Main St. I was invited here to bowl, but I'll pass and just watch, I'm not much of a bowler at all. But I will take advantage of the snack bar offerings! I can eat while I watch the other people bowl. They have appetizers like chili cheese fries and the like or nachos and stuff like that. I went for a Cheeseburger and fries ($12.99) and a drink. It didn't take long to cook up and it was pretty decent. I had no idea what to think of bowling ally food before this. The fries were hot and crisp and the burger tasty as well, so all's good in my book. They also have pizza and salad here if you want that. Watching my friends bowl, I think knocking down all the pins on the first roll is harder than it looks! Even with a second roll!

I figured it may as well share my experience now since I am reminded of it every time I drive by this place. My girlfriends and I were harassed by a league bowler while eating, we tried to be polite until he started commenting on our body's. We tried to (again politely) tell him we were trying to eat and didn't want to chat at which point he stayed "I knew y'all were gonna be a bunch of bitches" before finally leaving us alone. After we finished eating we went into the bar for a drink and to avoid another situation from the same man and were met with a new one. We chatted briefly with 2 guys, one then offered to buy us a shot. The guys friends started interrogating us making sure his friend wasn't "getting taken advantage of". We then said 'ya know what, no problem, no thanks' and continued to be harassed and argued with by them same guy while waiting for the drinks we already ordered. The bartender who was serving us was watching and saw what was happening and when she served us our drink instead of helping said "just so you guys know, these are really good guys". We left. I haven't been back and won't come back without my husband or a male friend to avoid unwanted attention from the regulars. Honestly I still probably won't come back. I'm on a lot of Burney pages and everyone is always talking about how to save the town and how to make the town thrive... maybe make it welcoming and safe for the people who want to participate in community and spend there money there. I know the business is responsible for the behavior of the people who patronize their place but when even the bartender won't have our backs women to women there's a huge problem. It makes me so sad this is the only place in town you can really go and hang out or socialize. Hopefully something new and more welcoming will come along. 2 stars only for the cook, he was the genuinely nicest person we encountered and made good food.
