I asked a simple question - I've got a Subaru Crosstrek and want to know what you're going to do for a 60k checkup and how much will it cost. They verbally told me. However, when I asked for a printout / email / physical mail copy (or someone to read the screen and write it in an email), they said they are "limited by their system". That's no way to get new business, nor is it "customer-centric" (as stated on their website). They may do great vehicle work, but you'll have to "trust them". I brought my car in because the convertible top would not close. The shop had my vehicle for over a month and called me twice saying it was ready for pickup, but both times the issue was not fixed. After the second failed pickup, I was told that two clips were broken and that I would need to pay an additional $1,100. There was no way for me to know whether these clips were already broken or were damaged while the car was in their care, but I felt stuck and approved the repair. When I finally picked up my car, I discovered three scratches on the trunk that went all the way down to bare metal. I know this damage was not there when I brought the car in. When I pointed it out, the employee became defensive and claimed the damage was pre-existing, saying they take photos of all vehicles on intake. When I asked to see the photos, I was then told they "forgot" to take them. Between the long delay, repeated failed repairs, unexpected additional charges, and damage to my vehicle with no accountability, I feel I was treated unfairly and unprofessionally. I now have to address the paint damage myself before it begins to rust. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop. read more

I am currently leaving auto medics and had such a great experience! I foolishly looped my keychain through my key and got it stuck in my car's ignition, I was panicking not knowing what to do and looked up auto repair shops near me and was given auto medics. I pulled into their lovely facility where everything was clean and organized and was greeted swiftly by a nice young man. I was a little panicked and explained my situation and was not made to feel stupid or that I shouldn't have come, they jumped in the car and were quickly able to help fix my problem. I then was guided out of their loading bay by another nice employee and the whole experience was just extremely positive. I've recently moved to St. Augustine, FL, and needed my Florida plates to be installed on the car. Unfortunately, I could not take off the old plate because of rusty screws. My husband brought his car there in January, they had it for four days. Said they fixed a bunch of sensors and other issues. Gave them $3100. Then, after everything was "fixed", they said his icm broke, could be fixed for another $2200. The icm was not an issue when he dropped the car off. They replaced the rotors and brakes on the front, three weeks later, they had to replace the brakes again. 1 month later, brakes are squealing again, asked for refund on just the brake job, won't even return my call. Terrible. Never paid that much money to "fix" a car, only to have more problems than when he started. Took the car to another repair shop, they said the previous shop did such a bad job, the rotors had to be replaced again. read more

The business is a scam. They tell you that your car needs repairs that it really doesn't need. I took my car in because the brakes were not working as well as they had been. They charge me for a brake inspection and tell me my car needs new pads and new rotors on all four wheels. They will do it for about $1600. Crazy! I promptly left and took my car to a certified master mechanic who is also a mechanical engineer. He inspected the brakes and said all the car needed was new pads on the front wheels. He was completely honest and did the work for about $300. The brakes work perfectly now. What a difference! I will never go to Auto Medics again. read more

I used Auto Medics last year and had no problems, except that they kept my truck for 4-5 days. But the problem was fixed then. So when the same problem happened this year, I thought i would give them a call. I made an appointment to have my truck picked back up for the same reason and also to have my brakes checked on 3/18/24 between 8:30-9:00. When no one showed up at 9:30, I called them and was told someone would be at my house to pick it up. It was picked up between 10:00-10:30am. I didn't hear anything for 2 days, so I called and spoke to the owner's son. I was told the technician was still looking it over. I thought it was strange, but said ok, I'll wait to hear from you. By Thursday at 2pm when I heard nothing from this company about the status of my truck, I called and asked about it. After explaining what I was calling about, I was put on hold for 5 minutes, literally, 5 minutes. I was given the status quo answer...the technician is still working on it. When I asked to speak to the owner or the manager, I was put on hold for literally 7 minutes. I was told that the technician hadn't completed the work yet and doesn't know what is wrong. I explained I was there last year for the same problem, the suspension was greased, and then it was fine. I could not figure out why they couldn't find the problem. They kept my truck for 4 days and nothing was fixed at all. I clearly stated my frustration and anger. All Ricardo said to me was, I know, I'm sorry." I told them I wanted my truck back at the end of the work day today. As they close at 6pm, I assumed it would be around 6pm. But he texted me at 8:30pm and said he was bringing it over then. Another text showed inspections results, with 17% completed and pictures of my vehicle from all sides and angles, as if they did something to it, but they did nothing. Not one single fix was completed. Suspension wasn't greased, creaking noise was fully apparent as he drove it into the driveway. I wasn't asking for a list of 10 things to be completed. I wanted 2 things done, check the creaking noise and check my brakes, fairly standard issues. I asked Ricardo how many other cars were worked on while mine sat there? He didn't have any answer. I asked Ricardo why was this allowed to happen? He didn't have an answer. I asked over and over, how this was ok. He said it wasn't, but couldn't offer anything else. What I should have asked him was why did you tell me the technician was working on it after 2 days, when clearly that wasn't the case. That was clearly a lie. This was the MOST unprofessional, waste of my time, I have ever encountered. I could not believe that this actually happened. I told him several times, if I was a man, would this be allowed to happen? I have never been so blatantly blown off by a company in my entire life. I explained I wanted to work with a small business, I respected them. But not anymore. I see all these 5 star reviews, but why wasn't my truck fixed? My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My timing belt broke unbeknownst to me. I was alarmed by the loud screeching noise. I called Auto Medics who to my surprise immediately dispatched a technician to my location who accessed and confirm the problem was indeed the timing belt and related components. I had the vehicle towed to Auto Medics who ordered the parts and quickly repaired and restored my vehicle to its prior glory. Auto Medics' customer service and communication is excellent, the workmanships is just as good if not better than any dealership (I say better) at comparable if not better pricing. Complaint Regarding Faulty Transmission and tune-up that was brought to your service center on November 2, 2023, for a warranty claim on the transmission.Upon your diagnosis, it was determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. After replacing the transmission, your team found it to be faulty, necessitating a second replacement. The car was then kept for an additional week for this second transmission installation.After receiving the car with the second transmission, we experienced significant electrical issues, and the engine began misfiring, sending multiple error codes. We returned the vehicle to your service center on November 20, where we were informed that the spark plugs had been replaced and a tune-up was performed.However, shortly after this, the second transmission failed. We subsequently took the vehicle to Honda of Avenues, where it was determined that the transmission was not installed correctly, and a critical module was not installed, requiring yet another replacement. Additionally, during a further inspection due to persistent misfires, a mechanic in Arkansas discovered that the spark plugs, which were allegedly replaced by your service center, were, in fact, never replaced. This necessitated us paying $622 out-of-pocket for new spark plugs and coils.Given the documented negligence in correctly installing the transmission and the fraudulent claim of spark plug replacement, which has been corroborated by both Honda of Avenues and the mechanic in Arkansas. read more
