They said you could come and did not need a partner. It was the one hour dance lesson and then the practice dance period. My daughter and her friend had come with us, and I told them no worries they said you don't need a partner. What a huge mistake. Apparently the advanced learners were suppose to ask those visiting to dance Not one person asked her to dance the entire evening, they asked her friend, over and over and over and over and over. If you are not a skinny girl don't bother apparently. It is already hard to get out there and exercise and have fun, but this experience, for her, was humiliating. We were thinking of joining and doing this to have fun, exercise, and meet new people, but not any longer. The instructors were nice and we really were looking forward to beginning something new as a group, but we will be looking elsewhere.

Until today when there was a young gentleman name Rodolfo who clearly likes his job was kind enough to help rectify the issues. this man was very patient, took his time too explain why this could have possibly continued to happen even gave me a complementary entry for all our troubles. Nope. It was a…read morecrowded day, I totally get that. We were there about 2 hours and when we arrived there were no skate trainer assists available to rent. I put my name on a wait list. 20 min later, I noticed many people had returned their skate assists. There were probably 6 of them behind the desk. I probably asked 5x or more if it was our turn on the wait list, every time I was told no. At one point the girl said "you're welcome to walk around out there with your own child" I have a hurt shoulder and a prosthetic hip, otherwise I would've :( Long story short, my son sat on the bench next to the skate rentals, waiting for his turn on the wait list, fighting back tears. In the 45+ min we waited, no one from the wait list ahead of us collected a single skate trainer. And we were repeatedly told we couldn't use one. I definitely understand waiting our turn, but when no one ahead is coming to collect them..... The guy at the skate rental place when we first arrived was super nice tho! But the girls I wasn't impressed with.

SUCCESSFUL 4TH BIRTHDAY!!!…read more I am surprised first of all...to see an average 3 stars for this place....smh..(almost brand new inside, super clean, so many places to hang, and the owner is always on site working among his employees....but I guess haters gonna hate)....but anyway...WE HAD THE BEST BIRTHDAY EVER AT KIDDOS PLAY PLACE!!! To start off, just know...we usually have at least 100 guests for our kids birthday parties and spend over $1500 in party favors, food, cake, goodies, kids beverages (and adult beverages) as well as the venue!!! We are in the process of a big move and my husband talked me into trying out The Kiddos Play Place! At first I was worried about the amount of invites we could send out...so I called ahead and got all of my worries taken care of. We had about 35 adults and 31 kids total!!! The online system automatically accounts for any additional people to have the best amount of drinks and pizza slices per person. (Side note, thankfully the pizza was tastier than Little Caesars or Chuck E Cheese)... ANYWAYS... We had just the right amount of people to celebrate my daughter's birthday. They gave her a sweet birthday tshirt that all of her friends and family got to sign which was such a great keepsake that I didnt know about until day of. Our EVENT PLANNER....YES....I SAID EVENT PLANNERS NAME was Ilona...and she was a SWEEEETHEART!! INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE TO our every need. She kept the cake chilled for us, our friends happy, drinks filled and pizza coming out on time. Ive never felt so at ease. We usually bbq and host all of our friends and family and never get to mingle. Ilana made it such a special day for us. (I even told her we are usually a rowdy bunch). I spoke to the owner both before our party and after and he was a pleasure to talk to. He answered any of my concerning questions and was incredibly professional...as I said we can be a hard group. Im so thankful all and all to the kiddos play place for being a place we NEED in Butte County! What a breath of fresh air the staff were so good to us. (We made sure to leave a tip). Thanks again!!! Top favorite things: 1. Baby play area 2. Clean accessible bathrooms 3. Clean accessible family bathroom as well as feeding area for breastfeeding moms 4. The early show is less crowded, the late show rambunctious as hell. You want to get faded off cheap delicious beers and yell out the lines to your favorite 80's movie with a bunch of other fun-lovin' hooligans? This is the place!!!
