Couldn't be a better experience. We spoke to Dan (his name is Dan Geer - aka Danger), who said he would stick around after the store closed so we could get fuel for our camping trip. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He showed us the gear he had on special order, made some recommendations on where to explore in the area, and helped us get our camping fuel long after his store closed. We had an excellent trip thanks to Dan. Highly recommend getting gear here if you're hiking or backpacking in the Lassen/Redding/Shasta area.

We drove up from Livermore and spent the night in Redding and showed up at the Fly Shop the next morning to meet our guide Shane. Although I own enough fly fishing gear myself to stock a small store I didn't want to lug it all on the plane but Shane provided all the gear we needed - rods, reels, flies etc. I asked Shane to focus on my grandson and he was a big help in upgrading my grandson's skills. He hooked numerous rainbow trout and landed a few which were carefully handled and released by Shane.
