So... we lived in ABQ for some time in the 90's and became addicted to green chili huevos. Moved to Colorado and travel to ABQ once a year to buy green chili and usually pre made huevos sauce from Weck's, cause we suck at making it ourselves. Then the tragedy struck, our freezer just up and died... all green chili lost. Emergency trip to ABQ to pick up more stock. We explained the situation and the manager was very understanding. I show up to pick up the 30 quarts and tell the manager how I need to "try" to freeze all of it by the next day and he offers to not only freeze in his freezer, but bag it in flat packs so it fits in my travel cooler... Holy cow, I could not have traveled unless it was frozen solid and he came through big time, I can't say enough nice things about this location, class all the way. read more

Affordable prices, nice sized portions, great tasting food are normal for this growing chain. Service is great, even the manager stopped by to check on us. The New Mexico based entrees are delicious. Red, Green, or Christmas, one cannot go wrong with spicy New Mexico Chile. read more

Best waffle EVER! This location is more modern than any Weck's I've been to in the past. The staff were all very helpful and prompt. I ordered a waffle. Simple and crisp. It was the best waffle. My husbands dish wasn't hot, but he was too hungry to have Weck's fulfilling their stated promise to fix any issue as soon as it's identified. I have no doubt they would have heated his meal with a smile. I crave those waffles and have no idea how they get it so crispy, but I'll be back for more. read more

I'm not sure what the big hype is over this place, but I havent experienced food that was better than mediocre. Their portions are large, but if you prefer quality over quantity, go somewhere else. There are more tasteful breakfast places around town. read more

I love Wecks! But along with their spectacular Papas, the service at this location absolutely blew me away! The manager, Kirk, was absolutely exceptional making sure every customer had what they needed. Not only did he turn on the soccer game we were hoping to watch, but my husband has sensitive teeth and crispness of the papas was causing him some pain so the manager offered to get him a bowl of non-crispy papas with cheese and green sauce. They were incredibly busy and yet the way we were treated made us feel like we were the only customers. Way to go Wecks! read more

Easy location to get to from the interstate, with adequate parking. Big spacious seating area with super friendly waiters. We came in for breakfast since my wife recommended it. I had the Denver omelette with hash browns, which comes garnished with melted cheese. Wife had breakfast burrito, smothered with green and red Chile (Christmas) with hash browns as well. Our waiter was outstanding, kept our drinks filled and check on us throughout. Would recommend stopping by for breakfast read more

This place is great. Nice restaurant and food is awesomeosity (yes my word). The New Mexico Benedict was fantastic, I would get another order! The bacon Benedict was very tasty, hollandaise sauce had a good balance, the eggs were cooked perfectly. The pan cakes were sweet and fluffy. I would recommend this establishment. Eat well. read more

Went to Wecks the other day for breakfast. Huevos Rancheros were really good. Chile had a lot of flavor. What made it so good was our waiter Sean. The place was packed and he was clearly slammed but always made sure we had everything we needed and had such a good personality! Best customer service so far on my visit. Thanks Sean! read more

Family friendly place, gets very busy, large portion sizes, great service. I got the Bacon Benedict. Decent fare, but the bacon was...not satisfying? The poached eggs were overcooked. Hollandaise sauce was yum though. Overall, pleased with the experience but I would prolly try something else next time. read more

Weck's is an ABQ classic. It's a local chain of breakfast places that serve all the classics as well as NM favorites. Yes, you can get green chili on anything, of course. Their pile of potatoes with eggs, cheese and chili is my go-to. But their pancakes, french toast and cinnamon rolls are all quite excellent! read more

Food was amazing, service was prompt and friendly. Would recommend to friends and family.

We are back in town one year later, and the service is still consistently exceptional. This is our 3rd visit while in town for the week, and every employee has been wonderful! When we came in this morning, the MANAGER was even sweeping the parking lot...And stopped to smile at us when we pulled in! Exceptionally clean, relaxing atmosphere, great coffee (I love the flavored coffee), the food quality is outstanding, extensive menu, and even the bacon is cooked perfectly! Our favorite breakfast spot in ABQ!!! read more

*4.5 stars* If you look around at all the numerous Weck's locations, you'll notice a common trend. Good reviews galore! Why is this, I wonder? Just kidding, it's obvious... Great food, great service, great ambiance, great prices, great coffee, etc. Vegetarian friendly, too! My partner and I were actually able to share one large breakfast burrito and boy was it stellar. We ordered a side of pancakes too and they (I kid you not) were some of the best flapjacks I've ever had!. The only reason for a minor reduction of star-age is due to the fact that the very awesome waitress failed to mention that the offer for "French Vanilla Coffee" instead of regular meant an additional $2! charge. I did NOT see that coming! Def something she should have warned the customer about beforehand. But, that being said, even that coffee flavor was great. Weck's is really everything you want out of a breakfast spot. Go Weck's! read more

Just passing through and decided to try it. The entire place was well run and the food we ordered was great. Our server, Shaun, was excellent . He walked us though our options and was very attentive without hovering. Not sure when we'll be this way again, but I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again. read more

I don't recommend this place to anyone. The are rude, slow and literally got all our order wrong, this is our first time here and it will be our last time read more

This place is generally clean and the staff are friendly. The layout is kinda odd, but nothing off-putting. The servers are quick and efficient, and the menu has a wide variety of choices. I have always ordered breakfast, but have been with folks who have ordered lunch as well. I really like the Farmer's Market omelette. It's chock full of lots of good veggies, and they don't seem to mind when I customize it a bit. It comes with hash browns - which could be browner - and a bread of your choice. Lots of carbs there, but you don't HAVE to eat them, right? The biscuits are pretty tasty, too! The pancakes, which are enormous, are also pretty darn good! Ditto the huge cinnamon rolls! Everything else seems to be pretty decent as well. I have had one of their papas bowls and enjoyed it. While we have never had a complaint from anyone we have dined with here, it's also not a spectacular culinary event. It's good for breakfast, and we like it, but it's just good, fill-you-up breakfast (or lunch) fare, nothing out of the ordinary or unusually delectable. Worth going if you wake up hungry. read more

Our waitress Mandy is awesome!! The food was off the hook! Serve so much for the little price haha!

Big food with small prices. I have to say this is the best place to get STUFFED. The food is mass produced but tastes like it is just for you. The papas with chile couldn't be any better. read more

Weck's is my favorite Albuquerque breakfast spot and on my last trip there I got takeout from this location. I always order the Sloppy Papas with red & green chile and eggs over medium. Even with the to go order you get a big pile of food. I also like that they packed the chile on the side so it didn't make everything soggy. My daughter for the kids pancake with bacon. Great value for really large portion sizes too. read more

Definitely the place to go for a big breakfast. I always order a breakfast burrito (the portions are HUGE), it's not like THE BEST New Mexican style breakfast burrito, but, it is good. Then again....anything with green and red chili on it tastes good.... Service is very good at this location. I swear my coffee mug magically refilled itself, because I never saw them refill it! but, refilled it was :) Service is also pretty quick. If you're in a rush, want a big breakfast, and like chili, this is the place to go! read more

What happen to this location? Weck's is my favorite restaurant so we frequent their many locations often. This is the first time ever I've been truly disappointed. .. with just about everything. The host wasn't very friendly and super preoccupied with the bus boy that parks himself at the host stand when there isn't a table to clear. She also doesn't listen very well and had our table set for one less than our party so the baby had to sit on laps the whole time. The waitress was awful. I had to ask 4 times for lemon for my water. 4 TIMES! The food portions were smaller than they used to be or made incorrectly. The eggs were overcooked as was the bacon. The manager Ivan (I think that is what he said) was nice enough. He fixed my plate that was missing food (well, some of it. I still didn't get the tortilla that usually comes with it) This trip just didn't live up to the Weck's standards we are used to. And I can't say it was just one thing. It was kinda everything. read more

This is our go to breakfast spot after dropping the dogs off at the groomers early Saturday mornings. Greated with a smile (if you are coming with a group, all people must be present to be seated). Fast and attentive service. You can't beat the price for the amount of food. I never leave hungry and I've never not had anything delicious. Manager always stops by to check on the customers. So grab those sweat pants and make your belly happy. read more

What can I say about this location that hasn't already been said. I come to this location every weekend and any other day that I don't have to work. We came in both Saturday and Sunday this last weekend. You have to get there early because it gets busy in a hurry. We were greeted by Kim who promptly greeted and sat us. Kirk and his staff know how to take care of people. Sunday my wife had a breakfast burrito with bacon and ham smothered with red and green. It was delicious. . . I had to have a bite. I had the BLT with a double order of onion rings. It was Wecksellent! Special shout out to my favorite waitress Kristen who always makes our breakfast awesome. I will see you all on Saturday! read more

BEST WECK'S EVER! Weck's Juan Tabo NE in Albuquerque is absolutely the BEST! We recently moved to New Mexico and tried a few Weck's restaurants in town for breakfast, then found Weck's on Juan Tabo NE and it changed our weekend mornings thanks to the Manager Kirk Powell. Kirk runs a great restaurant with a great atmosphere, filled with a great staff and many happy customers. Kirk and his staff provides that special touch, always professional but personable, always making you feel welcome and puts a smile on your face as soon as you walk through the door. AND DID I SAY THE FOOD IS GREAT! We go to Weck's Juan Tabo every weekend to see Kirk, his great staff, and eat the best food in town. If you want your day filled with SUNSHINE and enjoy GREAT FOOD, you need to visit Kirk at Weck's Juan Tabo! Rich & Fran read more

Service: we were sat immediately in the lower section of the restaurant where we were met by our server who promptly greeted us with a smile. The guy who seated us let us know the coffee of day and awed if we had any questions about he menu. Our server was great! She was quick but not pushy, fast to get refills and extras of anything that we needed. The manager even stopped by to see how things were for and service wise, which to me speaks volumes! Food: simply amazing! I had the papas bowl with sausage, bacon, and country gravy and it was so so good!!! I ordered an egg over easy on top which was cooked correctly. I was also able to try the pancakes that my daughter had ordered they were very yummy! The prices were very reasonable and we will be returning!!! read more

Come here on weekdays once a week at least. Coffee and food are good. Service is outstanding. Everything they do here is on point.

My mom in law and I went to this Weck's for breakfast. Fairly hopping so had about a 10 min wait, took no time to get a table really. Our server,Gabby, was great and got us squared away quickly. While we were waiting for our food, the manager, a lovely gentleman who's name I did not get, asked if we would mind moving to another table in order to seat a large party. No problem, we moved, our food came and we are happy. The check comes and is taken back right away. The manager bought our breakfast. Completely unnecessary, but much appreciated. Great meal!!! read more

Ordered the Build your own Burger with MexiCali Coffee, the Burger was okay nothing special but for the price it was a great deal. Called in a to-go order for breakfast. Everything was as requested and delicious. But, the staff was the most impressive part. Very friendly and accommodating even with the large crowd. They double checked the order before handing it to us and were so friendly. Will definitely be back read more

First heard of Weck's from a friend who's never lived in New Mexico or spent much time there, so I was a bit skeptical when he raved about their chile and their adovada. But he tends to be right about food in general, so I gave it a shot, and I'm really glad I did--now I go back every time I'm in Albuquerque. The ubiquitous hash browns are a tasty twist on what is otherwise fairly traditional New Mexican food (with a few American favorites thrown in for variety). Everything I've eaten at Weck's was prepared well, the service is always good (if a little slow at times, but that's understandable when the place is packed full and doing a massive take-out business at the same time), and prices are on the low side of average. The only thing I can possibly complain about is the hours: Why, oh why, won't Weck's stay open for dinner?! read more
