I made the drive from Kissimmee to Tampa just for this barbecue spot, and it was absolutely worth it. The food itself was amazing! full of flavor and cooked perfectly. but what really stood out to me was the overall experience. The service was great, and the décor and ambiance were phenomenal. It has this super cute, rustic, authentic barbecue vibe that makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. My favorite part (and a MUST-try) was the brisket, hands down one of the best I've had. Everything felt well thought out, from the easy parking to the clean, private bathrooms, which just made the visit even better. This is definitely a place I would go back to again without hesitation. Picked up a rack of spare ribs to go from this location. Received excellent service on the phone when I called in the order and at the counter when I went in to pick k up the order. Boyfriend and I both thought the ribs were fabulous. Very well seasoned, tender and just the right amount of smoke. Will definitely get ribs at this location again and sample other items. The name on the to go order was Kendall and my order was exactly correct. I am curious why my bill came to $48 when I ordered two barbecued pork sandwich baskets at 14.99 each and one order of onion rings for 9.99. even using 10% for state and local taxes. It seems like my bill was approximately five dollars more than I expected. Perhaps they charge more for takeout orders or, a service fee or for using a credit card. I don't know.
