He made it fun but safe. The rules were very clear. All of the boys had such a great time!! They did multiple rounds with different games and objectives which kept the kid all entertained. I think everyone's favorite was the kids vs parents where all the parents got to go on the field. Great picnic table setup perfect to bring and have cupcakes / pizza etc. they supplied plenty of water and there is a bathroom right next to the field. Highly highly recommend!!! Everything was going great... until I went to the Big 5 store on Elkhorn Blvd. At first, the saleswoman was polite, but after she called the manager to handle the return of a defective inflatable mattress, the situation changed completely. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful -- he kept snorting, interrupting, speaking in an irritated tone, and showing open aggression. I couldn't argue or raise my voice -- my English isn't strong enough for that, which can easily be confirmed by the store's security cameras. So I calmly and respectfully called my daughter to help explain the situation over the phone. The manager spoke to her rudely and irritably, getting upset when she referred to the official Big 5 website, where the return policy is clearly stated differently from what he claimed. He even tried to intimidate me by threatening to call the police, as if the police were some kind of punishment force that would come and "throw me out of the store." I never raised my voice, never acted rude or aggressive -- I was simply trying to return a defective item, staying calm and respectful the entire time. In the end, the manager grabbed the box with the mattress, carried it outside, and ordered me to leave the store. I was completely shocked by this treatment. I never expected that a well-known retail chain like Big 5 could allow such behavior toward a customer. I sincerely hope that the company's management reviews the security footage, investigates this incident, and ensures that such behavior never happens again. Im​ really interested to see if the same behavior continues from that manager and if anything action will be taken towards stoping it.

Grab a couple items totaling around 65 bucks, cashier is very friendly and cool. Turns out the back massager thing I bought was broken ($49.99 listed on the box) and the gloves I grabbed she already had stashed at her gym ($14.99). Didn't really anticipate issues (I should have assumed their items are broken I guess) so the receipt was discarded. Didn't think anything of it since every store ever will give you store credit if you don't have the actual paper receipt. Nope... wife goes to return the gifts for store credit and see if there's anything in there she wants with the 65ish dollars I paid. They give her a gift card with $29.00 on it... called them and apparently if you return anything w/o a receipt the items automatically revert to the LOWEST sale price they've EVER had on that item so #1 the (broken) massager is marked up like crazy and #2 they literally have the items on their floor that show the price point they're currently marked at that particular location. Bought the stuff less than a week ago, main item was broken, zero attempt at customer service... 35 bucks isn't going to ruin anyone but the principal of thing is a killer for me especially considering brick and mortar retail is dying and Big 5 is already fully outclassed by Dicks and wayyy out-convenienced by Amazon. I already felt like I was doing them a favor by not utilizing those other options.... It's a great spot for quick, last-minute needs. One downside is the shoe section. Especially during sports season, it feels like they're always out of the sizes we need. Cleats are the hardest to find, which is a bummer because their prices are usually better than other stores. Customer service could be better too. Every time we go in, the employees are hanging out at the front chatting and don't really offer help.

She pulled the shoes from stock and had them waiting for me at the front counter. Perfect service. Beautiful modern store that is fully stocked in every department with numerous sale items.
