We had to wait a little bit till family arrived and he'd check on us, refill our coffee and ask if we wanted anything while we waited so we didn't get too hungry. What a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch in Corrales! A friendly, clean and welcoming restaurant to enjoy your meal. I had the eggs Benedict (light) with fresh fruit. It was very tasty and fruit was nice. They have inside and outside dining. A very roomy place with nice atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. Cost for meal was reasonable as well. This restaurant has a nice history and glad they are still going strong. Just ate breakfast at Hannah and Nate's in Corrales on a Tuesday morning at 11:30. They were busy but we managed to get a parking spot right away. There were plenty of tables and we were seated right away. The servers were friendly and attentive. I visited the restroom and it was tidy and incredibly clean. The measure of any restaurant that makes New Mexican food is how they make a red chile cheese enchilada. I had the breakfast enchiladas which I enjoyed and were good with the potatoes. Very few restaurants make perfect red chile but Hannah and Nate's is better than most. A lot of restaurants stretch their red chile with flour but if H&N's uses any flour it isn't noticeable. They also use 3 corn tortillas instead of the typical two and the cheese isn't overwhelming. The heat level of the red chile is enough. Next time I will up my game by trying the carne adovada breakfast enchiladas. As we were waiting for our meal, I saw a club sandwich go by that looked incredible. H&N's also has a good selection of sandwiches, salads, omelets, quiche, eggs Benedict, and more that we need to try. The best part is that we moved here a year ago, just found this restaurant, and live only 16 minutes away. Highly recommend. read more

just what i needed after getting off the balloon fiesta shuttle at cottonwood. i was hungry and in awe of a gorgeous morning to watch dawn patrol and mass ascension so i opted for hannah and nate's rather than the stalls on main street at balloon field. no regrets! very friendly server who was also attentive. food didn't take too long and they knew to be ready to ask if a takeaway box was needed. i opted to sit inside since id been outside since 5am and it just felt a little bit cozier indoors but the patio filled up fast. they were kept busy with people streaming in and tables being turned over at a reasonable rate. there were lots of menu options in terms of flavors and food quantities. i left a happy customer, with some leftovers for tomorrow. read more

We came here during our visit for Balloon Fiesta. My fiance still had fond memories of it from when he used to live in corrales. And they did not disappoint! The weather was perfect so we were able to enjoy the patio. The service was great and the staff was on top of everything. The highlight dish was the heavenly hash with Christmas salsa and extra cheese. You get so much food and it is so delicious! Came here in a Thursday around 1:15. The parking lot was packed. The food and service was very good! I had the combo plate. The chile relleno was excellent! I had that with green chile. Carne adovada enchilada and ground beef taco. The beans were delicious. The only thing that wasn't great was the rice. I think the scooped it off the bottom of the pan. Some of it was hard. We dine at your other location for 10+ years and have never had a problem. Last Thursday we ordered 3 takeout lunch entrees that we have had before. All 3 were terrible (combo burrito, salmon salad and a pesto sandwich which was overcooked with No pesto, it has a glaze of marinara with dried out bread. We had to throw most of our meals. The only item that was the same as Albuquerque location was the cranberry bread pudding. Who ever is the chef at this location needs some supervision. read more

Usually I love this place. In the past their food has been fresh and worth the time to find parking and wait for seating. Went on a Friday at 11:00. The waitress was inattentive but I think it's because she was extremely busy. I had the quiche with fruit. The quiche was ok. Not very fresh. The pineapple with the side of fruit was partially rotten. My friend had a cream cheese and avocado omelet. She opened the omelet and the avocado was very black and spotty. Based on what I had been told, I was excited to try Hannah and Nate's, and was... underwhelmed. Our table had the salmon eggs Benedict, the steak sandwich, and the quiche of the day. The steak sandwich was ok. Nothing to rave about, nor complain about, although the chips that come with it are lack luster at best. The quiche was poorly executed, the filling was nice, however it was overshadowed by the completely raw crust. The salmon eggs Benedict was a disaster. Hannah & Nate's is a little breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot in Corrrales with another location in Albuquerque. The restaurant does not have alcohol despite focusing on brunch. The service was friendly, but the food bland. The hash browns were undercooked, and the "smothered" green chile over the top of the breakfast burrito was pieces of diced green chile, not a sauce. I had the Traditional Breakfast Burrito for $11.50, which is: "3 Scrambled eggs and 3 slices of bacon (or 2 sausage patties), wrapped in a tortilla and smothered in red or green chile and topped with cheddar cheese." In the breakfast burrito pictured I had the cheddar cheese held off. A benefit of the restaurant is they can do any egg dishes with egg whites, which I did. Otherwise the food is bland and the chile sauces aren't sauces. I likely wouldn't go back. read more

Being that this is one of my Mom's favorite restaurants and due to the fact that it's right down the block from her house, I've taken her there for lunch on her recommendation when I go to visit the area, which has been twice in the last few months. It's in an old adobe house converted into a restaurant setting...very quaint, very welcoming and it fits perfectly into the look of the town, which is a horse/farm community located to the NW of and adjacent to Albuquerque. The scenic patio in front looks like a great place to sit, but, since the weather has been cold the 2 times I've been there, it wasn't an option. The staff is always very welcoming and efficient. First time in, I ordered from the Breakfast menu: Huevos Rancheros ($9) [2 eggs served on top of 2 corn tortillas, cheddar cheese, choice of red or green chile, topped with lettuce and diced tomato, served with a side of beans, hash browns and a tortilla. Add carne adovada for only $2.75] I opted to add the Carne Adovada, had green chile, asked for my eggs medium poached and since it's served with corn tortillas, I had a flour tortilla on the side (to use as a "sauce mop"). The Carne Adovada was tender, juicy and flavorful, the eggs were cooked perfectly, so when I broke them open, the runny yolk added to the flavor and texture of the dish and the classic Hatch green chile added that New Mexican flavor that I always crave when I visit this area that I grew up in! The hash browns were crispy, just the way I like them and the beans were just right. On my most recent visit, I ordered off the breakfast menu again: Steak & Egg Burrito ($12) [Grilled top sirloin steak, scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, caramelized onions and red peppers wrapped in a flour tortilla and smothered in your choice of our red or green chile topped with cheddar] I opted for the traditional New Mexican "Christmas" style...both red and green chile. A couple of minor issues with this dish: I asked the waitress for my steak to be cooked medium rare...she said that she would "ask the kitchen". The steak came out well done...cooked to the point of being chewy. Also, I was served hash browns, which wasn't a problem, not the diced potatoes listed in the description. No explanation was offered for either issue. I still enjoyed the dish... As you can see from my pictures, the servings are hearty sized, definitely filling, with good flavors and textures! If I had been offered any explanation on the issues, this would have been a 5 star rating! As it is, I still enjoyed this place and I will visit with my Mom next time I'm in the area... read more

This breakfast restaurant is not the best. Service was sub par with a struggle for refills on coffee. Food for the price was not even worth taking photos of. On top of that they messed up the order. It's fairly pretentious and not that pleasant of an atmosphere. Would not recommend this restaurant.
