Foothills Bowl - Enjoying the glow lights and a Friday night.

The Lounge at Foothill Bowl is an absolute gem in Auburn!…read more I have to admit, I never even stepped foot in the bowling alley itself, I only visited the lounge, and I had such a great time that I didn't feel like I missed out on a thing. The vibe is fantastic. It feels like a true local hangout, warm, lively, and welcoming. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and on top of everything. Even when the place was packed on a Friday night, service was quick and smooth. One of the bartenders even flattered me by calling me "honey," which instantly made it feel like home. That kind of genuine, down to earth hospitality really stands out. The beer was cold and frosty, exactly what you want after a long day, and the pizza was seriously delicious. Add in a TouchTunes jukebox and a full crowd of happy locals, and you can tell this is a well loved, popular spot. I was staying right across the parking lot at the Foothills Motel, and the 10 percent discount I got at the bowling alley was a really nice bonus. If you're in Auburn and want a fun, relaxed place to grab a drink, enjoy some great food, and feel like part of the community, The Lounge at Foothill Bowl is the place to be. I'll definitely be back.

Clean and bright with comfy couch like seats at each lane. The floors were bright and look brand new. It was very refreshing to bowl at an alley that didn't have technical issues, meaning our ball never got stuck and nor did the pins. It wasn't busy at all on the Thursday afternoon when we went and we ended up staying for 3 hours. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came pretty quickly and was quite good. On the screens they advertised meal deals and bowling deals that I wouldn't be opposed to going back and trying. Every staff member that we came on contact with was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time here and are looking forward to coming back.

And is on the same floor as the Casino. It's really close to the parking garage. The temperature is warmer than the Casino and make it more pleasant. I don't belive you can smoke in the apex. I didn't even see anyone vaping either. Soon as we walked in the Apex we spotted the food court. They have really good deals on food and drink. There is no need to go to the steakhouse or Buffett if you are just looking for a quick meal of burgers or pizza or the like. In Addition this is a quick alternative if you don't want to waste time eating as you are more into playing games or gambling or watching a sporting event. $6 for a beer, $3 for a soda and $9 for a personal pizza. They have tacos, wings, burgers, salads and much more. All reasonably priced. See photo for pricing details. They have a nice looking sports bar with a full bar in the center and lots of tv screens and a giant ticker wraps around the room. They have DJ trivia Wednesday nights at 7pm. They offer hurricane slushy drinks and Kings drink specials. Behind the Sports bar they have virtual golf that looked fun. We saw 2 people playing. They even had the whole set of gloves in a bag. Next time we have to play golf. In the arcade we saw some people having fun in a virtual reality ride. The ride was swinging them all over as they looked thought there virtual reality googles. The arcade has lots of arcade games (like Mario and Harlow, motorcycle and car driving games.), pinball machines, and a giant claw machine. We didn't try any games on his trip. They have indoor Go-cart races that require you to wear a helmet. The track is all lit up with neon lights. It's a pretty big course from what I can see. Six people were exiting the course when we walked by. They were all excited, filled with adrenaline and chattering about the good time they had. Lastly they have a bowling alley, it was pretty big, but not big enough to hold a private event there and have free bowling at the same time. When we were there it was being used by a private event. They have 18 interactive lanes. SUN - FRI UNTIL 5PM | $40/HR PER LANE and FRI 5PM - SAT | $45/HR PER LANE. Pricy, but I think that's still around the price of our bowling alley is back home. Shoe rental is $5 and if they have socks on hand it's $3. This looks like a really fun place to hang out and store your kids for a few hours while you gamble. It is expensive though and all of the machines take their cash card, like the casino rewards card they have a card system so there is no spontaneity when it comes to wanting to play a single game or two. This is how our BlVD is back home in Sacramento and probably how Dave and Busters is so it's not uncommon, but I prefer putting cash in a machine. When you pay cash you aren't committed to using a certain amount or making sure you have the right amount on your card. I really avoid these places do to this. Back in SF you can go to the Musee and it's a cash business. That's more my style. Next time my husband said we're skipping the Buffett and eating here or the steak house. Though once he sees the prices of the steak house, we'll be coming here for a burger.

The Bowling area has been freshly updated with new equipment, new lighting, tons of TV's, and comfortable furnishings. The Halftime Bar & Grill has been closed and turned into the pool table area. This area also holds a dance floor and bar area. This area is still under renovation for future additions. Looks like some beer brew vats are in the back now, so maybe a local brew pub is likely booting up here. Hot honey chicken sandwich was good. Friends had burgers, pizza, and wings as well. There are lemonades, sodas, wine, beer, mixed cocktails, and full bar available. Food is either available at the food bar, or delivered to the bowling lanes, or the tables by the bowling lanes. Be watchful of Mandatory Service Charges on food and drinks. It will affect your bill significantly. Low inventory on drinks as per bartender. On a Saturday night?? Odd. Someone vomited in the stall, and it was not cleaned nor closed off. It was not cleaned up until someone almost fell because the floor was slippery and in shambles. It was totally disgusting. We had to literally clean off the area of the bowling location we chose. The dirty dishes were everywhere. Witnessed a lot of children sitting around the bar area. Not good. Total amount of excursion; For 8 people in our party bowling plus shoes; $ 195.00 For all that money paid, I'd assume we could get better quality service and options of drinks. $ NOT INCLUDING DRINKS & FOOD & extra fees mounted on.

We were welcomed by friendly staff, who quickly got all 8 kids their bowling shoes and set us up on 2 lanes. They asked if we needed any accommodations like the bumper or a kids ramp.
