Great sports bar for watching a game and grabbing a beer. Lots of cool arcade games for kids. If you need food don't come here. They ran out of "chicken". Tried ordering the pesto chicken wrap and they had no chicken. All the food isn't cooked fresh, it's reheated microwaved food.

I'm torn on this one because well they have a lot going on. I really don't feel like there's a ton of value to be had here unless you hit it on a day where there is a special discount. Four stars is generous given the value proposition here. The games and attractions are on the pricey side, the games don't pay out well, and you end up dropping a good amount of money to leave with a less than awesome item from the redemption store. As far as the space itself, it's super rad. Big, clean, lots to see and do, but again, a small fortune to experience it. We were staying on property and discovered Apex and it made our little arcade going hearts happy even as adults. We love seeing the array of new coin, pushers, and skill base arcade games available, along with the claw machines that had a lot of cool licensed fun inside. We also enjoyed watching people do the VR, but it looked a little too crazy for us. The screens run a series of promotions and we landed there on a game day, which meant five dollar margaritas at the bar and that was well worth it however it was a little bit challenging to get them because the staff was confused as to whether or not it was on, and the sign clearly said any Weekdays where there are games they offer it and it didn't have any other stipulations so I was happy when the bartender eventually honored it. The drink itself was solid. Not too sweet not too sour and it tasted like they use a decent tequila. The arcade games looked good but they did not pay out tickets very well. For 100 bucks we had about 2200 tickets which seems very low considering how much we put through these coin pushers, the number of towers we knocked over and the bonuses we saw that we won. The tickets go very far in the redemption store and frankly, we probably should've had a lot more and I don't understand why it was such a low number. Staff was quick to help with any issues and they were helpful in guiding us into the different options that we had. The space is huge inviting and has a lot to offer with the VR and go karts attached plus the golf simulators, full bar and restaurant food available make this a great stuff if you're on property or just passing through.

We went here to see what all the talk was about. I see the signs advertised by the side of freeway all the time. It didn't quite live up to the hype. Everything is pricey, which is expected of a casino. It was $35 for one race per person (unless you had a group and did a group rate). The claw machines used too many tokens compared to the other games. The go-cart racing is three stories tall! You are given a helmet to use when racing. The go carts were not the most user friendly. You really had to put force into making turns with your arms. This is not meant for anyone with a knee injury or limited mobility. The arcade was small but they did have my favorite arcade game there - break the plate. A few of their games weren't working when we visited. The arcade on a different floor (that's more kid friendly) has a better game selection. My favorite part of the apex was the bowling alley. They have a cool lounging area in the front. The bowling balls are designed like pool table balls. They have cubbies at each lane for shoes and bags. The cubbies even have outlets to charge phones! The bowling games have different set ups. There's the standard bowling game and other options. One was points based on how many pins you hit, and everyone in your group gets one roll per turn. The food in the bowling area was good too. The pita bread was amazing! They had a nice selection of food items on their menu. Each bowling lane has an area for food and drinks. Overall it was a unique experience. The go-cart racing was a let down for me. The arcade was small but had some good games in the mix. Their bowling alley was a lot of fun and the main thing I would want to go back for.

WHY WE WENT HERE: - niece's 7th birthday party THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in the Red Hawk Casino - parking garage is free and we were situated nearby the elevator THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - elevator clearly indicates the button to push to access the floor that The Apex is located on - pleasantly surprised with The Apex! in a nutshell it made me think of Dave & Buster's + K1 speeding and add a food court and bowling alley, but make everything elevated EXPERIENCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE: - all the kids and some of the adults really enjoyed the bowling, go-kart racing, pizza party, and arcade bundle

My 10 year old loved this place! We always have a great time with the games, race cars and bowling! We come a couple times out of the year for our daughter to enjoy! It's a great place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions! Food is not too bad as well! What's great is the adults can have some fun not too far away! We highly recommend this place for kids and adults to enjoy!

This is definitely a hidden gem of El Dorado County. We've stopped in to see the Apex when we've been at the casino and it's always been SO busy. My son had a birthday party here a few months ago on a Saturday evening and it was (again) super busy and seemed almost chaotic. We were here today to celebrate our son graduating . Today is a Tuesday and we arrived around 4:00 - 4:30. The place was empty and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.... Until the evening crowd started to come in. Our family was the only ones on the karts which was amazing. We did an adult race and a junior race. Our youngest wasn't tall enough to ride yet. The karts are really fun. I would definitely say I'd need more than one race to get the hang of it. We had the cameras on our helmets and the video is awesome to watch. Bowling was really fun and it was our 4yr olds first time bowling. We ordered food and ate it while bowling. The fries were great and my son really liked the pepperoni pizza. I had the steak tacos, our oldest son had the birra flat bread and my husband had the wings. If you get drinks, there are no refills- but the attendant told us to take the cups and fill them up in the casino (someone 21+ of course) because then you get free refills. The virtual reality rollercoaster was a HIT for my family. I'm sure we will be back to ride every option that it has. My tips: wear closed toed shoes for the go karts, bring your own socks for bowling (so you don't have to buy some to go with the bowling shoes), also go on a weekday if you have a family and don't want to feel all the chaos of crowds. Videos and more reviews will be on my IG @ raising4harrisons

Hi-ya! Wow this place is really amazing. I guess in July they have sales going so the cart racing was $25/ per person instead of $35 and bowling was $5/ person + $5/ shoes. The kids had a lot of fun the, entire venue was top notch and prices during the time we went were so reasonable. We couldn't smell any smoke and the other patrons were polite were respectful. The place so clean, and lots of customer service reps and all friendly. The food was good too, except pizza was ok. The chicken strips were good loaded nachos so tasty.

    Large entertainment complex!

It was very refreshing to bowl at an alley that didn't have technical issues, meaning our ball never got stuck and nor did the pins. It wasn't busy at all on the Thursday afternoon when we went and we ended up staying for 3 hours. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came pretty quickly and was quite good. The vibe is fantastic. It feels like a true local hangout, warm, lively, and welcoming. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and on top of everything. Even when the place was packed on a Friday night, service was quick and smooth. One of the bartenders even flattered me by calling me "honey," which instantly made it feel like home. That kind of genuine, down to earth hospitality really stands out. The beer was cold and frosty, exactly what you want after a long day, and the pizza was seriously delicious. Add in a TouchTunes jukebox and a full crowd of happy locals, and you can tell this is a well loved, popular spot. I was staying right across the parking lot at the Foothills Motel, and the 10 percent discount I got at the bowling alley was a really nice bonus. If you're in Auburn and want a fun, relaxed place to grab a drink, enjoy some great food, and feel like part of the community, The Lounge at Foothill Bowl is the place to be. I'll definitely be back.

What does one do to avoid the heat on the weekend? Bowling!…read more I can't even remember the last time I went bowling. It has been years! I'm happy to find and visit Bowlero North Sacramento for the first time. We visited on Saturday morning because they were running a special, $12.99 unlimited bowling from 11 AM to 3 PM. It was 4 of us and we each played 3 games. Such a great deal! There is a small arcade area by the entrance. A bar and one pool table in the back. You can order food and drinks from the small food station. We had breakfast before bowling and didn't have the chance to try their food. Honestly, I don't have high expectations for food at bowling alleys. We were in lane 32. There are only 3 seats in the sitting area but you can also sit by the bar stools behind the lane. The lane next to us was empty so we were able to spread out. It would be tight if they place someone else next to us. I like the screens that run across with back wall with different channels (news, sports, etc.) I was entertained while waiting for my turn. We didn't have any technical problem during this visit. Our ball didn't get stuck and everything ran very smoothly. We had a great time! The bathroom is a little run down but well maintained. I don't like the dim red tint lighting but I get why they have to keep the lighting this way. The parking lot is pretty big and didn't have any problem with parking. They are right next to In-Shape Fitness. With this great deal, I will definitely be back soon.

As of Spring 2026 I've joined a seasonal bowling league at Capitol Bowl in West Sac which continues for the summer. Some of my fellow bowlers practice at this Bowlero and suggested to try it out. They have a summer season pass good through 9/1, but what caught my eye was the Endless Summer Nights which is Sun from 6pm and Mon-Thu from 7pm to closing (11pm) unlimited games, shoe rentals included, for $17.99 per person. Walk-in only, pending availability, no fees per game or lane timers. Huge parking lot shared with In-Shape Fitness. Upon entrance there were some arcade games, a kids bowling lane area (~10 dedicated lanes), and the counter is to the left. Restrooms also on the left, with the bar and some pool/billiards tables to the right. There were two registers available to get bowling lane assignments and any rental shoes. Got Lane #40 furthest right by the WOW wall, and one thing I noticed was that if you weren't in the league bowling, your lane was dimly lit (not quite cosmic/glow bowling effect?) and the TV/projector screens tended to reflect heavily on the oily lane. They were showing cartoons/movies like the Smurfs, MLB Baseball and other sports. These pins do not have string setters like they do at Capitol or BLVD! The ball return had zero issues. They did have some food specials like a pizza and a pitcher, and they do have starters, shareables, fries, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, pizza, and a couple of desserts. Drinks like craft lemonade, Pepsi products, iced tea, Gatorade, Red Bull, Beer, Wine, Cocktails too. Tried an order of the Bavarian pretzel sticks with cheese, and the chicken tenders, and some Mountain Dew. Took a bit of time to arrive but service was good, and cleanup when some of the ranch dressing spilled on the floor too, whoops. Endless Summer Nights started at 7pm but I would say we only bowled really from 9pm-11pm and got 4 or so full games in. There is only the monitor overhead and not built into the ball return. Pins were random multicolor (like 8 white, 1 red, 1 green). Chairs and table at the lane, with additional barstools facing the bar. The house balls shelves are labeled by weight but were pretty mixed up by colors and grip sizes. The vibe overall was alright. National Bowling Day is this Saturday August 8th, and there will be Family unlimited bowling from 11am-6pm for only $6.50 (50% off!).
