This is my favorite Weck's of all of the locations I have tried thus far. It is HUGE, the staff are super super kind and attentive and they had the cutest holiday decor everywhere. We arrived 30 minutes after opening and everyone was super cheery and welcoming. I came in and was seated promptly in the main dining room with my 4 year old granddaughter while we waited for my daughter to arrive. Our waitress was so nice and promptly gave us our menus (new ones since the last time I was there.) The restaurant was clean and tidy and everyone was busy doing something. When we were seated I noticed that the menus were new. And also noticed a smaller menu that had lite options and on the other side GLUTEN FREE! While I am not gluten free, I know someone who is and I know what a big deal it is to have these options. Nice job Wecks! I ordered the taco salad with ground beef. It's my favorite lunch item. The papas come in a different bowl which I can't tell has more or less but it looked good. The children's French toast and a scrambled egg for my granddaughter was cute and she loved both. I was informed that this location had a new owner. Which I believe is who it was who walked to each table ensuring everyone was having a good experience. I suspect there was a bit of an increase in prices but I expect that. The food was great. My only suggestion which might be a silly one, is to have a larger print menu. This place was packed when I got here first of all and the wait was about 20 mins. But once you got in, the service kicked in and they were amazing! The food was great!, but the service really stuck out. They were on top of refills, napkins, or anything I may have wanted or needed. My coffee was always full and the others at my table had their drinks always full as well. The room I was in was BUSY! No matter how busy the staff was just so nice making for a great feel in this particular location. I'm a vet and have been to a lot of places for breakfast and this one at this location tops them all. Had the day off work so I treated myself. Today they have hazelnut coffee. Service is a little slow here, they stuck in the corner so maybe they don't see me. Waitress was friendly and apologized for not seeing me. Says she was not told she had someone in her area. This is the first time they did not sit me in the single spot. Lol, it is in the south part of building and when I'm alone I always get sat there. Really enjoy the food here. Usually get the papas but today decided to go for the omelette de framage. 3 egg omelette with bacon and green chili. We were quoted a 25 min wait time for a party of 8, which is what we thought not a bad wait time. We ended up waiting an hour. Also, we saw what looked like a friend of a waiter, who had a big party be seated immediately. when I brought it to the manager's attention about our wait time and what looked to be favoritism in who was being seated, the manager responded in a rude tone, "we have had a lot of big parties" but nothing else. When seated, we orderEd chips and salsa for the table, they also forgot them too. Bottom Line: Typical American diner food in gigantic portions served by friendly staff in pleasant surroundings. This location did not have the huge brownie I enjoyed at another Weck's locale. Top Line: I went specifically to have Weck's mondo brownie & a cuppa joe for breakfast. Brownie is apparently not served at this location. So I gambled on their $4.29 cinnamon roll being an acceptable stand-in. It arrived steaming hot from the nukathonic heaterator and was, to put it mildly, astonishing in it's size! That oversize block o' pure carbohydrate was 6 inches x 5 inches x over 2 inches high (I measured!) and well slathered with frosting. The roll was very brioche Wonder Bread soft, moist enough to nearly qualify as "doughy", and super layered on the interior with cinnamon-sugar packing. It was a sharp cinnasweet punch right to the taste buds. Coffee was, as at other Weck's locations, $3 for a bottomless cup. Which always feels to me about a buck above the justification threshold for a cuppa joe that is passably okay, but well below exhilaration levels. Special mention of Minerva, my waitress for the day, for being friendly, super conscientious in topping up the bottomless cup, quickly delivering any requested items, and frequently swinging by to insure all was well. She knew exactly the right juncture in time to pop by with the check. As a wonderful server, she nailed it! read more

We made it here right before the place was closing and checked with gal at front desk that it was okay to enter. We were promptly seated and ordered. The iced teas were 90% ice and 10% tea. When you drank the liquid down, it was almost a full glass of crushed ice alone. I ordered my usual spinach omelette, with no mushrooms. I like it well done and that was fine. Unfortunately the rest of my meal was way, way, way overdone hash browns. It was like they had scraped all the leftovers that had been sitting on the back of the griddle all day, and put these inedible dried out remnants of hash browns on my plate. The highlight was the English muffin. My husband took his hamburger off his bun to cut and eat directly from his plate. You needed a saw to cut threw the overcooked patty. The cold Swiss cheese on top had congealed to the shape of the burger, and was a dried out excuse of a topping. The onion rings were cooked beyond redemption. They were so dried out, like they were leftovers as well. This place is usually reliable for a filling, good meal. Ugh! We came up the losers this time with what were served. We did take some items home, and they went right in the trash. Even the dogs would not touch the hamburger, and that's saying something. This whole visit left a bad taste in our mouths. I enjoyed the High Desert omelette with shredded chicken, spinach, avocado slices, wrapped in white eggs with white cheese. I added mushrooms. OMGoodness, it was so delicious. The side I chose was a cup of fresh fruit - sliced strawberries, blueberries, grapes, and clementines. So fresh and yummy. When I was ready to leave at 8:30am, there were a lot of people waiting. We also asked her and she just told our server who was busy taking food to other guest. I know some times we don't want to work but really???? When we did get our coffee this same individual was happy to help her normal "usual" customers. We just shook our heads and decided to make this review based on our experience. I was initially discouraged because the parking lot (10:30 am on Monday) was packed to the gills but when I enteree there was plenty of seating. Waitress was friendly. I didn't see her much during my meal but I didn't really need her. Ordered the "south of denver" omelette with hash browns and toast. I asked for the hash browns to be scattered and for Texas toast. The egg part of the omelette was surprisingly bland. Had to keep adding Cholula to keep going. It did have a lot of decent green pepper bits though. The Texas toast was kind of underwhelming too. In retrospect I should have asked for jelly, but it wasn't offered. The hash-browns were indeed scattered and super-crispy. They would have been great if the green chile & cheese from the omelette hadn't invaded their part of the plate and sogged it all up. All in all, a decent but not amazing breakfast nook. read more

Got message on Sunday 12:07pm saying my order was ready. Finally received my order at 12:39pm, 32 mins after being told my order was ready. I drive delivery and this store has a habit of completing orders for delivery long before it's ready. I don't have this problem with the other 2 Weck's I deliver from. And other delivery drivers tell me the same thing. I feel bad for drivers making money this way or for customers whose food maybe sat around that long waiting to get prepped for delivery. Today we went back for breakfast. Before COVID, it was our reliable good food, excellent service, and reproducible meal. No surprises. Today, it was not quite as smooth as we had before. But the service saved it. Anytime the governor allows indoor dining, I'm sure the huge outpour of support (or foodies/piggies), is a volume that is tough to serve. Thank you to Sara and Trinity for their efforts to make our meal right and checking in on us throughout the meal. I felt valued.
