We were wandering through the area and starting to feel the onset of road trip hanger (for the uninitiated, "hanger" here is the portmanteau of "hunger anger," not "airplane hangers"). All Roads Cafe popped up on Yelp and we thought, "what the heck?" Turns out, this is a hidden gem! This is a splendid sandwich shop sits at the end of a small plaza, and the ever-changing menu means that you won't get bored ordering the same dried out turkey whatever thingy. I sadly don't remember what sandwiches we ordered (the perils of doing a Yelp review almost a month later), but suffice to say that we didn't leave a single crumb behind. The place was amazing. Don't overlook it when you're in the area. We were just looking around and decided, based on some of the current reviews, to stop in. We were so glad we did. We each had the Hawaiian sandwich. Nicely grilled, no flavor was overpowering, just a nice bland of pineapple, bacon, ham, and cheese (and a touch of teriyaki) on two slices of fresh grilled to perfection white bread! We also had the homemade chips. My husband had regular salt and pepper and I had the sweet potato with garlic and butter. They were so thinly sliced and crunchy! Heaven. I am somewhat disappointed that I didn't order one of the specials. They were serving muffalottas !!! They are difficult to find outside of NOLA. Wow!! The food is amazing but what really got me was the absolute professionalism and respect this owner gives his customers and employees. There was a mix up and my food was given to someone else and he didn't lose it or yell at anybody. He jumped on the grill and got it done and was polite and nice to his staff and me the entire time. Found this adorable cafe via Yelp just a few minutes off the interstate. Pretty small menu but covered the bases. I split the marinara spaghetti meal in half and it was still a large portion. Love the included garlic. We got a piece of pumpkin cheesecake to go. I would have loved to see a water option beside bottled water. Don't like all the waste! In my humble opinion, there's hardly anything better than a local sandwich shop with good food, good atmosphere, and good service. All roads cafe hits kits all three. They have different special weekly and they a good combination of sandwiches and pasta dishes. The food is made right has you order it, but that doesn't slow down haw fast you get it. Something that makes it even more special, fresh plain potato and sweet potato chips that come in 4-5 tasty seasonings. My fave is sweet potato chip with garlic butter. YUM! They have a wonderful selection of pasta and sandwiches and some pretty yummy desserts, as well. This is a wonderful casual sandwich shop that has local flare, and a friendly staff and feeds your tummy in a wonderful and friendly way. We ate here for lunch today. I thought the menu was a bit limited, just a few sandwiches, a few salads and a few other things. I wasn't too hungry and was looking for something small. They told me the portions were rather generous so my wife and I decided to split her order of spaghetti, which they were happy to do. The food was quite good, it looked good and was the perfect amount. I also thought their prices were reasonable. I liked this place. Stopped here at this brand new cafe, and wow! This place is a huge surprise! It is a cute little restaurant cafe, and it is obvious everything is made in house! We had the grilled cheese, Cajun Pasta, and the Italian sandwich! Who would Have ever thought a small Nm cafe would provide garlic confit to be able to spread on your toast!! So freaking good and something you'd normally find in a nicer restaurant in Chicago or New York! Prices are very reasonable and the staff are like family! The food here is great - we have loved the choices we made. The chef is super friendly and wants to know if you liked your choices. The gals behind the counters are so welcoming. I have just one negative - this last time we were there, rather than black/white tiles, they were grey and my shoes stuck a little. There is also black ? against the baseboards and wood at the bottom of the booths. We then questioned if the kitchen was really clean. read more

We've been going to All Roads Cafe in Edgewood for over a year now. Seldom have we ever not thoroughly enjoyed what we've ordered. They keep it fresh and exciting with monthly specials - often with surprise weekend or lunch specials. The chef takes great pride in his flavor profiles and creations which, for a little sandwich shop, is very impressive! The portion sizes are huge and quite filling as are the sandwiches. The chips are tasty, especially the sweet potato, although I'd prefer a french fry option at times - I'm a big fan of fries. But the chips complement the sandwiches well. The atmosphere is always friendly and casual, great service, with a clean restaurant/restroom which is a huge factor for me.
