I really dislike when people order food right over / next to the area you are trying to pick up your food. I don't think they think about how many customers they are trying to cram into a 2' x 2' area. It's also not healthy to talk over someone elses' food - gross! this wendy's is a good example of how i feel about wendy's.... the life of the place was sucked out of it since Dave passed away. Wendy's used to be my favorite fast food chain to eat. as a broke high school student and a broke college student. you simply can't beat their 99 cent menu. then mad cow disease broke out, the tomatoe issues, then hurricane issues, then dave died... all of a sudden what 99 cent bought before = a double stack with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cooked to perfection became 99 cents for two salty meat patties with melted cheese in between two buns. if you wanted lettuce, onions and tomatoes it costed an extra 50 cents. never about the money now... but the principal instead. every item got smaller after the passing of the owner Dave. quality dropped. and food just never tasted the same. this wendy's here is only of the few spots left to grab quick fast food in the ever growing Bellevue. but like other patrons and yelpers here... there is something going on behind the scenes of the kitchen. the staff seem like zombies. no laughs, no smiles, just robotic order taking and doing what ever it takes to push the line along. they don't seem to have an issue talkin amongst one another and joking around - but never that good customer service to, well, actual customers. however - what keeps them afloat with 2 stars is the orders are never messed up. they are very thorough in their food taking process. robotic... if you will. read more

I ran out of time on the way to church tonight, so we swung by this Wendy's. I like Wendy's pretty well for fast food, but this store almost always dissapoints on my already low expectations. It's a pain in the ass to get in to from Bellevue way, the drive through is slow and just badly shaped, the parking lot is a messed up shape, and the dining room is always dirty. Also, they always seem to give me cold fries that I end up throwing out. Also, there's something wrong with the mixture on the coke. That being said, it's pretty much the only drive through fast food in downtown Bellevue core and it's still better than Mc D's. read more

Wendy's is one of many budget options in downtown Bellevue. Interestingly, the cheap fast food restaurants are disbursed slightly outside the downtown Bellevue work area but it is a good cheap eat for lunch on a work day as it is just a block north of Bellevue Square. The dollar menu stuff fills you up whether it is the baked potato, Caesar side salad, or the chicken nuggets. In fact, I have no real need to order from outside this list. I guess it goes with the fact that fast food is what Wendy's is. Why order an item that I would expect a little longer to get when I am trying to get what I want quickly? There are few burger options outside of Red Robin, Fatburger and McDonald's in downtown Bellevue making Wendy's your best bet. read more

There is something weird about this Wendy's. The reason that I go here, is that it is on the way home from the Lincoln Square Movies. Now, first is building engineering. It is almost impossible to get into this place except from a single direction. And it is impossible to drive through and keep going in the same direction. You have to drive around a Bellevue sized block to keep going the same way. Otherwise, my order is almost always wrong somehow. And last but not least. Fill my frosty cup to the TOP please. Update: Last few times I've been here through the drive-thru they have had 100% order accuracy. I no longer hold a grudge against this Wendy's (except for their pulled pork "sandwich". I have been a regular this Wendy's for about the past year. Like many fast food restaurants, the staff here commonly forgets condiments, spoons, straws, and receipts. There seems to be little oversight, so check your bag before you leave! Burgers vary from piping hot to moderately warm, (don't expect much if you go late). They often do not have the baked potato for some reason. This morning I went at 10:15 to get breakfast, and I was told they were out of biscuits. As I pulled up to get the lunch I had to order, I heard the car behind me try for biscuits too, with the same response. I remarked at the window that it's awfully hard to serve breakfast without biscuits, and I was told that they weren't out, but simply stopped cooking biscuits because there were only 15 minutes left until breakfast was done being served. I am very put off by the fact that a fast-food restaurant stopped cooking food for breakfast FIFTEEN minutes before they advertised it would end, then has the nerve to lie about being out to customers. read more

First i ordered using the mobile app and prepaid and sent one of my colleagues to pick it up. When my colleague gets there he gets charge as well. Keep in mind we work overnight and we don't have that much time until everything closes so we want to get everything right. They tell us to go back and show them receipts which we do did and they say come back tomorrow because the manager on duty can't do the refund. The very next night same issue but this o called personally and spoke to the rudest non professional supposed manager on duty named DONALD and he stars raising his voice at me for asking why can't this be fixed and we keep getting bounced around. He say's " Don't talk to me like a child and come and talk to the General Manager if you have issues" and hangs up. This was the worst service I've ever experienced and the response from your manager was unacceptable. read more

Worse Wendy's around! They always screw up the orders and by far not fast food but slow as heck! I could have driven to Kirkland and got my order and drive back. This Wendy's always kind of creeps me out. I don't know what it is, but every time I go there it just feels sketchy. The staff is generally bored, but offer decent service. I have never been much of a Wendy's fan until I went with a friend who just RAVED about a salad they serve. We went and ordered the Chicken, Apple and Walnut salad. The service was really fast and they even have super large soda's which are always a plus in my book! She knew to order extra salad dressing, which is a tip! One would have not been enough! The chicken was warm and all the ingrediants seemed fresh. For a quick and more healthy alternative, this is a great way to go! read more

The only thing redeeming this review to two stars is that the food is your standard, typical Wendy's food. It's the same as every other Wendy's, and it's pretty difficult to mess up. The service, however, deserves less than one star for several reasons. 1) Every time, EVERY TIME, I've been there, they have somehow messed up the order. Usually what happens is I place the order (drive-thru) they list everything I order on the menu thing, and after I pay for my goods, they short me somehow. Usually it's a whole sandwich, sometimes it's just a medium fry instead of large. Last time I went, they shorted me TWO frosties. 2) No speaky English? I don't think so. Another time an order was messed up, the guy behind the counter put his hands up and says "me scuzy, no speaky english." A few days later my husband passed him on the sidewalk as the man was having a conversation with someone else... in perfect American English. 3) Sitting at the drive-thru, waiting for my two missing frosties, I looked into the pay window and watched as one of the fry cooks sneezed onto his hand and proceeded to cook more food. 4) If you want to dine in, expect to sit at a dirty table. Clean ones are hard to come by. I wish the downtown Dairy Queen was still around... Those gorram frosties keep me coming back to Wendy's though. read more

Bad service. Cold Food. Trash staff. I wouldn't eat here even if I was paid to. It's food poisoning wrapped up in tin foil, I KID you not the secretary from monsters inc handed me cold French Fries and told me they "WeRE FrOm THe RUsH EaRliEr" ... My wife and I have had dinner there about once a week for the last few years, and the place is usually clean, the food is consistent, the fries are hot, and the service is more than decent. I can count on one hand the times I had any complaint at all (once had my fries missing in a to-go order, and one time I asked for extra onions, and got none). I don't really do fast food and today I went to Wendy's and ordered 3 things. Nuggets with BBQ sauce, a cheeseburger and a Caesar side salad. Since I've had bad experiences the times I have gotten fast food, I decided to check my bag. There was no croutons for my salad, no BBQ sauce and they gave me a fork to eat my salad with. Smh. This Wendy's has really gone downhill in the last few years. Food is constantly cold, the burgers contain more grease than actual meat, and zero customer service. The last two times I ordered through the drive through my food came out either room temp or cold. They are obviously not making things fresh and letting food sit around until someone happens to order it. The location is super convenient which makes me sad to say that I will not be returning here. They need to update their food preparation practices and hire a new staff that understands what it means to provide good customer service and good food. read more

Went on a Tuesday morning at 1:50am. Waited over 5 minutes to give my order, but was ignored. Drove to the pickup window to see if there was staff on duty. There were 3-4 people, who signaled they were closed. I reminded them that it was before 2am, and asked politely when they stopped serving customers, but was ignored. Dave Thomas founded his company on the premise of quality customer service and not cutting corners (which is why the burgers are square). I'm certain that Dave would be very disappointed with the Bellevue crew. Apparently this Wendy's location, in downtown Bellevue, has a reputation for so-so service. My experience was consistent with that statement. I ended up going to Jack in the Box, also in Bellevue. The Jack in the Box staff was polite, courteous, and professional. AND, the food was at the same "quality level" as Wendy's. FWIW, when I was attending Ohio State, I made a point to drive to Dublin, OH to visit Wendy's International. At the time, I was impressed. Not anymore... I think I'll be visiting Jack in the Box more regularly when it's late. read more

We came 20 minutes to close and stayed passed the closing time. He wasn't rushing us and even was cool enough to let us order some stuff to go. Great customer service. I usually just do the drive-through but today I had extra time and dined in. All of the employees are happy and laughing and the happiness is contagious! I'd been wandering solo around downtown Bellevue on Friday night, feeling lonely and bored, when I decided an indulgence in comfort food was probably just the thing. Wendy's was up the block and looked like a beacon in a dark place. Chicken sandwich and Coke? Damn straight. The clerk set my drink down on a tray after taking my order, so I slid aside to wait for the rest of my food to be assembled. The person behind me stepped up to the counter. This turned out to be a twitchy old woman, not visibly crazy but, you know, twitchy. No problem, takes all kinds to make a world, etc. I tuned out to check Facebook. When I looked up again, Twitchy was investigating my drink. She'd pulled the lid off, presumably to check whether this nondescript cup held the liquid she'd ordered. In the same situation, I might have waited the full hundred and twenty seconds for control of the tray to have been formally transferred before tearing into it. The clerk darted back into view and cried, "that is not yours!" Twitchy relented, and the clerk replaced the lid. I was taken aback that she didn't fill a new cup and fit it with a new lid. It's not like Twitchy dipped her fingers in, but food service should appear sanitary as well as actually be so. Never mind, I'd just ask for a new cup when my order was ready. Alas, Twitchy's curiosity was as boundless as her impatience. A few moments after my sandwich arrived, she picked it up, partially unwrapped it, and brought her face close for an examination. The clerk reappeared with my fries and reiterated, "that is not yours!" Twitchy then tried to take my tray, and a brief tug of war ensued. The clerk, victorious, graciously re-wrapped the sandwich just sniffed by Baba Yaga, and placed it next to the fries. She gave me the tray with a little smile and a look that said "man, lots of crazies out tonight, huh?" Stumped as to what to say at this point -- I was so rattled that she might as well have handed me a duck -- I accepted the tray and went on to definitely not eat the food that had been lightly molested by a random old woman. This was probably an isolated incident but it's the kind of thing that sticks with you. I just moved to aggressively lame Bellevue from the festering madhouse that is San Francisco, and assumed I wouldn't have any more stories like this to tell. Oh well. read more

This has to be THEE WORST fast food establishment I've ever been to in my LIFE!! The employees are the rudest scumbags!! They don't deserve the minimum wage!! I've seen 16 years olds work harder and more respectfully than the load of trash that works EVENING/NIGHTS at this location!! I swear folks this is NOT a lie that we went and approached the drive thru and were greeted with a "WHAT"!!! With 99.9% accuracy they will indeed get your order wrong, wait in a long line probably because it's the only drive thru in the immediate downtown area! Not sure why I am even spending time yelping this place. Its a fast food joint, what do I expect, right? Well I expect respect like a human being. Went there the other night to grab some chicken wraps and to try their new taco salad. When I pulled up to the drive through, I ordered the chicken wraps and when I got to the salad, I asked for no tortilla chips (on the menu it states that it comes with it). The intercom with quiet, so I said, "hello?" The woman on the other end eventually "hello" back but nothing else. I was so confused. I asked her if she got my order because the screen with my order disappeared. She said "your order is on the screen." I said, "no it isn't, I am just seeing the ads." She tells me to pull up to the window. I ask her to read me my order because I wanted to make sure we didn't miss anything. She ROLLED HER EYES, sighed, then quickly read me my order. I mentioned again. "I just want to make sure there are no chips in the salad." She rudely says, "it doesn't come with chips." Then looks at me and says, "Que Pasa?! Are you ready to pay?" I was appalled. 1. YES, the taco salad does come with chips. But its all seperate (beans, chips, and salsa are all in different containers) she just had to leave the chips out, how am I suppose to know this when this is the first time I am ordering this. 2. Her name is Selenia and she REALLY needs proper training. Working at a fast food joint doesn't give you an excuse to be unprofessional and rude. Im a paying customer. Came here after a full afternoon of wine tasting. Was craving something sweet after a nice dinner. This was on the way home although I really wanted McDs! Came up to the drive thru and ordered two small frosty's, one vanilla and one chocolate. We were informed that only chocolate was available. BOOOO. We just got one small chocolate frosty, $1.52. Service was prompt (it's a frosty, come from a dispenser real quick) and the cashier handed me the frosty with two napkins wrapped around a straw and spoon. I liked that it was wrapped for easy handling and I didn't have to ask for any of it. The frosty was how I remember it, but I wish I didn't have to share since they were all out of the vanilla. If it's on the fast food chain menu, there's no reason to not have it! It did satiate my sweet craving but I think I'll go with McDs next time! read more

Unbelievable! I ask for a number one regular size...she says "small medium or large"...I say regular, what ever that size is...I get back "small"...ok, let's go with that. Then I add a cod fillet meal with a large diet and medium fries...I get back "a number 7?"...no I said a cod fillet, not a fried chicken sandwich, she says "okay" I get to the window and I drive away without receiving a receipt and I get a small coke. No fish sandwich, a cold fried chicken sandwich without my large diet coke. I'm pissed off and for the first time in my 40+ years of dining out, I call and complain. A nice lady (the manager) says "we don't have fish sandwiches...but I will replace your food" How can you replace food you don't even serve? How about giving me my money back? We sometimes go to this Wendy's because it is the only one near us. 95% of the time there is at least one thing wrong with our drive-through order, no joke. One time there was 5 things wrong with our one order. They are trying to be fast at the cost of customer service and order accuracy. And when we try to call to get a refund they don't answer the phone. Avoid this restaurant, unless you don't mind your order not being correct. read more

Horrible service, they have someone working at the cash register who speaks no english, and instead of telling the customer whom they took the order to step aside while they make the order, had the customer wait in front of the cash register until they left with the order, causing a big line, and it took 15min for me to finally get to them, and completely screwed up my order (he claimed he put my order on the plate of the previous customer, so after approaching the guy, that was not the case) so had to contact the manager on what happned to my order, get a clue management, your place is FAST FOOD, so tell your emplkoee to get the line moving and hire some people who at least speak some basic english, OK???? Worst Customer Service EVER! I came here for lunch since I was in the area. When I got to the register, I was surprised to find that the girl working was helping an employee buy food before helping me, the customer. Not only did they take their sweet time, they muttered under their breath (I don't understand the language they were speaking) and would frequently glance at me and sigh. I work in food service, and I understand not wanting to help a customer. Sometimes I come to work in a bad mood and seeing customers just irks me. I get that. But I make sure to treat every customer equitably and with respect regardless of how I feel. This makes the business look good and builds lifetime customers. This was not the type of treatment I received at this Wendy's. Also, after I did receive my food, I sat in the very far back of the restaurant near the street, and I could hear all the employees laughing and chatting away loudly. I don't think they were talking about me or anyone else, but it was bugging me and detracted from my lunch. All that to say, the manager of this particular Wendy's may want to do some performance evaluations or actually monitory the behavior of his/her employees. If something doesn't change, this will be the last fast food restaurant on Bellevue Way to close down. read more

How many times can you get an order wrong? Seriously how many times? This is literally the most incompetently run Wendy's I have ever been to. I ordered food here and they got it wrong, not only once but twice in a row (after I brought it up to them the first time). I did not feel like bringing it up to them again and just threw the food out and went to another fast food place instead. Definitely would not recommend going here. read more
