One thing to keep in mind is that you can not bring any outside drinks into the seating area. I take my bottle of water and the employees store my bottle behind the counter in the front. Not a big deal, I just have to go to the front to get a drink. I do wish they played more games on the rink, I have only seem them play games one time since I have been roughly five times. I like the music selection and if you recommend a song to the DJ, they might play it. They luckily played my song that I asked for. I lived on Gold Street right down the hill behind the old shop. I moved back to the area about a year ago and things have changed and two locations later theyre now on Hilltop right around the corner from my house... Again... We (The company I work for) just recently partnered with The Darkside to bring a Skate event to the North state and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with Bruces professionalism and am proud to say that this is a place that I have shopped at for most of my adult life. Do I miss the old locations? Sure. The East side of Pine location was small, humble and cozy and I never felt unwelcome. When they took over the building after The Underground went Kaput everyone was excited to see what they would do with the space. Now on hilltop they have expanded into a skate shop as well. When I drive to work in the morning and pass by the Darkside and I see the Mural on the wall, I remember I'm Home.

He showed us a Kona mountain Fire that was beautiful and exactly what we were needing. We also went to other bike shops but nobody showed the hospitality and customer skill that Randy has. We are very happy with our purchase. We got our son the Kona mountain bike and we didn't end up paying over a thousand dollars. Which I noticed at other bike shops either you were going to spend $500 or $2000 for a decent bike, no real middle ground. I really don't have a big complaint about the store itself - the selection is decent and most of the staff are pretty friendly and offer to help when they see you. My big complaint is their sales ads which I receive via email several times a week. They put the same items on sale month after month, and the discounts are sometimes so insignificant they're not worth paying attention to. When they do offer some "hot buy" at a great price you'll find that they have zero inventory at the local store and it won't be available for shipping ( it happened to me today). I'm sure they intentionally do this to get you in the store in the hopes that you'll buy something different because the item you came for is not in stock or can't be ordered. It's basic bait and switch tactics which is just insulting. I find myself buying more and more online which I lothe to do but when I can order the same items online from a store that actually has the items in stock for a cheaper price, and they generally arrive the next day, it's too easy. If Sportsman's Warehouse wants to keep my business they need to play straight and not waste my time.
