Came here to meet a friend for a late breakfast on a Saturday. It was a little busy, but finding a parking spot wasn't a problem. This place has a little "hip trendy" feel. So its a bit awkward because there is a sign asking you not to seat yourself until you've ordered your food. It can make you feel a little anxious because if its really busy, where are you going to sit. We saw people waiting around not knowing what to do. Let me start by saying our food took way too long to come out, I even saw someone walk out because they were waiting so long on their food. I saw someone waiting for their food who sat close to us, and it turned out to be a to-go and I was like darn, that felt like they waited 20+ mins. For what they have on their menu, I feel like they should be able churn out food orders pretty quick. A couple who ordered after us, got their full food order before we I got my French toast and everyone else at our table got their food. It felt like 10-15 min wait on my food after everyone at the table got theirs. There was also an issue with our order because we were waiting on a side, but then I guess it was never added to our order per our server. We sat in the front corner and you can see the whole cook area, this also means if ventilation isn't on point, your clothes will soak in that aroma, like my jacket did. Food itself was good, nothing bad about what we received, but the wait time on food was way too long. I was leaning a 3.5 star which would make it a 4 star review, but the hiccup with the order along with the wait time just killed my experience. This morning, before heading home to Las Cruces, we ate breakfast at the Burrow Cafe. We both had crepes, one with ham and Swiss and one with ham and cheddar. They were very good. Each came with a small arugula salad. Nice interior and the service was excellent. read more

We were looking for a change and found the Burrow cafe. It has a limited menu and it's good! It's also a bit pricey since everything is ala cart. It's open seating and you order at the counter. They give you a number and bring the food to your table. I had the crepe madame with home fries. My hubby had the French toast with side of eggs. My crepe had swiss cheese and ham inside with 2 eggs on top. The home fries were excellent crunchy on outside with seasoning and soft inside. The French toast was cooked just right with a hot soft center. Definitely worth the out of the way location. With the price we won't come every week but will be back. read more

Food is beyond delicious!! Flavors and textures are on point! Well thought out menu; great variety! The ambience in the restaurant is cute and inviting! Service was quick, we got our food and drinks within 15 minutes of arriving. I got an americano and it was strong and not bitter! I ordered the cheesecake crepe and it was one of the best crepes I've ever had! (We used to frequent Crepe Crepe and they closed and we haven't been able to find a replacement for it, but this was pretty close...just different). The home fried potatoes have a nice crisp and are super flavorful! My husband got the breakfast croissant and he thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Phenomenal spot for a brunch nibble and a hot latte. The hot take on a Monte Cristo Sandwich but in Crepe form was DELICIOUS. The heat in the green chile was perfect and the savory sweet combo was unique. The service was so friendly and helpful. We each had savory crepes. They were very good. Large portions of food, which was all made fresh. The service was a little slow because they keep a lean staff for the small location. Servers were all upbeat and pleasant, though. The biggest thing that keeps us from wanting to go back is the size of the place. Few tables and you can't reserve or even hold a table. No seating until all are there and ready to order. I certainly understand, but it's a factor in our choice of eatery. Our next visit will probably be for takeout instead. read more

I took out of town guests here and was sadly disappointed on 9/28 am. 2 people of our 6 got food timely, paid separately but same table number,the rest we had to go in and ask twice and it was at least 30+ minutes before they came out,we've never had that happen. They didn't even really apologize much less comp those who had to wait with a coffee or something. Also, IDK what they did to the potatoes, usually great and well seasoned, I happen to dislike cumin, and so did 2 others in our group, they never had it before that I ever tasted and idk why they added it, so much better without. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. Staff was very helpful and polite l. I ordered the lox bagel and an iced drip coffee with flavoring. The bagel was delicious !!! I had to stop eating to take a picture to leave a review . The coffee was smooth, non bitter which means they use quality coffee beans! Next time I'll try it black. This was my first time here but I'll be back. The space is open and inviting. You order and pay at the counter and they bring food and drinks to you. Our mochas were really good. We asked for whipped cream too and they happily obliged. My NM ham was really tasty. I got the green Chile on the side because I was warned it might be too hot. It wasn't but that's OK. It did have heat and great taste. The salad was fresh with lots of veggies and a great apple cider dressing. The staff is friendly. The baklava latte, a first for me, was really delicious if overly sweet. The crepes themselves were fairly on the heavy side, and several of them for our table were quite thick. Finally, got a chance to try the Burrows. Staff was friendly and had a variety of crepes (which ABQ has been recently lacking) and other breakfast items. It was a little windy to sit outside yesterday, which makes me sad that patio season is almost over, but the patio is perfect to pull your bike up next to. We got the berries n'suga crepe ($7.25), BLT ($9.75), and the sticky bun crepe with cream cheese, lots of pecans, and cinnamon for $9.25 - so a little pricey for 3 (may have seen a hair in mine but wasn't sure if that was my hair or not). The Lemon Berry Pie Crepe is excellent and every time I've had their fruit I see none of the fruit mistakes you often see at restaurants. No soft over-ripe berries or grapes, no green tipped strawberries, no brown bruised bananas, no gritty apples/pears. It appears that they don't have delivery any more since Selflane is dropping the ball, so that's a minus, but I'd imagine they'll work with one of the other delivery services soon enough. read more

We are always looking for a new brunch spot to try and decided to stop in here today. The interior is spacious, modern, and it was surprisingly empty. I tried the salmon crepe with side of fruit, and Hubs tried the croissant sandwich with potatoes. We thought the food was well-made and thoughtful. We enjoyed the addition of herbs in the eggs and in the cream cheese, and I loved the pickled red onions in mine. We were disappointed by the fact that our food and cappuccinos were brought in single use containers. We would have loved to see the food presented on plates and our cappuccinos in mugs. When we left, the guy in front rushed out to give us a treat for our dog. The time before, she was on her cellphone and not even acknowledging anyone who came near her. Is the Burrow this desperate? Also, they recently made changes to their menu. You used to get a side of potatoes, or any other side, and toast with your omelets. Now, they've removed the choice of a side. If you want a side, such as potatoes, you have to pay extra for it. While the food is good, I won't be going back. There are several other places to go in town that don't "skimp" on the side dishes, and people who actually know what the word "service" means.
