I lived on Gold Street right down the hill behind the old shop. I moved back to the area about a year ago and things have changed and two locations later theyre now on Hilltop right around the corner from my house... Again... We (The company I work for) just recently partnered with The Darkside to bring a Skate event to the North state and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with Bruces professionalism and am proud to say that this is a place that I have shopped at for most of my adult life. Do I miss the old locations? Sure. The East side of Pine location was small, humble and cozy and I never felt unwelcome. When they took over the building after The Underground went Kaput everyone was excited to see what they would do with the space. Now on hilltop they have expanded into a skate shop as well. When I drive to work in the morning and pass by the Darkside and I see the Mural on the wall, I remember I'm Home.

He showed us a Kona mountain Fire that was beautiful and exactly what we were needing. We also went to other bike shops but nobody showed the hospitality and customer skill that Randy has. We are very happy with our purchase. We got our son the Kona mountain bike and we didn't end up paying over a thousand dollars. Which I noticed at other bike shops either you were going to spend $500 or $2000 for a decent bike, no real middle ground.
