On the second busiest shopping day of the year, Saturday after Black Friday, I was stuck over 200 miles from home back in Tampa because the rear end in my 1980 El Camino was out of lube,(my fault for not checking) and about to break down. I needed some help if I was going to make it home. I found Tim's Tech Master listed on google and the cheerful green "open" on the listing. I drove over and met Jesse(the owner) and after hearing my sad story, he stopped working on his wife's car to help me. He said he was actually closed, but her car was on his "Honey do" list, so he was there to fix it. BEWARE ! This is a criminal enterprise . They ruined my Toyota truck and it took 6 months to do it . They put the wrong bolts in wrong holes . Caused my engine to be loud and lots more . I paid over $4000 for a head gasket replacement that failed . When I confronted Jessie , the owner he called police and said he was going to file an injunction to keep me off his lot . All those cars you see are customers . They are cars he hijacks off the roadways then hold them hostage until the owners pay him big bucks . If he keeps them long enough . He can wholesale them out . Not one single mechanic is certified including Jessie . Read your North Jax newspaper next month where I will be running a full page ad telling you the rest of the story . I am giving 5 stars in everything you would want when taking your car in for any engine work to be done. I am always petrified at what they decide to tell me when I walk in as a single female with car issues. I was having trouble starting my car and got a new battery, checked the alternator, the battery sensor and also left it at the Honda dealer overnight, in which they could find nothing wrong! Finally it would not start at all, so I towed it to Tims Tech Master and they said it was the starter and I was already told that the starter was fine. So they put a new starter in, pretty quickly and I was good to go. It starts now without hesitation and I am very happy I have my car good to go again. read more

I was driving my 1989 GMC 1500 from Riviera Beach to north of Boston. I've owned it since new And have always staid ahead of repairs. in key largo I had new exhaust installed so I thought it was good to go. Late Friday the exhaust let go just north of Jacksonville. I pulled off only to find Tims but they were closing. I thought I was stuck for the weekend until they told me to come back first thing Saturday morning. Not only did he repair the problem he pointed out the exhaust shop should have replaced parts with new to do the job correctly. He did, I made it north and it's still running great. If i could give a negative 5 stars i would Had my car towed here back in January after the new year my car needed a new transmission we were quoted 2000 my husband went up there to put a down-payment well they told us they only take cash well we went back in May with 1000 down because we were planning on paying with credit card thats why we had it towed back in January paid 1000 beginning of May they said okay it will be fixed middle of the next week well the next week came never heard anything we called said it would be another week so we waited called again said same thing than we called again than it never heard anything so finally my husband got ahold of someone and they said oh I've been sick and also short staffed have it fixed first of the week so my husband said okay than we got a call from some lady saying oh the price is changing its going to 4195 and she said thats due to the Transmission being a crt mind you they already knew this and they said they also needed to pay thier guy and they told my husband they knocked 900 off for labor since they had the car for so long well when we went to go up there to discuss the matter me nor my husband never got loud with the lady she got rude with me and started cussing. Me out and basically threw my car key at me and told em to get off her fucking property and that they weren't fixing my vehicle for what they originally quoted me for if I was you I would think twice before I would do business with them and they also won't give you a copy of anything that you sign either read more

Only a few words about this place and its team: The best, honest, team, I was traveling from Boston MA to Orlando FL (Full Sail University) my son car broke down by overheating on a SUNDAY (8/30/15) - I called the number on the business building and Jesse pick up the phone, and said: "I am going to send down my best guy to take a look, and see what he can do for you to get back on the road - we are closed on Sunday" (Wow right) James came down and looked at the car, and said you can't make it with a blown head gasket - But I ask him what percent can I make it - "You have less than 1% chance of making it to Orlando, and you will crack the engine if you make it. With my crazy thinking of beating the odds, I told James I'll make it. Guess what - I made it to the gas station 5 miles away before the car started over heating. Now, I am really stuck with an overheated car -I am so far away from Boston, and over 230 miles away from Orlando also very low on money. Long story short, I made a call to James and he heard how stuck I am - he said: "If you can get the car over here we can try to fix it" - For the first time AAA was able to tow the car, and James was able to fix it. You must know this: You are dealing with a team that knows cars better than any dealership, or any box car store repaired place - these guys knowledge run circles around any dealership -- Just ask any one on the team to show you there tool box, and get ready to be amazed. I can tell you they work hard and they get the job done right. They are beyond fair with the price for the work you are getting done. NO ONE CAN do what they do - I will stand on that, and I can bet you that you will never go anywhere else for service. The only thing I can say bad about this place is the outside - It not fancy with flowers and glass doors like a Toyota service place or a Pepboys, or Goodyear - but if you can overlook that, and remember what you are there for -Fix your car or truck --This is the one place I trust 100%...... read more

I have been taking both of my vehicles to Tim's Tech for about 5 years and I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the price. This shop is "no frills" and is run by a guy who can absolutely diagnose and fix literally anything. He doesn't lie to you about what is wrong or about what it will take to fix it. He charges often below what many "fancier" shops charge and most of all, he treats his customers like human beings who know the value of a dollar.
