Great mechanic. Price extremely competitive since he doesn't have overhead of shop. Did level kit on my tundra.

DO NOT let this place touch your car…read more I asked if they could do a transmission fluid replacement since I had a coupon for it. First guy said no because my 4Runner doesn't have a dipstick. Then the assistant manager said he could do it. He put the wrong transmission fluid (Toyotas require Toyota WS TF). Immediately after my transmission started to slip in 3rd gear. After battling with the GM they agreed to replace with Toyota WS fluid but they didn't flush the system. The contaminants of the wrong fluid are still causing slippage in 3rd gear and I got a diagnostic from Toyota stating Toyota WS is required for my 4Runner and that the slippage is caused by the contaminant of wrong fluid. They still denied my claim. This company ruined my transmission and is refusing to take any ownership of their mistakes. This is our family vehicle and now we feel unsafe driving it. Valvoline has lost a lifetime customer because they won't own up to their mistake.

The first time I noticed this I forgot to bring it up. But now, on a different car, it happens again. For evidence, see pictures. One is the mileage upon leaving Valvoline, the other is the next service sticker I received. 3000 miles is total BS. Mopar (Jeep) advice is 5 to 10 k miles. Especially (!) since I always take the better and more expensive synthetic oil. These modern oils can do easily between 5 & 10 k miles. Is Valvoline thinking their customers don't pay attention and just go back when the sticker tells them so? I hope Valvoline, you have a good explanation for this to help me to get a bad taste out of my mouth....... Looking forward.

Gabe and Skyler serviced my vehicle. They both were professional and personable as well as gave my dog some attention. I wanted an oil change, new air filter, wipers along with coolant check. Gabe agreed with everything except air filter and showed me it was still in good condition in which after I looked, I agreed. Gabe also showed the coolant was just showing signs of weakening but also would last a bit longer also. That built a level of trust to start with. If we just had more techs like this. I have over 328k on my Explorer and turning over responsibility for servicing to others, it's nice to find a team I can trust. That makes this a great value! The service was accurate and after I got home I saw no issues but one, wrong email that I will correct tomorrow. I also like the warranties for any issues. Thanks team Gabe and Skyler...Hope to see you guys again!

I have been servicing my vehicles at this location for the past year and, up until February 2,…read more2026, I was satisfied with the work being done. Unfortunately, on that date, Take 5 made a serious mistake during my oil change--approximately 5 quarts of oil erupted out of the reservoir like a volcano. Despite this, the staff did not take the necessary steps to properly address the issue before sending me on my way. The next morning, I noticed fluid on the ground beneath my vehicle. I immediately called the store, but no one answered. I drove there in person and was told that no manager was available, and the staff made it clear they did not want to be involved. I was instructed to return at a later date. I then contacted their corporate office, which provided minimal assistance, though they did notify the local District Sales Manager (DSM). He called me the day after my visit. When we met, he apologized, inspected the vehicle, and found excessive oil throughout the engine bay and chassis. He cleaned both areas and assured me the vehicle should be fine. The following day, the leaking continued. I reached out to the DSM again, and he informed me he would file a claim with their insurance company on my behalf. Now, a month and a half later, neither the insurance company nor Take 5 has taken responsibility or provided any resolution. My vehicle has been sitting at the mechanic's shop and will not be released until their bill is paid. I have escalated this issue to Take 5's executive team and filed complaints with the BBB in hopes of finally resolving this fiasco. My recommendation to future customers: avoid taking your vehicle to any of there locations. Yes, the oil changes may be quick, but the risk of damage--and the lack of accountability if something goes wrong--is simply not worth it. Additionally, their staff is not ASE certified. For the small amount you might save, you're likely better off going to your dealership.
