First time eating at Jimmy John's. I asked for a foot long whole wheat veggie. The girl cashier clarified the veggie options and I paid. Got my drinks for my wife and I. When my number was called I got a short little thing that did not resemble what I ordered. So then I was told the Whole Wheat was on sliced bread. Well it was only a single serving, so I had to place an order for another. Waiting, waiting finally a lady asked to f such and such was my order and I told her know unless they suddenly had Whole wheat subs. She checked on the order and then has some one remake it. I have visited this location a handful of times. Every time has been a good experience as far as food and services goes. Jimmy Johns developed an app they where you can order and pay in advice for delivery or pick up. You also get rewards by using this system. I believe for signing up, you get a sandwich valued at $8 or under for free. Today was the day I decided to use the app to place my first order and put that reward to use. I was able to customize each sandwich easily to our liking and once we were ready to check out it prompted Apple Pay to finalize . I rolled into the drive thru, told them I placed an order through the app, and they had me pull forward. They verified my name, handed me my food, and off I went. We enjoyed two sandwiches for under $10 tonight. Our sandwiches met JJ standards, but the only drawback was the side of guacamole I ordered. The taste is bland, it's watery, and expensive ($1.70) for its value. Also, this location is near Costco and Home Depot. If you have an itch for coffee to go with your JJ, then hit Rise and Roast that shares the same parking lot with them. Final vote: We will return, just no more guacamole! read more

I'm not one to buy into the commercial hype (been there, done that) about how fast they are and so on, I just want a quality sandwich. I just recently discovered this location, and it still has that vibe of being REALLY new, but based on other reviews apparently she's been around for a good three years now. Stopped in for a sandwich and thought we might be there for a while. One person working behind the counter and then 15 minutes later joined by another person. Both were very entertaining and pleasant to talk with. Got our sandwiches inside of 10 minutes despite the crowd. We were in and out and as the commercial says, they are fast, very fast! Jimmy John's is kind of expensive for a fast food sandwich but it was good. Not particularly the fastest... We sat outside which appeared to have just as much seating as the interior. I will choose this place over any other restaurant just because of their customer service. Every single time I visit this location, the customer service is amazing every time. I've only ever used the drive thru at this location but the people who work the window are so polite and courteous. Not a lot of places with good food AND good service these days. I prefer their subs over Subway but they are a tad bit expensive for the amount of toppings you get. Also like others, my order is wrong most of the time and the few times they "fixed" it, it was still wrong. I do wonder why they have so many employees working when every time I've gone, there's less than 4 customers. The other day I counted 8 yet it was only another customer and I in there at noon. Absolutely brutal night in my hotel room as my body tried to violently rid itself of every drop of fluid in my digestive track, and then some. So I have never been to a Jimmy John's before. I can only imagine this is a typical experience. This location has only recently opened. It is conveniently located near Kirtland Air Force Base and Sandia National Labs which may be a plus for some. The sandwiches were large and fresh. The service was fast. There were 13 employees that I could see working at the same time which seemed a bit too many, but I'm not sure what a lunch rush looks like there. My 3 star rating is merely for the taste and non unique nature of the sandwiches. It tasted very much like a sandwich one might find at grocery store deli. Nothing special. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. The portions were large, but again, not very unique or special. Jimmy Johns is known for their delicious sandwiches that are speedy fast. This particular jimmy Johns followed through on the delicious sandwiches, but not in the fast service. We pulled up to the drive thru and had to wait about 5min minutes before someone spoke to us. Then, the person in front of us did not receive their sandwich for another 7-10min. Then, I had to wait 10min at the window. Altogether, I spent about 20min in the drive thru. I go to jimmy johns because I love the sandwiches and fast service. But if it's in your slogan that you have very fast service, then you need to follow through on that. Overall, not happy with the service I was provided at this location. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Jimmy John's. This location is good. Not Great so far... Employees were loud and messing around last time I came. Sandwiches were a little skimpy - not as much lettuce, tomato, etc. Hopefully the new location will improve once it's been here for a while. I do like it though. This location is closer to my house than the one all the way on Academy. It's not bad. UPDATE: Seems like that one day I came they were just messing around. This was my first time at a Jimmy Johns, and it was horrible. I really wanted to love it because it's so close to my home. We went through the drive thru and the woman taking our order was extremely rude. I know that this business prides themselves on fast service, but that doesn't mean the workers should act like we're inconveniencing them. Every time my husband tried to order, the worker interrupted him which made ordering even a longer process. But whatever, maybe she's having a rough day. We pay for the food and drive home. When we got home I noticed that she got my order wrong. I ordered a country club and I got a veggie club. Now, I can understand how it was misunderstood but if she wasn't rushing us and allowed my husband to speak, then it probably would not of happened. So to avoid any drama, I just called to see if we can come by and get the correct order and the man on the phone was very nice about it. We got there and got the new sandwich and he even threw in a cookie. Then we get home to find that they got the order wrong again! By then I was just over it, too much drama just for a sandwich. Decided to try this location since it's near the base and I'd never been to a Jimmy John's before. The sandwich was fine, but I won't be returning. There is nothing unique or extraordinary about their sandwiches so I'm not sure why they advertise them as "gourmet". Only one type of bread, only one type of cheese (and most of their sandwiches don't come with cheese, you have to pay extra!), can't get anything toasted, limited variety in the menu (no steak sandwich options, no meatball, no chicken, etc.), no special dressings or sauces, limited vegetables, average amount of meat...you get the point. Don't waste your time, much better sandwiches and way more options available at Subway, Quiznos, or Firehouse. read more

Man where to even begin. I have always been a jimmy johns fan especially over most sandwich/sub shops but I still like others equally, a year or two ago I had started working a salary job at a business within their delivery range and was always swamped, rarely had time to leave the damn place. Since my very first online order at work I've been absolutely stunned what a superb operation they're running. My order would be at the door no later then 10 maybe 12 minutes after I would place my order, that's sandwich, chips, drink and sometimes cookie... I know you think I sound crazy but literally my order had to come up they had to prepare a sandwich fill my drink get all of the contents over and drive that to my place of business all down crazy Eubank at that??? Really, no wonder they advertise wicked fast... Its amazing!!!! Since then I've become dedicated and loyal to this location and what makes it even better is they have a drive through, two thumbs up to that. Always a good group of employees in store, always respectful, place is always pretty clean and cool inside. And if you're running a business, trust me you would rather have people complain about being cold then complain about being hot.
