Going to be very honest with my review. I've lived in Metro Atlanta for a while and still haven't found a good Philly cheesesteak spot. Weeyums was recommended so since I had a day off I took the 30 minute ride to give it a shot There is no indoor ordering or seating. The staff will come to the door or your car and take your order. No big deal I ordered a Philly with cheese & onions. I also asked to add mushrooms on the sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries. It took about less than 10 minutes to get my order. When I got the bag everything was hot and packaged nicely. Agee because they have no seating to eat I took my order to a friends house who lived close by. Upon unwrapping the sandwich I could see it had a good amount of meat which I appreciated, however after biting into the sandwich I was instantly met with a huge glob of Mayo. After inspecting the sandwich more closely I noticed the cheesesteak was drenched in mayonnaise to the point where I had to try and scraped the overkill out of the sandwich. The mushrooms I requested were visibly missing and the meat had zero flavor. Salt and pepper would be nice but I'm not sure if you have to request that. The sweet potato fries were blah and most of it went in the trash. I ate a quarter of the cheesesteak and ended up throwing out the rest due to the overkill in Mayo and lack of flavor. Oh also it's fair to mention the meat was drier than the Sahara. All in all I give this place 2 stars. Maybe their other sandwiches are better but this wasn't it read more

The sub rolls are not authentic Philly Amoroso Hoagie rolls. If you know you know. So there is nothing that tastes Philly authentic tasting about the hoagies (subs) or Steak steak sandwiches at this restaurant. Only authentic from Philly there are the owners. So please don't go there expecting to have an authentic Philly food experience. I am from Philly and sadly I will still be tirelessly searching Atlanta until one day I have one myself! On May 18, 2023 I drove from Dallas, Georgia to get a Philly sub and they told me there closing early because of a family emergency. Isn't their anyone else to run the business is my question. You shut down just because one person has something going on is some bullshit. They need other locations besides just this one. They have no customer service skills at all. I walked into the restaurant only to get told WE ONLY TAKE ORDERS OUTSIDE. You don't have to YELL AT ALL. The food is edible at best. There is virtually no cheese on the CHEESEsteak. And the wait is atrocious. You order online and then you have to wait outside of the establishment for the one girl "waiting cars" to get to you. Online, it says it takes 45 minutes to make a cheesesteak. If that isn't already ridiculous enough, you have to wait another 20 minutes to get your food once you get there. First and last time eating here. read more

Let's start with service, it's the first interaction with customers before they even decide to purchase. The staff ... I think are doing the best they can .. seems to be 2 teens or young guys taking and printing orders and 1-2 chefs. I hate that the customers bombard the few employees with bad attitudes and behaviors and even go as far as to touch the staff without consent. If they had a site manager who could keep the customers calm and the pick-up vs. Placing orders lines separately it may help. I know many people plan to never patronize this business again due to how long the wait is. I personally don't understand the wait as I'm a Philly native and make them much quicker myself ... We ordered at 5:52 and received our meals around 7:30 and the many ppl waiting started to cheer .. that's horrible. Took an hour to get two hoagies and fries. Nothing special about hoagie either and fries were what look d like frozen crinkle cut with little texture. The wait sucked since it was during off hours at 2:00. When there's not many people ordering and they are slower than molasses, better off to just at somewhere else in Stone Mountain. read more

Unfortunately this experience was horrible for this school teacher. I ordered through their website at 11:30AM with total charges of $43.00. My plans were to reward my honor students with a treat of Phiily Steak sandwiches. Now I arrived at Weeyums at 12:00PM and asked for my order. I was told it was not ready and had to wait an additional 30 minutes or more. As an educator with limited lunch time this was totaly unacceptable. I let them I was a teacher and had to be back in class by 12:15PM. The owner and manager stalled and delayed me asking me questions but did not attempt to make the food. At this point is 12;10PM and I have no food, only excuse for the management and owner. I had no choice then but to I ask for my refund of $43. After refunding me they asked if I wanted to reorder and be recharged. Is it crazy or what? There was no effort on thier part to get me the order asap as they had messed up. I arrived back in class at 12:30PM w/o any rewards for my students who were extremely dissapointed. The management here thinks it can get your money with an inefficient online line ordering system and when you show up you they treat you any old way. Now I have to wait days to get my refind back on my card. Ridiculous. I remained calm and left to never return to this business again. Stopped by after picking up a neighbor from work. We figured we'd stop and grab dinner on the way home. Please don't come hungry. Took almost 2 hours to finally get our food. Very unorganized and slow. A poor older gentleman was there and had ordered before we pulled up. After 40 mins of waiting for orders to be processed I had to intervene and ask about his order. Apparently, he had added cheese to his order and it messed up their system. They had even forgot about him. Seems as if they work on online orders better than in person ones. They just recently opened back up after renovations and they really should have stayed closed. Sure it looks a bit nicer but customer is terrible, food quality was sub par and wait time was over two hours. We ordered right here at restaurant and sat in the lot for two whole hours. The icing on the cake was when we opened up our cheesesteaks only to find cold soggy bread wrapped around bland meat. Several other customers standing outside complaining and demanding refunds so we didnt even bother to voice our concerns. You shouldn't text customers a time 6:35pm your food will be ready. I ask about my order at 6:50pm, they tell me you're next on the grill. WTF, you haven't even start cooking it yet? Apparently they cook a bunch of steak at one time. Unfortunately for me I ordered chicken. So they cook chicken all at one time and then steak! Love the fact that I went on a rainy day, so there was no line and the people came to my car to take my order and the delivery was fast. Pleasantly surprised at how huge and filling the sandwiches were the sandwiches were delicious was not a fan of the onion rings. The food is good but know the service will be lacking. I enjoyed coming to this spot because it's black owned and it has really good sandwiches. But this visit will be my last. I placed an order online and it gave me a wait time of 30min. I gave them an hour and upon my arrival my food still wasn't ready. I spoke to the young lady that waits on the customers and she said that the cook just received my order and it will be out soon. At this point I was over it. So be prepared to wait an extra 40+ minutes no matter what you do. The way in which they take orders/ check in is confusing. Sometimes they come to your car and other times they don't.
