Normally, this is hands-down, one of my favorite subways. Today I'm really disappointed. You had one employee working by himself. This poor kid was completely slammed with customers and just had a little bit of a struggle to keep up. I will say he kept up the maintenance in the store as far as being cleansing. He was also probably one of the polite employees I've ever encountered in the store. I'm currently driving the sandwiches home so I can't tell you what they taste like. For his safety, he shouldn't be alone. And for his sanity, there should be another person there to help with stockingand keeping up with the pace that he had this evening. read more

Never have bread, or there machines are down. Multiple times I've walked in and was told I couldn't order. And had to turn right out

We only go out to eat once a month, based on our limited income. We stopped at the Tijeras, NM Subway hoping to have a nice meal. Super disappointed. I asked the staff person which was the freshest bread at that moment. He suggested one, we had a 6"-inch sandwich made from that loaf. The veggies to add to the sandwich were horrible. The lettuce was brown and wilted, the tomatoes had mold on them, and the spinach was soggy and gooey. I should have just walked out at that moment but made the bad decision to just continue with the order. I tried to get some of the watermelon cucumber drink, but that machine was gone. As were the cookies - none to be had. When we got home with the sandwiches, we saw that the bread was rock hard. Stale and definitely not fresh. We will never go there again. Sad, since there really aren't many places to eat in the area. read more

This is the second time I've stopped in this week, and the store is out of meatballs by 4pm. The worker behind the counter didn't know how to cook meatballs nor was he trained to cook more oatmeal cookies. Management- if you're not going to be on-site to monitor the levels of your product- it might make sense to train your staff. Thank you for looking into this. read more

The supervisor Robin is very rude, everyone I know will avoid going into this location when they see her car parked in front of the store. She is never nice. My mom use to love this store, everyone knew her by name. She would go everyday and now she hardly ever goes. I did an online order and the supervisor Robin did not toast my breakfast sandwich, (it did say toasted) or cook the bacon and left out vegetables. I worked for many years at a subway and you know you always have to cook the bacon, that can get you sick. As a supervisor she should know to ALWAYS toast a breakfast that has flat bread and bacon. She will always put only 1% of her time and effort to the customer/employees and the other 99% bad customer service and being rude. I never leave reviews but this is much needed. Owner I really hope you recognize and see how much business you are loosing because of this one person. I went in today and a customer was so upset because the manager threw the customers change at the customer because the customer was having a hard time hearing her, she then gave me my order and said "I don't give a $&@$ what that customer says about me and storms off to the back... umm last time I checked you don't care about anyone but yourself. I have heard a huge handfuls of complaints, it is a very small community and everyone knows everyone. I hope things get better. My family and myself personally are no longer going to go to this subway location again. and I have been going since I was a little girl when the location started in Cedar Crest. So very sad. I will return when this subway location starts caring about their customers, I know this is not the first complaint they have had about Robin. Also my moms coworker ordered a cinnamon dessert and a pretzel, the manager Robin puts it both in the same bag, my moms coworker asked if she can put it separate so the cinnamon does not get on the pretzel. Robin gave her a rude look and pretty much told her "do you want it or not" because Robin was not going to separate it. And guess what! Robin did not separate it because she does not care about her customers. Another time a friend of ours was right in the middle of ordering food from Robin and an employee came in to work, Robin went to the back where they prep food and started complaining about who knows what and just let my friend standing there for a long time. The manager Robin did not ask her to hold on, or apologize. Nothing. I can go on and on and on about the complaints but I just hope this gets ALL OF OUR POINTS MADE OUT. Terribly rude service and the quality of the vegetables has gone down badly. Used to go to this place a lot for take out but I am officially done. Ordered a Subway Club, got home and no roast beef, nor did I get 50% more meat I paid for. 4 thin slices of ham on a footlong is not 50% more meat. Called to say they forgot the roast beef, and the girl claimed she had no orders with roast beef. A subway club includes roast beef. I told her I'm looking at my receipt and it shows roast beef on their TWICE. she basically called me a liar (not directly, but her replies were saying I'm lying) and that we did not order nor receive a sandwich from there last night. It must be magic then, because my husband went there, saw them making his sandwich, and picked it up from there). I have the receipt to prove it. I want a refund, but nobody will answer the phone today to speak to a manager. If you can't look at your own menu board to see what goes on a certain sandwich, you need some more training. read more

Screwed up our online pickup order AGAIN. I'm sure it is difficult to find reliable workers, but you would think that hiring someone with basic reading skills wouldn't be that hard. Forgetting to put pickles on a sandwich is a forgivable oversight, but to miss "double meat," for which we are charged an extra $4 per sandwich, is not. If there were any other fast food options nearby, we would never order from here again, but unfortunately, there aren't. And I love how they ask for a tip for the "sandwich artist" when placing the order - I feel the need to include a tip just so that they don't do something disgusting to the food, but it certainly doesn't seem to help with accuracy. Would highly recommend going somewhere (anywhere) else. read more

Yes, if you want fast food in Tijeras, this restaurant is a good choice. Keeping it relative, compared to other Subways I've been to, this one is very clean and conveniently located for the area. I was greeted immediately and was pleased by the obvious care the staff here takes to make it presentable. I arrived just before lunch on a weekend and they were busily preparing the loaves of bread and various toppings. It was as if they expected the whole village to show up! Today the manager on duty, Robin was very rude to customers. She needs to not be working the front if she doesnt have any customer service skills. Customers were asking simple requests and she was snapping at everyone. This location is convenient for east mountain residents, but with that attitude we will drive into Abq or Edgewood for service. Today is 1/11/25 and I stopped at 9:00 to pick up a couple breakfast sandwiches. The girl behind the counter did not greet me or say anything. She just stood there. I said what bread and size of sandwiches I wanted. She asked me something so softly and I responded, I'm sorry I can't hear you and she screamed do you want them toasted. When they were out of the oven, she just stood there and didn't say anything. I told her what toppings. As I was paying another woman came to work. After paying the first girl walked off. She didn't say thank you or anything. I asked for a bag and the second woman grabbed a bag, shoved the sandwiches in and tossed it down. I responded, wow you two sure have some attitude and walked out after finding the napkins. The sandwiches were over toasted and crumbled as we ate them. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. The sandwiches were not good and the service was nonexistent. I will never go to this Subway again and encourage you to select another Subway location. I would rate them a zero if I could. read more

Subway needs to have a certain level of traffic in order to keep the ingredients fresh and turning over. This particular Subway clearly tries, but also doesn't quite make it. Although the staff was helpful enough, they were out of several things including bread when I stopped by in the middle of the day. I would stop again but probably not soon. read more

I have to say all the employees here are such a delight they're always attentive to you and make you feel. I never had breakfast at Subway. Thought I would give it a whirl. I asked the person behind the counter Martha what do they have for breakfast. She said you want a 6 or 12 inch what kind of bread do you have besides a regular bread. Said they have flatbread. Great I will try that said to get your choice of everything here I said okay how many choices of meat do you usually get with it. She said whatever you want I said in the price stays the same she goes to know . So I said what's the price for two meats she goes the prices are up there. I stopped at this location, as I was returning from Arizona, to Florida (3pm/5-25-14). Asked for a veggie pattie. Found it odd that the young lady behind the counter had to go into the back to retrieve it. Never the less, after I left with the sandwich, I stopped in Moriarty (20 miles away) to eat it. I discovered that the young lady ( even though she placed into the microwave and pressed a button) did not heat the pattie; as it was cold to the touch. To confirm this, I heated it at a gas station in Moriarty and it was fine. As a point of information...I am a retired African American educator. She was a young european woman. Worst manager EVER. No idea about customer service. Makes the rules up as she goes along. Doesn't honor subway coupons that clearly state they are for ANY sub. Doesn't stock items that are clearly on the menu. Leaves crew of two during lunch rush with a line out the door. Refuses requests at her whim. Revolving door of employees. Very poorly managed. The food is what one would expect from Subway cant go too wrong there. It's the only place in town and this one has the attitude to go along with it. They have been out of Meatballs the last few times My mother and I have been their. One of the same ladies who has served us keeps saying "We are out of meatballs I forgot I need to make more" that's fine it's not a big deal ,but she was being rude about it. Today they only had enough meatball left to make a six inch because she "Forgot to make more" While just standing there. Also, while she was wrapping my 6 inch meatball sandwich up she smashed it so when I got home and opened it there was tomato sauce everywhere. That same lady today was also, doing her hair in the middle of the front where they make the sandwiches and messing with her hair trying to fix her bun.
