I can eat while I watch the other people bowl. They have appetizers like chili cheese fries and the like or nachos and stuff like that. I went for a Cheeseburger and fries ($12.99) and a drink. It didn't take long to cook up and it was pretty decent. I had no idea what to think of bowling ally food before this. The fries were hot and crisp and the burger tasty as well, so all's good in my book. They also have pizza and salad here if you want that. Movies like The Goonies (win), Ghost Busters, Super Troopers, Hook, etc etc. Movies you know every line of and always wished you had seen in the theater, now you can! They show movies more than one night a week, but Tuesday is the day my friend, as it's $2 for the flick, $2 for Sierra on tap (yeah boyee!), and $2 for movie food and candy. The early show is less crowded, the late show rambunctious as hell. You want to get faded off cheap delicious beers and yell out the lines to your favorite 80's movie with a bunch of other fun-lovin' hooligans? This is the place!!! Also they have $3 Thursdays, if Tuesday is a no-go. Plus they have a list when you pay to suggest future movies. Also: Don't bring the kids, there will be swearing I can guarantee it. So if you sharpen your skills before you visit you will have an opportunity to impress the group. When we went we were able to see all levels of the mansion. Super cool tour. The grounds are well maintained and green as far as the eye could see, with a few lovely ponds here and there. The marriage ceremony was performed out on the course under a large tree that provided a cool and shady area for the seated guests. My cousin got to utilize a "wedding" golf cart to transport her to the location where her vows were to take place. Then the traditional wedding began and finished with the happy couple united as husband and wife. Then, we all trekked to the clubhouse for the reception. The hall was nicely arranged with the colors of the wedding used in the table settings. There was plenty of seating for all the guests. The buffet was the best! All of the food selections were getting lots of compliments! There was tri tip steak, stuffed chicken breasts, vegetarian spaghetti, fresh rolls, green salad, mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans. All cooked to perfection (except the beans could have bean cooked a little longer) - but crispy! After dinner, some tables were moved to make room for the dance floor and an area where the DJ was located. The bar and lounge was right next to the dining room. The drinks were good and strong and the bartenders friendly. You could also go outside to the patio area to enjoy the view and fresh air. The wedding turned out very nice and enjoyed by all. Also, unlike Chico Women's Club, there is a separate dining room and auditorium, divided by a large central hallway to give you more options for setups. The people supervising the tournaments do a great job friendly to all of the people playing. He conduct a really fair clean tournament and I found it to be a real pleasant experience where people are all friendly to each other and regardless of what happens they walk away as friends. there are participants of all ages some really skilled older guys, and some young players that are really on the ball again everybody being highly respectful and the tournament is always conducted with the highest integrity. I highly recommend it if you like to play poker tournament. This is worth a try you might walk away a winner but regardless, you'll meet some nice people and I'm sure you'll wanna get involved in these tournaments because they are fun California.
