Tried this spot while visiting in town. A lot of young high schoolers that work here. We placed an order online for a pizza with light cheese, we were very very specific about this. Relative that lives in the area said anytime you try to order it that way, they never listen. Unfortunately when picking up the pizza it did not have light cheese at all. They kindly remade the pizza, and also comped us lemonade and breadsticks. So it was nice that they fixed their mistakes but be warned young workers here and if you have allergies or modifications they may not be followed. But still pizza was yummy. The pizza here is consistently delicious! One time we had an issue with the dough bubbling, which ruined a couple slices of our pizza, but they remade it right away with no hesitation. Their customer service is truly one of the best and they handled it so professionally. I've also tried their subs and salads, and everything has been fresh and flavorful. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And the green chile ranch is an absolute must, you don't want to skip it! The only downside during our last visit was the cleanliness of our booth. We sat in one of the corner booths and noticed crumbs along the sides and a dirty windowsill. Well the food is okay. Their service is fairly slack. Every time we order a ham and swiss the order is messed up. My wife hates onions and we every time we order it without onions and order me one with onions. They either don't put onions on either one or they put onions in both of them. This last time we ordered we ordered it with onions on the side and guess what? Two sandwiches? No onions, no onions on the side. I don't get it??? I order food to pick up. Pull up to the speaker drive thru and have to answer several questions before pulling forward. Ask for a phone number and let your computer tell the rest. Why make customers repeat their entire order and delay pick up and speed of check out? It's 2025, rely on some technology and common sense. So Dion's has always provided good pizza and salad and subs. And the people who work there are very nice and professional. But what prevents this from being a 4-5 star review is this. 1. When I have to go and wait at a drive though that is very frustrating. This should be a policy nowhere. 2. They are too busy and need to hire more people. We tried a different Dion's location. This was the one by Target in Rio Rancho. The place was not busy at 2:00, but it took over 20 minutes waiting at a table to make 2 small pizzas and a meatball sub sandwich. We had finished our medium size drinks while waiting. Do they give refills? We ate what we could and boxed the rest to go. The artichoke, black olive, and Italian sausage pizza was delicious. The pepperoni one was to go. The meatball sandwich had only 3 meatballs. It could have used another meatball to fill the roll. We got a fresh fruit cup as an accompaniment. Cannot go wrong with fresh fruit. The decor of the place was pleasant and clean with real potted plants hanging in baskets from the ceiling. Someone must be in charge of watering them to prevent them from dying. Order is always accurate whether it's over the phone, in person or placed through the app. Staff are always smiling, working hard and friendly during a busy time. Had a terrific experience on Saturday 5/28/22 at the High Resort location. I was with a friend who is absolutely deathly allergic to mushrooms. Every time we go out, she always mentions to the server that she is allergic. On Saturday she wanted to order a salad, and she mentioned her allergy to the cashier. I saw the cashier punch a couple of extra buttons on the register, but I didn't realize what happened until I got the receipt. Under m friend's portion of the order where the words: MUSHROOM ALERGY (sic) CHANGE GLOVES I know that most restaurants will make allowances for patrons with allergies, but this is the first time ever that I've actually seen that in practice. I want Dion's Pizza to be my last meal. Please just put me in the casket, pour Dion's green chile ranch all over me and sprinkle those magical round croton things on top and send me to the afterlife. I could go on and on about the taste - it is phenomena - but this review needs to highlight the way Dion's customer service is basically the doughy, flour caked version of Chick fil-a. We ordered on the app (as per usual)with a scheduled pick up time of 7pm on a Friday (a risky proposition, I know). I arrived on site at 6:50pm, 5th in line at the drive through (score!) and started my timer (see photo). In under a minute, a friendly young Dion's employee came to my car to confirm my order details, showing absolutely no signs of shell-shock that I can only imagine one faces at a dine in pizza joint on a Friday night. By the time we reached the window (less than 4 minutes later) I could already see my order prepped and staged on the counter as another friendly, smiling employee read through my order and began handing items through the threshold that brought the amazing pizza aroma into my car. I go for their bottles, and I'll occasionally dabble in their 505 rendition of the green chile pepperoni pizza, but the raunch, it is such great raunch for brunch. I moved from New Mexico in 2020. Dions has always been one of my New Mexico staples. I was in town visiting my family and had to have my fix. My first impression of course was with a employee. I got to the counter and she just stared at me. I was waiting till she would say hello or may I help you but nothing. I said hello and she said what do you want? What happened to customer service? This is the regular location that I visit usually, however they are usually the busiest because of the convenience of the location in Rio Rancho. The only trouble is that when I order for pick-up or to go I often get something incorrect. This past visit, I asked for all Greek dressings, get home and I have all ranch. The orders really need to be checked before they bag them or when they hand them off and allow the customer time to check before they disappear. read more

Frustrating experience. I'm located between this location and the one near Enchanted Hills. The Enchanted Hills location has messed up my order more times than I can count. That's why I started coming here. What this High Resort location makes up for in order accuracy they lack in timeliness. This most recent time was Sunday evening. My online order was to be ready by 5:30. I get there around 5:40 and wait in the drive-up lane for a while and get to the window at 5:45. They hand me my pizza, salad and dressing. I ask where the sub was and they said it wasn't ready. They had me pull around. I wait near the side door until 6:00!!! Finally she brings it out after I call them to make sure they didn't forget that I was sitting there. Crazy!! I get that an order might not be ready at the exact time it was promised or even +/- 5 mins. But 30 minutes after the promised time is kind of redonk. Food was good though.
