They close up to a hour early at times Twice in the last 3 weeks have I came by with in 45 minutes or close and the gates been locked It's currently 5:30pm and I'm trying to call in and no one picks up I guess when your the only range around people are gonna come anyway so quality of service doesn't matter read more

Thought I'd write a review since the ones I see here are a few years old. Skyway is still open and they are keeping it up pretty well. The golf shop has no equipment to sell anymore, however. They have recently put in some new mats on the range and bought some new balls. The course is in very playable shape, in spite of the many rounds it gets daily. If you practice a lot, my advice is to buy a discount pass of 10 large buckets for $80. That will save you some bucks, and its much easier to just punch your ticket and give you tokens. read more

This is a fun place no matter what your skill set is. You can hit the balls at the driving range or play the six hole course for cheap. They staff is laid back just as the course is also. I have been there in flip flops and no shirt on really hot days and never got hassled. They are cheap and easy to find going up the Skyway. I often would go here after work and meet some friends to release stress or hang out. They have some beers and at one point if you bought a large bucket of balls you got a beer with it. We went here based on the previous Yelp reviews. The course seems well kept for six holes. The driving range needs some new pads and mabey a cover for some shade. Counter girl seemed nice at first but that turned when we wanted to drink our own beer on the course. We even offered up a simple corking fee but....no dice. We finally bought a few of their beers. We know what to do next time. Some of the local college team snobs were at the range when we wrapped up. funny watching them strut around like big fish in a very small pond. The pro shop was well stocked with over priced golf stuff. We played two rounds and over all had a great time and will go back soon. 8-30-18. 5 out of 6 greens are virtually un-playable with brown patches and poor mowing. The once nicely stocked pro-shop is vacant of inventory. Bucket of balls ..... $11 ??? WTF ?!? ARE YOU KIDDING !?! Fairways are tall and weeds grow around all bases of trees. Had my mom's weekend my sorority here. Place is far. Food is okay, not that good. They ran out of food for my poor younger sisters and moms :( not very professional and per a head was expensive. Disappointing! Golf course was nice, parking lot was whack it was gravel, c'mon chico put a little more class! read more

Course is in good shape. Fun little 6 hole course. We usually play two rounds. Priced well for a quick getaway to get some play in. The staff is kind, even when my buddy accidentally bounced a ball off the lawnmower with the groundskeeper on it. I have had them watering at some odd times. Actually turned the water on when we were on the green. Thankfully it was hot that day but still kinda strange. read more

It is what it is. A nice place to practice your game. It's only 6 par 3 holes, but it's cheap so can't complain too much. The staff are pretty rude most of the time and always give me a glare every time I pay with my card. read more

Great inexpensive, short golf course. This isn't a fancy place, but if you are looking for a fun outdoor outing in Chico that won't break the bank, this is a good option. They have a small club shop where you can pick up any items that you forgot to bring. There is a decent driving range so that you can warm up. This place is very casual, no dress code. read more

Best little golf course in Chico, driving range is inexpensive, and the little 6 hole par 3 course is really fun and well kept, greens are pretty nice. The management in the pro shop is also awesome friendly, and just the other day got a super stroke putter gripped installed there and it was a great price! Also they're pro shop is super fairly priced, and if you like ping, this place is awesome, wish I could afford some ping clubs now haha read more

Terrible experience. Sprinklers turned on halfway through our hole, so I called the front desk to ask them to turn them off. He shrugged me off and told me they'll be on for eight minutes and he can't turn them off. After our game, I went in to ask him to not water the course while people are playing. He asks "Are you a groundskeeper?" and doesn't even have the decency to apologize for the inconvenience. Owner clearly did not care about the experience of his customers, will not be coming back. read more

What a horrible experience. Thought that I would get back into playing golf but my experience at this place certainly turned me off. First of all the place looks shabby. Over half the golf balls are so smooth you can't put any spin on them. Golf bag holders are missing at many of the tee boxes. The grass is brown on the range. Then there is the staff that have a real attitude about "you are lucky to play here and we don't owe you a thing." Oh, however they are concerned if you are showing hairy armpits and want to make sure you keep them covered. Really, this is your priority??? Remember to shave if decide to go there to hit golf balls. read more

It's an OK little course but the owner is a smug prick. If you were never on the golf team or a member of a country club, expect him to grit his teeth that you're using his course. I don't plan to ever spend money there again. read more

This place is the bee's knees! The staff are all fairly attractive and are very helpful. The prices are practically unbeatable and this place has incredible greens for a 6-hole course. The range is also huge and the balls are relatively cheap. I cannot wait to go back. read more
