We came here for some convenient lobster meat for lobster rolls. It's expensive per pound, but the convenience of ready to serve lobster meat in juicy chunks is worth it. A little goes a long way, as it's a pretty light meat. There wasn't much weight, and the staff was very helpful. The fresh lobster made for a delicious lunch. They have a great seafood menu including live lobsters, so there is a lot to offer.

They trained new kid and he might have forgot to give my order to kitchen ( you doing great kid! It's ok), the lady ( I believed she is the owner) came out and gave me $20 back and apologized even though I said it is ok, no worries. She insist on giving back $$ and apologize more. I am ok waiting cause it is such a nice view here. It is a beautiful day. The food came out great! Definitely will be back Great service!

A must visit locally owned spot to enjoy a great casual lobster meal and beautiful sunset outside at picnic tables or inside where it's a bit less chilly. My lobster was fresh and tender, service was prompt, my husband loved the haddock bites. The only thing that would be better is homemade tartar sauce with dill (instead of Ken's) and Old Bay Seasoning for the fries. It was also surprisingly clean for being run by teenage boys yet very busy! My 91 yr old mom was grateful for the handicapped access ramp they have as well!

Beyond this unassuming door is a kick ass restaurant.

We were tipped off to this waterside seafood restaurant by a friend. The lobster pound is across the street from the water. It's very basic- order at a window and the food is brought to your table. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The picnic tables outdoors are lovely. The restaurant is immaculate. The staff were very friendly. The food was off the charts. I visit Maine frequently and am a big seafood fan. The steamers and lobsters were a top 5 experience. The house made potato chips and coleslaw were awesome. The hand made onion rings were very good. The prices were really good for dine in and were an absolute steal for take out. I can't recommend this no frills, lobster in the rough place highly enough. Wish that they didn't use disposable plates and utensils, but that's par for the course. The Well Beach Lobster Pound is the real deal- not to be missed if you're in the area.

This is an authentic Maine lobster dinner experience. It's not as popular as some other places so it's less crowded. I got a pound of steamers and a 2.25 pound lobster dinner experience. They have outdoor seaside picnic tables with awesome views.

Excellent clam chowder and amazing fried clams! This was our first time here but not our first visit to Wells, which is our favorite town in Southern Maine. As I write this review on Columbus Day they are now closed up till Spring but def put 'em on your list for Spring!

My favorite place to get lobster in Wells. Fresh and good prices. I get them cooked and cracked so I can easily use them for lobster rolls and pasta dishes while I'm in the area for the week. When headed home, they cook and pack them up- still warm when I get back to Boston. Friendly, knowledgeable employees. I get these to go but they have some great indoor and outdoor space for casual dining- and a parking lot. Great water views. Seafood and ice cream on the menu.

The "butter" that came with the lobster was some kind of yellow oil. But on the positive side the roll contained lots of lobster

One of our favorite stops had closed due to seasonal hours, so we decided to hit some other locals places. We were thrilled when we found the Fisherman's Catch last year and decided to go back again this year. We were seated right away and served not too long after. The staff is friendly and attentive. The upscale shack-like atmosphere is on point. We love their lobster paper towel holders that are suspended from the ceiling. I can say that the seating inside is comfortable but I have not been able to try the outdoor seating. So far we have tried the scallops, clam strips, fish sandwich, clam chowder, the fries, the coleslaw, and I'm sure I've forgotten something else. We have been very pleased with everything. When visiting in-season, it's best to get to the restaurant before 5pm. Parking fills up and the line can get long. In late October or early November it is much easier to get a table. Try this place once and I can guarantee you'll be planning a return trip.

Like, I'd probably go out of my way just to come back. It is a super unassuming spot behind the building of a gift/craft store and ice cream shop. There is a bar seating and patio. It was not too crowded at 3ish in the afternoon on a Monday; we were greeted warmly and told to choose a table. They didn't have a high chair but they had booster seats. I got a glass of brut rosé and my husband got the Pilsner on draft. Both were refreshing and delicious! I got a half dozen oysters (followed by another half dozen afterward) of the fresh oysters of the day, and also learnt this place is on the Maine Oyster Trail. For good reason too--they were probably some of the best oysters I've ever had. Shucked perfectly, with delicious cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon and mignonette. So good I had to get more. I had a burger for my main, with a gluten free bun and no cheese for dairy free. They also have gluten free fries that are made in a separate frier, bless! My husband got the lobster roll, cold style and said it was absolutely delicious--his first lobster roll and everything he hoped it would be. On top of the food and drinks being great, our server was an absolute gem. So kind, so helpful, he went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure my food was allergen safe. He even went out of his way to get milk for our toddler in a fun kids cup. I truly hope to make it back some day soon!

BB is a quaint outdoor only patio area that offers a full bar and seating. The staff is phenomenal, service is perfcetion and the people watching is vibrant and fun.... just Go!
