John was honestly a godsend and a great referral for me. He did my timing chain as a side job out of the shop where he works his main job, and I genuinely appreciate both him and the shop for allowing that to happen. Every interaction I had with the other personnel there was also pleasant and respectful, and I would absolutely come back. From the beginning, John's communication, transparency, honesty, and respect went a long way with me. What really sealed the deal was when he offered to let me stay at his home while he worked on my truck because I lived about four hours away. Nobody had to do something like that, and it spoke volumes to me about his character and the kind of person he is. Most importantly, the timing job itself has been great. I've now put roughly 2,000 miles on my truck since the repair and changed the oil twice. There is no timing-related ticking, and she's running beautifully. John also spent additional time troubleshooting a charging-system issue that came up after everything was put back together, which I really appreciated. He also replaced my master window module, which has been working perfectly. My only disappointment came from some of the additional work. While he had the truck, John recommended replacing the belt tensioner and engine mounts. I trusted his judgment and told him to go ahead. My original quote was around $1,100, and I ultimately paid approximately $2,100. I didn't mind paying more because I wanted the truck fixed correctly and assumed the additional parts being installed were OEM or comparable high-quality parts. Unfortunately, the replacement belt tensioner failed shortly afterward and caused my nearly new serpentine belt to shred. The engine mounts were also not installed and were instead given to me. After what happened with the tensioner, I'm hesitant to install those mounts because I don't know their quality or how long they'll last. I reached out to John afterward to let him know what happened with the tensioner but unfortunately never received a response. That was probably my biggest disappointment. I wasn't looking to argue, bicker, or demand money back. I simply would have appreciated some accountability--even something as simple as, "That's on me, bring it back and I'll take care of it," or offering to work something out the next time I needed service. That being said, I want to be fair because the major repair I originally brought my truck to John for was done well. After 2,000 miles, my truck is running reliably again, and I'm very happy with the timing work. I trust John's mechanical ability and appreciate what he did for me, especially accommodating me despite the distance I traveled. I also appreciate the shop allowing him to do the work there, and everyone else I interacted with treated me well. I would absolutely return in the future. I plan on keeping this truck in my family for as long as I reasonably can, and if another major repair eventually comes up, I genuinely hope John is still around because I would consider bringing her back to him. Overall, I'm grateful to John for getting my truck back on the road and dependable again. I just wish there had been better follow-up and accountability regarding the failed tensioner and the additional parts. read more

I had a no start issue with an older vehicle that has stumped me and another mechanic for over five months and the guys here had it running the first week they had it. It took them a little longer to solve an issue that the first mechanic screwed up perhaps due to inexperience on older vehicles. I usually do most of the maintenance and repairs on my vehicle and finding a good mechanic is something I do not have experience in and the first business I took my vehicle to let me down but after I retrieved my vehicle from that business I did more research and took it to this place. They restored my confidence in finding a good mechanic. My lesson learned is if you have an older vehicle, find out if a mechanic has experience in these older vehicles. Then out of the blue they called and said they had a part that they were offering to install for free, spark plugs I think it was. What a great experience! Maybe one of the only honest car repair shops left!!! Took my car in to have a diagnostic done because all the lights decided to come on. Tony told me that it is $100 for a full diagnostic, but if he couldn't fix the issue he would not charge me. Who does that nowadays...nobody! He advised he could probably fix it but would be more comfortable with me taking to a VW dealership that sees these issues everyday, because he didn't want to fix it and it not be perfect. I first brought my old car to Everything Automotive in 2017, when they were in their old location. I found them after searching for a repair shop. Saw good reviews & gave them a chance, other shops try to take advantage of women, They did not. They are reasonably priced and do excellent work. I traded in my old car & bought a brand new car in 2018, it was under warranty and had to bring it to the dealership. Well the warranty ended. Started having a problem, thought it was my engine ( thought it would be covered under power train warranty) dealership wanted $230 to diagnose it. My son told me it had something to do with my wheel. Brought it to Everything Automotive. It ended up being a wheel bearing. Everything Auto was $300 cheaper than the dealership and they don't charge as much for diagnosing. I love their new location! I will tell you they go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied! If you see a customer is not satisfied, they have not talked to the owner Tony. Things as small as a plug for a tire (caused by a roofing nail found when he was doing an oil change and rotating tires) to something as big as helping with a transmission problem. Most of the time the car was fixed the first time around, however if problems started back up I just brought it back in and got it fixed the second time without anymore problems. I should have stayed with the dealership. Took my car in, over $800 later, I still had the same problem. I took it back, had the same problem. They talked me into giving them another chance. HUGE mistake. I've made an appointment at the dealership because now I have more repairs. They broke the hood lever latch and did not put the engine cover back on the vehicle. "WTF, seriously, how can they forget to put that back on!" As for the damaged latch lever, I would not be surprised if that was intentional. I contacted the company and they are denying that they broke the latch and are trying to say that the engine cover was never on the vehicle. The said that I had to take my car back to them so they can fix the latch. Are you kidding me? Anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to get care repairs done, this is NOT the place for you.. Take my AWFUL experience as a sign that you should RUN... My opinion; Liars!! Thieves!! My son and I and our fearless dog, Oscar were traveling South on I -95 from North Carolina to Tampa, Fl. for my daughters wedding, when our mini van broke down!
