I should've checked the ratings here before ordering online. The worst dinner of my life on fast food. I thought i wanted something different. Just to spice things up. I ordered the new pretzel pub chicken sandwich in a lg meal. The only reason i dont give them a 0 is cause the sandwich was at least done right. Everything else was just bad. First of they are heavily depending on the new Scale system like mc d does. But the employees aren't verifying that the items are all there, that they reflect what the receipt says. You guys shouldn't depend on the scale n just use it as a "help" but before taping the bag shut? Just give it a look. You wouldn't go to sleep while driving right? You still need to do everything else? Right? The lg combo had no drink, the fries were disgusting n stale. Wanted to try the Cinnabons pull apart, they were dried n burned in the center, just a rock with sauce on em. Why even advertise the fresh pull apart photos if the end result was garbage? Why even add stale cold fries to the order? Theres no quality control n i wouldn't be surprised if theres no quality control employee. I forget that this is a fast food joint n not a restaurant. Not to be mean of course because if i was managing this store i wouldn't allow this bs. All food business have to have a high standard in the items the sell. Not just shove crap in a bag that they themselves wouldn't eat themselves. There has to be a timer n shelf life. Its leaderships responsibility to verify the product meets the brand and advertising. There has to be a guide that they are supposed to follow. Need better system training with handling merchandize on the way out. Most fast food reduce rolls to simplify the work load but its common sense to VERIFY that the items are in the bag and for the prep crew VERIFY the food is to standards. Yo #%^t ain't cheap. I will never do business here again. I do not recommend this place. Go somewhere else. The rating reflects the quality n service. Who ever owns this franchise needs to get their S together n pick up the slack cuz this is obviously bad Handling. Again i would never allow my products to just go out without someone keeping track of quality n items not matching the receipt. Its a simple fix. Better coaching, track the quality, set shelf life for fast perishables like fries, teach your employees to read n verify the receipts and check the bag before closing. The more people add machines the more crp will break down or cause problems. Every machine eventually fails its why we dont depend on them. Its ok to be assisted but its better to VERIFY. Tell me you dont count your cash after atm withdrawal? I count everything cuz i been working with high tech machines most of my life, did inventory a big chunk. Automated ayatem says there 8 items, the alot has 1. This is the fastest way to go bankrupt, trusting a machine. Yes i may be coming hard on a scale but come on! You guys have a finisher position. just look at receipt n then after n only after making sure the scale may be wrong? Close the bag. Wawa n mc Donald's have the same problem. I looked at the lady in the face in the Wawa as she just closed the bag cuz the scale told her everything was in the bag. I told her. Read the receipt n look in the bag. No sandwich no drinks. Me and my friends come to Wendy's often. Every night we come the cashiers at the windows are extremely disrespectful. Today Sunday may 31st we came to get some sweet treats. Shortie at the window said no more then 5 words our whole interaction. We came around again doing a bet seeing if she would go over or under 2 words. The absolute worst service I've ever experienced at any restaurant. We came at 11:14 pm on Wednesday November 29th, 2023 and was greeted by a woman with a heavy southern accent. As we gave our order she told us to hold on, which was fine. She then said "no lemonades" so we asked what drinks they had when she replied with "I'm not finna stand up here and name all these drinks". That's all I needed to hear. I went to this place today to get dinner. I will not be going back for a long time. The fries were horrible. And the service was really bad. I was trying to place my order and the "Karen" at the drive thru would not let me finish my order. She kept trying to get me to hurry and order. No thanks for coming, no, ok, here ya go, one frosty (indicating this one is yours), nothing. No expression, dead eyes, dead pan expression, no joy, no emotion. Special needs? Maybe? I won't lie walking in i was worried because they were getting slammed in the drive through and dining room. The self order machines were down inside. I have trouble rating a fast food place more than 3 stars, but this Wendy's is actually pretty good for this genre of restaurant. It is a bit pricier than McDonald's and Burger King, but the quality seems to be consistently better. Picked my granddaughter up from school yesterday, so I gave her a choice of going to a drive through restaurant on the way home. She immediately chose Wendy's, which I later learned was mainly for the availability of their Frosty drink/dessert. We ordered a couple of single burgers, fries, two frosties, and a box of chicken tenders to bring home to my grandson. The burgers (aka Dave's single) were fresh and grilled perfectly. The fries were okay, though not quite as tasty as McDonalds. This was the first time I had a frostie, and wasn't aware that it was much thicker in consistency than a milkshake. When the server handed me the drinks I asked for a straw in addition to the spoons we were given. She complied and just smiled at me. I asked what has so funny about asking for a straw, and she said that I was going to have trouble drinking it with a straw. She was right. Tasty, but consistency of thick soft serve ice cream. I'm absolutely hooked on their apple pecan salad! I've been twice this week and the staff was pleasant and quick. My salad was ice cold (HALLELUJAH) and fresh both times. The interior was clean, even the soda area, which we know those can be downright disgusting. The new design of the building is the most backwards thing I've ever seen. Drive thru can be a nightmare. Our cashier took our order promptly, correctly, and courteously. Unfortunately, the remainder of the staff were far more interested in something on the laptop they had behind the counter than fulfilling orders. They grudgingly did take a few minutes away from the screen but they made our order incorrectly and, when the cashier attempted to have it corrected, they were back on the computer and completely ignored her. When we finally did receive our food, it was hot and reasonably fresh. The only issue was my companion's Frosty, which had not been properly frozen and was very runny. Got harassed by a male employee around 10:30pm. We were sitting just trying to eat quickly because we knew they closed soon and were asked by the employee if he and his friend could sit with us when we didn't respond in a positive manner he started accosting us, saying he just wanted to hear us say yes and then began to say things like "oh I get it you're shutting me out" and "I just wanted to be friends" he was on shift and had used sweeping the floors as an excuse to come to our table. He mockingly laughed at us and was raising his voice by the time we packed up and decided to eat on the road instead. First off, apparently when me and my group of 5 friends got their, there was a lady named "z" who got into trouble because the manager got on to her about z not getting stuff done and they started cussing and it was very unprofessional. Second , there was a lady with red hair who started to cuss at me after I asked for my fries and on top of that she wanted to start walk away from her job . Me and my group of 5 waited inside that Wendy's for 45 minutes, they skipped our order and they got reminded to now do that. Like how does that happen. Store location here wasn't very busy at all, neither the eat-in section or driveway had more than 6 six cars being serviced altogether. I still waited close to 10 minutes waiting to even order, and then when I did order I waited another 10-15 minutes listening to the gossip about the customer prior to me that had an issue with their service as well. Better yet, as I listen to a group of people gossip about a customer, I finally get my food. Too bad it was cold, sucks for me right? We love Wendy's and the Brandon one did not disappoint. We can't eat at home as cheaply as we can at Wendy's. They really treat us seniors royally with a free drink and a free "keychain" Frosty. Service was good and the restaurant was cleaner than most fast food restaurants. read more
