I lived on Gold Street right down the hill behind the old shop. We (The company I work for) just recently partnered with The Darkside to bring a Skate event to the North state and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with Bruces professionalism and am proud to say that this is a place that I have shopped at for most of my adult life. Do I miss the old locations? Sure. The East side of Pine location was small, humble and cozy and I never felt unwelcome. When they took over the building after The Underground went Kaput everyone was excited to see what they would do with the space. Now on hilltop they have expanded into a skate shop as well. When I drive to work in the morning and pass by the Darkside and I see the Mural on the wall, I remember I'm Home.
