So if I was basing they review on food alone it's an easy 4 to 4.5 stars. Service was lacking. I arrived first and took a small table in the very back corner. When the waiter came by I let them know I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in over a year and we were planning a long lunch. It was a Saturday afternoon and not busy. My guest arrived and the sever didn't come back for at least 10 min. But ok. No biggie. We ordered a soda and an iced tea. When those arrived we ordered food. My tacos came quickly and then we sat, looking at my food while we waited for the other entrée, the burger. 10 minutes later it shows up served by another server, no explanation or even acknowledgement that it took 10 minutes between me being served and my companion being served. Anyway our server was MIA for the rest of our stay. No offer of a refill for our beverages, no asking if the food was ok. Nothing. We stayed about 2 hours total and my normal policy is to double the tip because I have taken a table for about twice as long as normal. Unfortunately service was sub par. Oh and tea was incredibly strong not in a good way.

(Its worth ten bucks, ha!) Make sure that if you should arrive before 9, like for happy hour, and stay after 9, that your given a wrist band so you can wander from floor to floor without having to pay the entry fee 3) If you get there prior to 9pm and have a person or people you actually want to speak (and not yell at) the music is at a normal level so carrying a conversation is tres easy. Beware, after 9pm they PUMP up the volume so be prepared to yell your conversation after that time frame kicks in 4) And speaking of 'tres' this bar is tres chic, there is a ton of cozy seating, you can go find a booth which is semi private or go more public and choose a table out in the open (along with more cozy seats) 5) They have an 'L' shaped pool table, very weird but very cool and ultra different. I've never seen one quite like it anywhere else 6) The martini selection is pretty tasty (see my pix) and the prices are right up my alley (marginally priced and well worth it) 7) The absolute BEST part of my experience here at the VIP Ultra Lounge was Stephanie. The adorable, extra friendly bartender/waitress, literally, the best little thing located upstairs. Her personality ROCKED. She gave me mini tour and being that it was my first time here, while she toured, she explained all the bars (total of 4), their highlights and best times to have fun at each of them. So we show up for the Tribal Seeds show, and we are watching the opening band Pacific Dub, when we notice at least two or three people ON STAGE are puffin J's and about a good 25 or so people around us are as well. So we light one up, within seconds all of the sudden this little prick with a JMAX PRODUCTIONS shirt comes up and grabs my wife's wrist hard and tries to yank her hand to look for a joint, which we quickly hid. I then told him he better watch himself trying grab her wrist like that (she was bruised by it) and I don't mess around like that, like most cowards he tried to back peddle and mumble some b.s. He then left and came back through trying to stare me down, he then said something and I told him to keep it movin. He told me something about, lets just relax and have fun. So I told him how can I have when fun when you're grabbing my wifes wrist and stealing people's J's(the couple next to us). He said some other nonsense so I told him to split and I was sick of hearing his b.s. So this little prick goes and gets the OWNER OF THE BUILDING, WHO IS AN EVEN BIGGER PRICK!!! This bald a-hole comes up and tells me to come to the front in the lobby to talk about what I said to his worker. So I go talk to him and he acts like the BIGGEST DOUCHE EVER. My wife is trying to explain what happens, and he screams at her "I am not talking to you!" So then I said he better watch his mouth and stop disrespecting my wife like that, she was very calm and didn't deserve to be treated like that. Then his little prick worker decides to try to smooth things out by lying about what happened even more, and then the BALD PRICK OWNER OF THE BUILDING who probably has some issues over his penis size decides to kick us out of the show because of the way we spoke to his little worker prick... So yeah needless to say, this place is a joke and it's too bad asswipes like that ruin a good show. Not only will I not EVER go back, I will make it my new mission to expose this asswipe for what he is, Chico's biggest D-BAG! Show some respect to people and stick that attitude up your ass. P.S. THE OWNERS NAMES IS Name JUSTIN MAXIMOV and here is his cell 530-898-1497 in case you would like to ask why he would be such an ass to someone trying to enjoy a reggae show.. I tried to call him tonight after the show to explain he needs to apologize, he continued to act like he did nothing wrong and would not apologize for being disrespectful. Until he fixes the issue of him and his staff being asswipes, this post will stay up as well as many others. You can't hide from the internet, douche. read more

We met with the Club's event organizer, Sara Rose, to find out if it would be a fit for us. Sara Rose was friendly, honest, and professional. After we chose the Women's Club to be our venue, Sara Rose kept in contact with us --- answering any and all questions that we had. One of our concerns was who would clean up after the event. Cleaning in a wedding dress was the LAST thing I wanted to do. However, our family and friends cleaned up the decorations, and Sara Rose offered to clean the rest for a very reasonablel fee. The Women's Club was the perfect wedding reception venue for us. It was very affordable when compared to other venues in the area ($750 for the entire day), and it was close in proximity to our ceremony location in Bidwell Park. With its hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and hanging chandliers, the main room required litle decoration. The Women's Club also offers a stage which we took advantage of with our choice of a live band, The Decades. The patio area in the back gave those who wished to converse in a more quiet location an opportunity to do so. The garden foliage behind the back patio coupled with our hanging lanterns and cocktail tables gave the space quite a festive feel. Finally, the kitchen area was a great asset for our catering company, Bacio's. I would reccomend this venue to any couple who is on a budget, yet is looking for a relaxed and fun wedding reception.
