I came here a couple times while doing business in Bellevue. Every time there was a long line that was very slow in the drive thru which should have told me right away something was wrong as Wendy's is the king of the fast drive thru. The first two times I was here, I didn't mind waiting because I was on a tight schedule and budget. The last two times, my order was wrong. I ordered a double and got a single both times. I know I'm not asking much going to a fast food. But it would at least be nice to get a simple "hello" or a smile when ordering. Instead I got a young lady who I was happening to inconvenience while stopping by for lunch. Then, when my order came out wrong (chili on my salad instead of on the side) and I asked for it corrected, she rolled her eyes before taking it back and providing a new salad. This Wendy's is awful. The nearby hotels have a large number of airline employees staying in them. We are transported by van services and generally do not have vehicles to get around. Since this Wendy's is close by I decided to walk over and get some dinner. However their lobby closes at 7pm with only the drive thru remaining open. When I approached the drive thru window and asked to order The guy working at the window refused service because I did not have a car. I tried to explain my situation that I was staying next door and had no car and simply wanted to buy some dinner. He was very rude and told me to leave. Closing the lobby at 7pm and refusing service to a customer that simply wants to get some dinner after working all day is really a poor way to run a business especially with the number of airline employees staying in nearby hotels. read more

We come to this Wendy's occassionally. Food is prepared fine like what you would expect in many other fast food restaurants. However, I have to say that the customer service is getting very bad lately. This afternoon, the guy at the drive thru just shouted at me over the speaker phone because it took me a more than 2 seconds to tell him what I wanted for drink. I'm not sure if it was the same guy at the register, but he was very confrontational as well. I'm just getting my food, why do you have to unload your anger or whatever issue you have on your customer? The experience is disappointing. I'm not usually a big fan of Wendy's but this location was right next to my hotel and I wanted to grab something quick to eat before heading off to the airport. It was a really unexpected experience. The Wendy's back home are, well, not very upscale - is that PC enough? This one was different; it seemed nicer, cleaner, than I expected. The cashier, Jamica, was quite friendly. The decor was pleasant. There was even classical music playing. The feel was decidedly more upscale than your average Wendy's. And what is this whole business about Fresh Made Salads chopped DAILY? Apple Pecan Chicken Salad? That sounds yummy, or maybe and Asian Cashew Chicken Salad? Spicy Chicken Caesar? BBQ Ranch Chicken? MADE FRESH? Shut the front door! Wait, if I want a meal I can get MORE options than just "Would you like fries with that?" Get real! No, seriously. Instead of a meal being the standard fries and a coke add on, you have your choice of natural cut fries, rich and meaty chili, a sour cream and chive baked potato, a garden side salad, a caesar side salad, or apple slices. First of all I'm not happy I had to change my kids ass on the floor in the bathroom because this ghetto store is too cheap to buy a changing station. Strike 2 was the fact they are out of Coke. Who runs out of Coke Cola?? The final strike was the fact they were out of regular chicken nuggets! My two year old who just had her ass changed on a cold floor isn't going to eat spicy nuggets. A two star review is bad enough, but when you look at the history of this Wendys, it is a surprise Wendys still allows this franchise to operate. The fries were colder then the chains famous frosties. The service was also cold. The chicken sandwhich was hard and chewy tasting. The only saving grace was the Coca Cola and the sweet and sour sauce. Wendys seriously needs to kick the franchise owners of this awful Wendys out and gets someone who cares. Sadly, it is located behind a Hyatt Hotel, so my guess is their sales are good. Wendys here understands they can serve poorly prepared food with bad service and still have high sales because even if a guest never comes back, they have thousands of new guests each week making that decision. That is where hopefully Yelp will come in and potential guests will see to stay clear. Our friendly funny staff will serve you right away but the food will somehow still be cold. Almost as cold as our Frosty shakes, which are thick and awesome. That's right, enjoy our "luxury" dining room, where the carpet was already old when Dave Thomas was still alive! The wooden chairs may be rock hard but at least they're environmentally friendly because they'll survive a bomb blast! Speaking of the environment, there's no wasted soda here because there's no soda fountain, you get to interact with out counter staff for every refill you want. I live a block away from this place, but I rarely come here.. And my visit yesterday night has proven that I've been right about this place.. The large fountain drink (diet lemonade) had a detergent taste, and so was the fries.. I think they need to clean better.. it's really really gross... Another issue with fast-food places is that they probably rarely change the oil or whatever, and this one cleans but not completely.. so you could taste the detergent.. hey, want some detergent fries? The drive through counter is very rude as many other reviews already mentioned. Besides, the sandwiches are usually cold.

They redid the parking lot - so be careful you don't fly by it or you'll never get back. This is one of very few drive-thru's close to downtown bellevue (the majority have been torn down to make way for more condos). I've never had any major problems at this location. It's quick, cheap and easy. If I go to late at night - sometimes I think the food has been sitting for hours (yuck). But usually everything is fine. read more

Wendy's is one of the last fast food restaurants that still survive on Bellevue Way, and I think the only one that offers a drive thru, now that Arby's and Taco Bell / KFC are gone. But instead of shrinking or showing signs of being swallowed up by Bellevue's growing capacity for high rise buildings Wendy's expanded it's parking lot and drive thru lane. This location will not offer you anything spectacular. It is a cookie cutter experience. The lunch hour is crazy, with a line inside that will easily rival the drive thru line, but it is your best chance of getting your order correct. For some reason after 6 PM there is an equally high chance that they will mess up your order. I think in all the times I have been there I have been guaranteed that my order will not be right after 6, but at lunch never had a problem. Inside is all right. I have only eaten in during lunch and during that time the staff is busy taking care of the crowd of customers. So condiment explosions on the countertops are fairly regular, and you better hope that the person who ate at the table before you had the courteously of cleaning up after themselves, because the staff has no opportunity to wash done the tables. If you want the Wendy's experience, then this will not disappoint. read more

I'm giving this place 2 out of 5 stars because that's about how often i get hot fries. The also not good: the customer service. Came in here tonight on Christmas Eve and received some exceptional service from the staff here at Wendy's. Their positive attitude and joy while serving was definitely a standout, and you could tell they take pride in their work. It isn't easy I'm sure to be working on a Christmas Eve during the holidays, but here they were giving their best effort. It was a true sight to see, and their effort should be noted. Out of all of the fast food places I'd say this Wendy's is the best!! Their spicy chicken sandwich, the fries, their double burger, all so amazing and never cold! Drove by for a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast combo for my friend. I am looking at the monitor and it has exactly that - 2 items, $6. Great. I drive up to the drive-thru window and the chick hands me 1 sandwich and a receipt for $4.50. So I ask you - WHAT THE F*CK HAPPENED to my breakfast sandwich order in the 4 seconds that it took me to drive up? If that wasn't enough, the byotch gives me attitude??? Finally, she put in an order for the original breakfast sandwich that I order, of course making it seem like she has to give me her left kidney. I am finally driving with the sandwich in hand and bite into it. I didn't know Wendy's started catering for airlines now, but this sandwich tasted like dog crap. I stayed in the Hyatt on the same block. I came over for lunch. We stood in line, a long line, at lunch. The line of about 15 was attended by friendly, working in good pace competent staff. I was pleased and impressed at the friendly courtesy an dupbeat attitude. The food was- you know, fast food. The salad options are good. The hot chicken was hot and the bread, well, like I did, you can throw out half of it. Part way through lunch rush someone spilled a large drink. The staff person put up a beware sign and quickly wiped down the seat an dswept up the ice. No mess, no fuss, no attitude. Quick, easy problem solving. read more

There are so many things wrong with this place, I don't know where to start. This feels like a franchisee running this place because they make so many mistakes. First, what are their hours. It is not posted anywhere I could tell and I looked everywhere. Second, focus on more than just the drive thru. Customers inside typically get additional food, but you are ignoring them Third, you counter is a mess. One register? Move the drink machine out and let people get their own. I agree with the other reviewers- there is something strange about this Wendy's. It's like it would be the one one store that wasn't participating in whatever regional promotion was going on at the time, you know what I mean? I haven't had any issues with my orders being messed up or anything, and the food has been fine, but there's definitely something strange going on with the customer service. The guy that helped me the last time I was there was okay, I guess, but he was trying to break some sort of fast-food service record in number of customers served within 5 minutes. There must've like 5 cars in line, and he got through all of us really quickly. When I checked my bag to make sure I got everything, he had forgotten to give me my bbq sauce, so I asked him, and he got all huffy puffy as if I ruined his speed record. haha... overall, everything was fine, just a little different. read more

I can not believe this place is still here. It almost seems like they think "We're the only Wendy's in bellevue, people will come here even if we suck.". And unfortunately, that seems to be the case. Come here expecting to have your order messed up, Every time I've been here, they have WITHOUT FAIL forgotten something or disregarded one of my requests. Don't want onions on your burger? Too bad! The staff is incompetent and the food poorly prepared. I know it's fast food, but come on Wendy's this is ridiculous.
