Ok, this is the only McDonald's within a 8 mile radius of me that produces happy qualit people efficient. friendly. My food is always hot and fresh from this location. I don't understand why the other 5 can't do it, but kudos to the management team. And it's even hard to find you on Yelp. Ive lived a block or two away from here for going on 5-6 years and its my go-to place if i dont feel like cooking or spending money on groceries. The food is very good until about 1:00 am when it starts to get cold and people are tired. I would recommend the drive through or the app if you're going here,you could wait awhile since all the staff is in the kitchen 9/10 times. The best times to go are usually between 1:00 pm and 6:00. The people are nice and the statf are too, the place has been very clean and kept up since the remodel. If you're just looking for some fast burgers and fries i would recommend this McDonald's, just don't here go past midnight expecting it to he as good as noon read more

Ordered 2 combos, was told they didn't have lettuce. No problem. Happens. Asked me to pull up to the next window to wait. No problem. Watched 7 cars pass. Honked a few times. Worker came to my window and locked it. Watched another 2 cars pass. Had to hold on the horn for a minute until somebody even came to ask what was going on. Not the best McDonald's I have used, but smack dab in the middle of Brandon, so it is often convenient. Today during lunch the drive through lanes were relatively empty. I ordered for myself and two others, and we all got variations of McDoubles. For those unaware, a McDouble is just a double cheeseburger, but it only has one slice of cheese instead of two. This saves you about 20 cents (today), but prices change a lot. It used to be that the McDouble was on the $1 value menu, which made a big difference. The order taker was a little slow, as I watched the order screen at the drive through change about half a dozen times. The 1st window (cashier) seemed fairly preoccupied with a conversation on her head set, so there were no warm fuzzies exchanged during the transaction. I was asked to pull up to one of the waiting spots, as it would take a few minutes for my special order to finish. Reminds me of when I was in college and my friend and I would go to McDonalds. I would always have a special order that would take extra time and he always order off the menu. Because he didn't want his food to get cold, he would order french fries without salt, forcing his to be a special order as well. Then when his order was done, he would ask for some packets of salt for the fries. Today for myself I ordered a McDouble with onions only. Take a look at the picture I will upload, and see plethora of onions that were provided. Tonight, I ordered JUST a hot chocolate, the moment I gripped the cup, I instantly knew this wasn't gonna be good, and then I thought, how could you give me something, you knew wasn't right. So, I proceeded to circle around the building to ask for a refund, and then I was told, oh... our machine is down, would you like another beverage? I answered, absolutely not! I've done Doordash in the past, and this McDonald's has always been extremely slow, always turning over, and let's not forget, always messing up orders. worst mcdonald's experience i've ever had in my life. waited 10 mins in the drive thru with no response, until the female worker came over the speaker, and she seemed SUPER annoyed. pulled around after i gave my order, only to see an entire family, and a truck driver standing out in the parking lot waiting for their food. waited another 10 mins for her to even come to the window to give me my total. had to wait another 15 to get my food, and had to ask for my sauce. the two people waiting outside had to come up to the window and ask her where their food was because they had been waiting for 20 mins. she started to say how she was the only person working (when i saw 3 other employees inside) got home, and was given two burnt chicken strip scraps, sprite without any ice. everything was stone cold, couldn't even BITE into the chicken. don't come here, i'm calling the GM and corporate tomorrow. save your money and time. read more

I have grandkids that like McDonalds. It's the only reason I order food from this location. Not all McDonalds have this problem. My problem at 502 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon FL, is every time I put in an order in drive thru I have to repeat myself at least 3x and they still screw up the order. I'm an old timer and just chalked it up to todays generation. No more. I'm tired of customer service at this location and needed to vent. Today they didn't get the condiments right, gave a wrong drink and forgot to put in the rewards code even though I gave it to them. My fast food restaurant of choice is Chic Fillet. 11 pm, I drove though to get myself an Iced tea. Since I had heard their commercials about their new Mozerella sticks at 3 for $1 I decided to try those. I wish I hadn't. What I got was... revolting. The sticks weren't fried. I think they were microwaved. They were not at all crispy. The cheese had probably been melted at one time, but not now. They were pretty nasty in truth. On July 4, 2022 this location charged my card for food I never received. I ordered through the App and I went to pick the food up and they told they didn't see an order in the system. I showed them the order in my phone and they told me they never got it and wanted to keep running my card. I told them never mind and to cancel the order. The next day the payment was processed anyway. I will never do business with them again. The manager wasn't even watching the workers because if she was she would've seen them smoking weed in the parking lot with their friends. The manager never came to the car to talk to me she just kept sending the cashiers out to the car. This location is full of unprofessional clowns on the night shift. As much money as this company makes there is no way I'm letting this go. My order was $30 but it was my hard earned $30 and I definitely don't have money to just take and give to a billion dollar company. I will be taking further action about this. read more
