This was not happening for me, so I knew it was the fuel pump. After two hours the two truck came to my rescue in the cold and darkness. I brought the car to my home. Then on Monday, I called John's and asked if they could fix my car. I had several friends recommend them. I am so happy that I went there. They have a new customer for life! Pros: Very fair prices on parts and R&R. Nice and trustworthy Owners and Mechanics. Cons:very limited parking space. I let them know when the tow truck was in the way. They made sure he had a good spot to park my car. Recommend? Hell Yes!!!

I took my car to Tubel's because it was steaming due to antifreeze hitting the motor. My car was…read morenot running hot, and it has never overheated before. I was charged almost $400 and told the issue was fixed. About 10 miles after leaving, my car started running hot. I immediately called the shop and was told, "That's strange, it didn't run hot when you brought it in." I had the car towed back. Three days later, I was told the car was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, the car would not start, which has never been an issue before. Again, I was told, "That's strange, it started when I drove it this morning." While driving the car home--less than 10 minutes from the shop--the vehicle began producing heavy white smoke, which I later learned indicates a blown head gasket. My car was returned to me in much worse condition than when I brought it in. I'm not sure what was done to my vehicle, but based on my experience, I strongly recommend doing your homework and getting a second opinion before taking your car here.

I have been taking my Mitsubishi Outlander to Everything Automotive for a few years now. I'm a female and the employees there are always respectfully and go out of their way to help me and care for my situation. The owner himself even came out to talk with me. He's a great guy , honest, and treats me with the utmost respect and is genuinely kind. My first venture with Everything Automotive started when I needed a problem solved thinking it was a electrical issue. I read this repair shop was good and went through the reviews of many shops. I felt comfortable when I called the shop. They are nice and listen to the problem and even told me they could tow my car. I had already gone to 3 other auto shops and spent about $500 at each trying to solve the ongoing code issues. Everything Automotive did a thorough check of my car and found the true problem which was not electrical. The team took the time to call me and explain the issue, the options, and the costs. They fixed my car! I was so relieved. Now I feel safe driving my car again. The cherry on the top of the fabulous service is that ALL their work and parts come with a warranty! I have recommended my parents and neighbors to come to Everything Automotive- it's hard to find a good and honest mechanic and if that's what you're looking for look no further! read more

Let me just start by saying I am super picky when it comes to auto shops. I can't stand going to Auto service shops that try to outsmart, deceit, and steal from their customers. I have gone from place to place sometimes even just asking for quotes to see the crazy and convoluted comparisons. It's funny how you get ridiculous claims that your car needs a laundry list of services and it cost exponential amounts of money. Here at Everything Automotive you have an HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY and REASONABLE team that works with you. When I come I am always greeted by Tony or his sons. I feel welcomed here (that alone makes this place better). I have come here several times and live all the way in Orange Park. I make my drive through traffic and rush hour just because of their prices and customer service. Everything Automotive has helped me so much with my car, I still am in shock. Tony runs his shop with a philosophy built on being honest and fair. The team never tries to outsmart you and will quickly correct any fake quote or claim from other auto shops. I couldn't be more appreciative of Tony and everyone a true Everything Automotive. It's a darn shame we don't have more American businesses like this anymore. I've been driving and dealing with mechanics since the 1980s, and this was easily the best customer experience I've had in over 40 years of car ownership. Why they earned 5 stars from me: Unbeatable Pricing: My 2013 Toyota Prius had major braking issues (ABS and traction control lights glowing). Everything Automotive's quote was roughly $1,500 lower than the dealership quote over the phone! The Experts' Experts: I learned that when the local dealership gets complex Prius jobs they can't handle, they actually send them here. Proactive & Lifesaving Care: During their inspection, they caught that my 12V battery was way past its prime. Swapping it out saved me from being stranded on the side of the road in this brutal Florida summer heat. I have been going to Everything Automotive since they opened their doors. I can't say enough about Tony and the staff. They always do an outstanding job and take excellent care of my car. They explain exactly what they are going to do and how much it will cost before anything is done to the car. They are also honest enough to tell me if can wait. As a woman, this is very comforting and they have always gone above and beyond. They have a comfortable waiting area if you can't just drop off your car. If Tony finds something else that needs to be done, he always talks to me before hand. He, also, goes over everything they do, show me all the part, and even tells me if he sees something that may need attention in the future. I can't say enough about the whole staff and the excellent work they do on my car. There isn't a better auto care business in Jacksonville and in today's world it's nice to find an excellent mechanic that you can trust. A few years back I was searching for a mechanic to take care of my small fleet of vehicles from my place of employment. I searched for at least six months to a year, trying out different places and checking results with other mechanics. I eventually came across "Everything Automotive" on Kings Ave. What a wonderful and pleasing event occured. I had just left a repair shop with a quote in hand, for over $1,000. I had Tony from Everything Automotive take a look at it and to give me his opinion. Over half of the things listed by the other shop did not need to be done. They were fluff items. Fluff items that totaled over $700. I have been going to Everything Automotive since then. My small fleet of vehicles are at Everything Automotive whenever they need something done, no matter how small. They are quick, fair, honest, loyal and treat you like family. I have been so grateful and appreciative of their professionalism on my work vehicles, that I take my personal vehicles to them also. I can't say enough good things about this place. Tony and all the people in the shop are amazing! They are friendly, very kind, Honest and very knowledgeable. Tony is THE nicest man I have met in Jacksonville. I broke down in front of the shop on Beach Blvd. this morning and shaking from the trauma of it, I walked in the office and was greeted by Tony. He knew right away what the problem was. Let me tell you they showed me what was wrong with my car and took care of it promptly they also went over my car to see if anything else was wrong and did a safety check. But the reason I find them so wonderful is the way they treat people. While I was there I witnessed customers come in and out and everyone was treated like a really good friend. I'm glade out of all the places I could have broke down in front of it was there. The pricing is beyond reasonable and very generous. Everything Automotive is now my mechanic, I will never go anywhere else again. This is the only shop I will ever take my vehicles to. Tony has demonstrated genuine care about the condition of my car-making sure the repairs are high quality and affordable. I have referred multiple friends to him and they have all become regular customers. He frequently goes above and beyond for his customers. I experienced car troubles once while traveling and called the shop. Tony trouble shooted over the phone and advised me what to do which ended up saving my a bunch of money. He pprobably saved my life by pointing out faulty brake repairs that a dealership did on a car I bought - he helped me address the problem with the dealership which resulted in the dealership compensating me for their error. Tony refused to take any money from me- he said it was important to him to make sure he helped his customers no matter what their automotive needs were. Thanks everything automotive! read more

Checked out this place for the first time to get the oil changed in Vanna (my van) and was super impressed!! Great customer service, honest, and great prices! As I was paying the gentleman handed me a piece of paper with roadside assistance info, so I asked how much is this a month? and he replied "it's free to my customers, I pay for it." My reply was "well y'all just got a customer for life and I will definitely spread the word!" *Update* Came back again for the second time and still the same great and honest work! My 2016 Chrysler Town and Country had a major knocking sound while on vacation. This was the only place that said they could start diagnosing around 2:00 in the afternoon. They quickly found a cracked flywheel in the transmission. Tony understood we were from out of town, and needed to be able to get home. He and his crew were able to get the full repair within 24 hours and we drove back home to South Carolina that day. We were given a fair price at just south of $2000. The people at Everything Automotive are great. Took my 1983 Mercedes 380SL in for and oil change and they included a free inspection and tire rotation as well. During the inspection it was found that the front end work needed some work and they were honest enough to tell me what exactly was needed and not sell me a bunch of unnecessary parts or extra labor. I can say that this shop is one of the few remaining that is both honest and can repair your car the first time in without having to come back to have repairs redone. Then they said their main office said no to the repairs because they would have to pull the dash to fix it. I took it to Shipman showed them the papers the other had supplied they looked at them put all the data in their computer and came up with a price several hundred lower. I had them do the work, it was ready when promised. They gave me a small retired military discount, plus they didn't need all the parts they thought and took that off the final bill. Honesty, intregrity, and quality. Two months now and it's still nice and cold. I've told family and friends this is the place to go from the git go. Thanks Shipman
