This is a great bowling alley. When we are bored playing tourist we play with heavy balls and aim at the pins. I personally have had a lot of fun at this place. We stay until the place closes and then head back to friends house to jump into the motor home and vegetate. My experience is great and I have had a lot of fun every time we have come up to visits friends and we enjoy throwing balls carefully in our own lanes. The price isn't outrageous. read more

We took our grandchildren here on Saturday for a couple of hours of bowling, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The kids had an absolute blast, and we felt very well taken care of the entire time. The staff was exceptionally helpful and attentive. They made sure everything the kids needed was set up and ready, and they came by periodically to check on us and see if we needed anything. That level of service really stood out. The lanes have been redone recently. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. It made the whole experience feel polished and welcoming. We also appreciated the food options. The pizza and pitcher of soda combo was perfect for snacking while we played and kept everyone happy and energized. As a bonus, I booked our time slot through their website and was able to get a winter discount, which was a nice touch and very easy to do. Overall, this is a great spot for family fun. I can see why bowling ally's are going out of business. I called before leaving our house to see what their hours were. They said they were open until 11 tonight. What they failed to mention, is that no lanes would be open until nine tonight, mind you it was 1:30 in the afternoon. Over priced, under staffed, management seems to acknowledge the problems, but doesn't follow through to actually fix the problems. Bowling used to be worth the cost, now it's become worse price gouging than movie theater popcorn. And what the hell is up with your "holiday prices?" That's a scam and you know it. You need to post the prices clearly and stop charging $6 for a damn soda. Management has seriously lost touch with reality. They'll probably respond with "we'll look into it," but not change a thing. It's a shame to see this place evolve into a shiny turd, since I've been coming here for the last 30 years. The staff were great, the prices weren't and you feel entrapped. In the past ten years, I've seen the bowling industry decline to the point where there were several undesirables in the bowling alley. Now, I know a shift; bowling has become a high-end entertainment option. This comes with a high-end price tag. To take your family bowling will cost you $300 to $500 for a two-hour experience, one lane, 5 players. Keep in mind this includes food and beverages. I suffered from a little bit of sticker shock. I will note that the service was excellent and the staff was amiable. I did get the feeling that the staff was operating in fear of management only because they seemed afraid of complaints and criticism, maybe micromanaging, and a generous tip made them very uncomfortavle. I wish I could remember the name of the young man who is the supervisor because he made our experience pleasant. read more

Long wait for a lane on a Friday night and then had to bowl in the dark with lights from giant TV screens flickering. Also had unruly kids running back and forth through our lane. I was told to come before 5 if we wanted lights on. However they did refund our money when we decided not to play our last game (you pay in advance.) Absolutely love coming here for date night. They have a full bar, amazing mozzarella sticks, and the best arcade available in chico. The staff is always accommodating and efficient. I understand that it's COVID times, but $6.99 per person per game is a little steep. We had 3 people and it cost us just under $59 for 2 games with shoes on a Saturday night. They did renovate this place since it was AMF Orchards, but the lanes still have older technology as far as bowling alleys go. We had a few times where the pins weren't set correctly and even balls stuck in the return once. We had to call to get the balls returned. Also, they charge you $1 for the card to play arcade games and they are pretty expensive. We also didn't get any of tickets we won from ticket games on the card when we went to redeem. A group of friends and myself went for unlimited bowling and had THE BEST TIME. We had a server who would bring us our drinks and food directly to the lane(she was fantastic) and the manager was so funny and encouraging even when we got a little loud and had a few too many drinks. When I originally got there and paid for the bowling and shoes I was overcharged for two pairs (my fault for not clarifying) and the situation was handled perfectly. They were all so polite and I got $15 worth of coupons for next time for the inconvenience. At one point I even knocked over a glass and Max(the manager) came over to clean it up for us and had a great attitude about it. I go bowling here every so often but now it is going to be a much more regular thing! read more

We recently reserved a space for a kids birthday party. The facility was clean and well maintained but my rave is for my assigned helper Matt. He was world-class! He ensured our party ran smoothly and effortlessly. I always felt well informed and taken care of. We had surprise guests, and he was able to add them on to our package quickly and discreetly. 10/10 would recommend a bowlero reservation purely because of him. My husband wanted to celebrate his birthday in Bowlero. We were expecting around 24-25 people so we made reservations online the day before to ensure we have enough lanes. We also called ahead of time to let them know what we had 2 separate bookings (they only let you reserve for 12 people at a time) and would appreciate it if all the lanes were together. When we got to the bowling alley, they didn't find one of our reservations. Thankfully Adam took down the reservation confirmation I received and worked everything out. He made sure that all the lanes were together and checked in with our group throughout the night to make sure everything was going smoothly.
