Checked this spot out for the first time earlier this month…read more Up until then, I had only heard good things, which makes me honestly concerned for the people of the east mountains. This is NOT good food! The restaurant has flies buzzing around the lobby and kitchen (in a restaurant during cold winter months IS a cause for concern). ALL of the food tasted like rancid bacon grease and filthy flat top grill! On which they use pancake batter to fry up their "biscuits" for the biscuits and gravy. The content of the burritos are abysmal except for egg. Biscuits and gravy were a sin. Refer back to the biscuit comment. The gravy has some potential but NOT when its made with the tinge of rancid, dirty grease. East Mountain folks, are you ok? She used to serve out of a motorhome, hence the Roach Coach!!

Services is always so kind and helpful. Love all the seating from inside to outside they have lots more seating! The inside dining room is so nice I'm a cool day with the cozy fireplace and outside is great when the weather is nice. Great place to go for breakfast, lunch, deserts and great drinks! Highly recommend!

There was a bit of live music on the patio after some rain. Both outside and inside spaces were plenty. The young server was very attentive and was on top of things. We went with friends so we sampled a few things. Our friends ordered the chicken bbq pizza and dry rub wings, while we ordered the chicken pesto and the New Mexican pizza. The thin crust on all pizzas was perfect, with a good balance between crunchy and soft. The green chile from the New Mexican pizza had a kick, the bbq chicken was tasty, and the pesto was smooth and mild. We all agreed that the pizzas needed more cheese. The wings were crispy but the rub didn't have flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. For our drinks, I got the Golden Ale while everyone else got La Madera. The Golden was smooth, lagers, with a bit of hoppiness. La Madera was a mild, dark, sweet ale that was quite good. Overall, this was a very nice experience on a rainy evening, with good brick oven pizzas and a nice dark beer. The wings, though could have been better. However, we are planning a second visit to try other items.

What they do have is great tasting beer, great tasting food, and fantastic service! We ate pizza, fries, Albuquerque turkey,& green chile burgers. All more flavorful than your average pub food. We sampled the stout, white wheat, red ale, and I particularly enjoyed their La Madera which was a dark lager. All and all, definitely worth seeking out for sure! While they sling food to help draw people in, you can tell the head brewer is proud of his beer!

Right next to Triangle Grocery on 14. The place was pretty busy when we arrived at 6:30pm but we were seated right away and had great service from our waitress and we even had the owner come around. I had the second street brewery Agua Fria Pilsner, which I hadn't had and REALLY liked it. It is also gluten removed!! Woo hoo! My hubby had the La Cumbra Malpais Stout, which he drinks at home anyway. I ordered the Rueben. Now listen, I LOVE a good Rueben and hate a bad one. Don't we all. This Reuben was the BOMB! Trail Rider smokes their own pastrami and holy cow was this sandwich good! It was tasty! The rye was yummy, the sauerkraut was on point and the meat.... OMG. Listen, I ate the entire sandwich!! And the fries were tasty with enough salt that I didn't need ketchup. My hubby had the smash burger and ate most of it. The rest was lovingly placed in a to go box. We also got the Platinum bar - peanut butter, rice crispies and chocolate and my hubby got the mudslide. Which was Oreos and chocolate mouse and whipped cream. Both were yummy. The service, care and scrumptious food will bring me back. Even from the Westside of Albuquerque because it was that good. Next time we need to try the pizza and the pasta but I will come back again and again for the Rueben. Thank you Trail Rider!!
