Food is cold especially the fries. Service completely sucks from ordering to Management. Especially Management this location really should be closed down until everyone including the management team take some kind of customer service classes and learn customer etiquette. They have no idea on how to deal, handle or take care of customers who pay their checks for them to make a living. They really act like people have to come to their establishment eat their greasy food and they give them one napkin, disregarding what the Customer ask for. This is really sad because all the other checkers that I've been to. I've never had this problem over and over again is either my food is cold. My food is not the way I asked for it and one napkin and they give you sodas with the drink, spilling all on the side of it, and don't even wipe it off. Along with the fact of asking for extra napkins and the manager takes the napkins back out the bag and ask you what you have napkins at home. What kind of craziness is that? Slow service and nasty food. I'm not a fan of fast food, but walked here only because the line at Panda Express next door was moving super slow. There were four cars in the drive thru and 1 person standing outside waiting for an order. I asked him about the place since I'd never eaten Checkers food before and he said he liked it, gave recommendations. He had been waiting for about five minutes for his order. I counted about seven employees inside filling orders, but couldn't see anyone actually making food so guessing that's why the lines were crawling slow there too? I waited a few more minutes before the manager came to the window and said she would be with me after finishing the order for the guy outside. I parked, went up to the window and ordered a checker burger and a banana milkshake and sat at one of their tables to eat. Decided since I was in front of my appointment location I'd just leave my car since there was no parking and walked in to get my haircut. Not even a full hour later, I went to get in my car to leave to find it missing! Turns out checkers had my car towed even though I ordered food and ate there! The food has always tasted fresh (as fresh as Checkers can be) and the order always right. Checker's is one of those places that's just hard to find in Brandon, but Tampa people are lucky to have all over. If I'm on 60 driving somewhere or with a friend nearby, I usually can't help but stop by and have a juicy burger with some of their amazingly well seasoned fries. One word. Terrible! Okay, maybe two words. Gross and terrible! We stopped at this location after leaving Sam's Club for some fries. Decided to get a meal instead, shouldn't have wasted our money. Before we left the parking lot we always taste our drinks to make sure they are correct. They were not. All 3 different drinks had no carbonation. So we had to park and go up to the window and wait forever to get new drinks. Turns out the carbonation machine was broken and they knowingly were selling everyone uncarbonated drinks. After we arrived home we saw that our burgers were not cooked all the way through and we're pink in the middle. So we had to toss out the food. Biggest waste of 18 dollars. Don't go there, don't eat there, don't give them your money. They don't care about the customer or the quality or integrity of their food or service. Keep driving when you see this place. I took the burgers back and the person at the window did not even apologize. They just asked if I wanted the food remade. No, I just wanted a refund. Today is the third time I've come to this location and had a poor experience; each becoming worse and worse. I personally love Checkers and crave one everywhere I go. The first time I came it took me about 20 minutes to get two fry lover burgers. 30 if we count the 10 minutes I stood at the window as the only customer and they simply walked past me. The girl at the window handed me a bag of napkins instead of my food at one point and I was extremely confused. The second time was less of a hassle, but they handed me two cold fry lovers burgers that were clearly made long before they served them to me, which wasn't great but at least it didn't take me 30 minutes of standing in the hot Florida sun to get them. The third time they handed me the incorrect order three times within about fifteen minutes, worse and worse progressively. The order was Two fry lovers no mayo, they put mayo on them. Then they handed me two fish sandwiches (still with mayo) and then we told them it was still incorrect while telling them what we ordered. The next time was a bag of 3 plain burgers and the confusion was powerful at this point. The entire time the gentleman was tryin to figure out what I had ordered, the manager was screaming at the staff, making it almost impossible to hear or communicate, and also it was totally awkward just listening to a screaming match when all I came for were a few sandwiches. Horrible experience at this location today. I had a list of 11 orders for my employees for lunch. Went to drive thru and they said I had to come to walk up. I was trapped in drive thru line and that took ten minutes. They were slow to take my order and they were slow to get the order ready. I noticed one order was wrong before I left and I had to wait for that. I delivered the food and 3 peoples orders were short and 3 peoples orders were prepared wrong. Had to go back and it took forever to get the rest of the order. By the time I got my somewhat right order....it was an hour and 25 minutes from when they took my order and that did not include the 10 minutes I waited in line before ordering. Some of the burgers were not fresh when we got them, and looking in the window...the place was not very clean. (Food all over the floor, etc). Another customer was furious as well with his order and communicated he had issues every time he went to this location. I did not take it out on the staff....I understand it could be management, etc. I will not be back there. read more
