Ordered online for pickup. Arrived and went inside at the time the toast email said the food was ready. It wasn't. But there were a ton of people ordering and picking up their food. I waited about ten more mins and my order was ready. We had the Panola Special - smash and chicks - a smash burger, fries, six wings, drink; and the cheese steak sandwich. The patties were well seasoned and not too thin. The bun held up nicely on the trip back home. The fries were still hot a some were crispy. None were soggy. The wings (who dat sauce) were nicely sauced and not overcooked. The cheese steak sandwich was also tasty. The meat was seasoned throughout and the bun and fries held up nicely on the trip home. The peach+lemonade was also good and even better when I added bourbon. I'd definitely order again. As good as our meals were we'll be back for some pasta. Don't expect to dine in when it's busy unless you want to cram in between those waiting for food. I wished the staff called names louder and spoke towards the lobby so they can be heard over the loud music and gathered patrons. Or get a mic or monitor to display ready orders by name or number. I think it would improve the staff and patron experiences. A solid 4.7 for takeout food and value. read more

I stopped by the Hungry AF - Panola location, and it definitely did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the young lady at the counter was friendly, patient, and helpful while I decided what to order. Great customer service goes a long way, and she made the experience even better. I ordered the Chicken Rasta Pasta along with a mix of wings, and both were outstanding. The pasta was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. It was easily the highlight of the meal. The wings were banging too--crispy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how wings should be. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and everything tasted like it was made to order. If you're looking for a spot with great pasta and some seriously good wings, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of the restroom. The bathroom floor was extremely slippery--I actually found myself sliding while walking. I mentioned it to the staff twice because I didn't want someone to get hurt. Hopefully they can address it by mopping with a different cleaner, drying the floor more thoroughly, or placing a non-slip mat near the entrance to help prevent slips and falls. We had wanted Chinese for on the way home but the place recommended to us was closing in 5 min so when we came across this spot, we were more than happy to indulge. So we ordered ahead for pick up. We ordered the Philly steak meal and the chicken hibachi. One thing that stood out was they open and show you your plate before sending you off, I thought that was a wonderful gesture and business practice--speaks to their confidence! He said it was very packed in there, and I had no doubt bc when he put the food in the car it smelled divine. Like, I understand why they're there lol. The Philly was sooooo good. It was so savory and flavorful, I loved the cheese sauce even though it made some parts of the bread a little soggy. The fries had some type of delicious special seasoning I assume, but I didn't love the fry on em--maybe it was the oil? Crispy tho! I tasted his chicken hibachi and somebody put the foot in that chicken! It was grilled and seasoned perfectly. The rice was just OK, a tiny tiny undercooked. All in all, we'd return! read more

Quick service, excellent taste and excellent price point too! I'd definitely go again. Only downside is the space maybe too small as there are lots of boxes stored visible to patrons waiting in their orders. Maybe some consideration on storing in a nearby space. Food is good. Trea Young wings are good but often fried a bit hard. Service is meh at best. Everyone wants to be cool and present that nonchalant attitude. You can take that to the outhouse as I'm particular whom I pay to blow me off. How abt a proper greeting bc I and others didn't come in door you wouldn't have a job! I've been to Hungry AF a few times between this location and Decatur, and their wings are a standout. I usually skip the combo and go for a 10-piece. I've tried multiple flavors now, and honestly, they've become one of my favorite wing spots. The wings are a great size--almost comparable to Publix's--and the quality matches the price. I can't comment much on the fries since I rarely get the combo. The locations are usually packed, especially with delivery orders flying out, but overall, it's consistently good. I made a late run on a weekday and ordered the Smashburger. Based on the website, I expected to pay about $13 and some change which I thought was a bit expensive. However, upon arriving, they actually had a special that came with fries, and a drink which was about $10! The fries were excellent.. hot and fresh! The Smashburger was also very, very tasty. The meat was of quality and the burger was delicious! I would have given 5 stars, but I took a star off because they had no ketchup packets. Definitely the best burger around! read more

I went to get groceries at Publix and always forget they have a location here. I have only been to the location on Candler and it's not my favorite or a go to. I was running around all day handling last minute tasks before the holiday, and had not eaten all day. I wanted something quick. I went in and the young lady at the front was very nice. Great customer service all around. I never get the drinks made from these places because I have no clue where the water for the drinks comes from. She assured me they use filter bottle water so I took her word for it. I mixed the blue and peach lemonade. It was sweet as expected. I had to add water and lemons to it at home and it was perfect. The food was ok, kind of salty which I cannot handle. But, I would definitely recommend and I would go back myself to try something else. I pretty much tried everything at the other locations menu when they 1st opened before deciding I didn't like it, will give this location the same courtesy and support purely because they are nice. read more

Stopped here to charge my car and noticed it across from the Tesla Supercharger station...Customer service was amazing! Food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and seasoned to perfection! As you can see in the picture i was smashing it! I decided to get the smash in action since i ordered the smash burger which is called the "Panola Special " im Haitian so i had the Kodak mango habanero wings that bussssss so hard included fries and drink for 16.19 not bad because this meal was really good couldn't finish it all ! A week ago, I sat in the lobby of KFC on Panola Rd with about six other people waiting on chicken to be cooked and ready. Two weeks ago I stood in McDonalds as two customers began to argue over a parking spot and one proceeded to throw punches, IN THE FRONT of the counter. Three weeks ago I made a huge mistake even thinking Burger King would be a viable option. Too long to even go into. But, about eight hours ago, (amid huge doubts), I stepped into the Hungry AF shop on Panola Rd. It was not packed as I had witnessed a few days earlier so I decided today was the day. The space was quiet as a few people stood by waiting for their order. Then it started to fill up. Lots of Uber Eats and Door Dash orders were being scooped up. The mood was cool and light in the media covered order area. I picked out my order and chose The Panola Rd Special (a double patty smash burger with fries and a jerk chicken Philly with fries. I ordered a coke thinking it w as a fountain drink and they hit me with the 12ounce can (Not Good) I wasn't starving and decided I would wait until dinner to even try it thinking it would be okay at best. Also, I never read reviews before I visit a spot because I want my results to be exclusively unbiased. It's 11:43 and I'm sitting here pissed ALL THE WAY off. Pissed off because I didn't order THREE MORE of these Jerk Chicken philly cheese steaks. The burger was so filling I couldn't even eat all the fries which, there were enough for at least two people to have a sizeable portion of food in one plate. The smash patties on the burger were huge and seasoned perfectly, the cheese melted well, topped off with a small heap of freshly chopped white onions with an amazing sauce. Kinda like a chipotle sweet mustard kinda of flavor but amazing on the burger topped with those fresh butter pickles. The Jerk Chicken, tasted straight off a grill "IN Negril!!". Seasoned to perfection with the perfect heat and spices, coupled with grilled red peppers and white onions, spread out on a perfectly toasted Philly roll, then topped with cheese. It's so good and ion even remeber what kind of cheese it was but it was amazing. I swear the next time I go, I'm buying three. That's a great lunch for at least a couple days a week for three people. "Me Myself and I" Straight up though, the food tastes amazing. I can't wait to try some of the other things they have to offer. Def going back soon. Five stars, two thumbs up, Great Job Hungry AF.
