it corrected, they were back on the computer and completely ignored her. When we finally did receive our food, it was hot and reasonably fresh. The only issue was my companion's Frosty, which had not been properly frozen and was very runny. Oh, and when I did get a chance to see what was so enthralling on the computer, it was a Wendy's corporate training quiz on customer service and order fulfillment. Store location here wasn't very busy at all, neither the eat-in section or driveway had more than 6 six cars being serviced altogether. I still waited close to 10 minutes waiting to even order, and then when I did order I waited another 10-15 minutes listening to the gossip about the customer prior to me that had an issue with their service as well. Better yet, as I listen to a group of people gossip about a customer, I finally get my food. Too bad it was cold, sucks for me right? We love Wendy's and the Brandon one did not disappoint. We can't eat at home as cheaply as we can at Wendy's. They really treat us seniors royally with a free drink and a free "keychain" Frosty. Service was good and the restaurant was cleaner than most fast food restaurants. read more
