I put my name on a wait list. 20 min later, I noticed many people had returned their skate assists. There were probably 6 of them behind the desk. At one point the girl said "you're welcome to walk around out there with your own child" I have a hurt shoulder and a prosthetic hip, otherwise I would've :( Long story short, my son sat on the bench next to the skate rentals, waiting for his turn on the wait list, fighting back tears. In the 45+ min we waited, no one from the wait list ahead of us collected a single skate trainer. And we were repeatedly told we couldn't use one. The lady said her animals dos that sometimes, she only had one more animal she could trade out which also had steering problems and was bumpier ride...so we opted to try that one- she then made the statement that once we chose an animal we need to stick with it and it was the last time she would ever let us trade out an animal. As if it was our fault her animals were broken. She also mentioned that they are used so much that the batteries don't hold charge so if they didn't work it was out of her control.
