I called late in the afternoon regarding removal of a bee hive - as I had been stood up by another company. As soon as I called I was told that they were in the area and would arrive at my home shortly. Before I knew it a wonderful gentleman showed up at my home already to deal with these bee's. Within an hour my hive including the Queen Bee & her worker bees had been contained and were being re-homed to a farm in Riverside. An excellent value on my money as I had no clue how to deal with these bees- Quick service Great prices Fantastic service If bees are a concern definitely contact Webster's Bees! read more

Robert is awesome! He's friendly. He's accommodating in that he was able to fit us into his schedule even though we called him the night before. The price is reasonable, especially since it was last-minute and the size of the hive he removed (see photo). Remember, support small and local businesses! read more

Webster's Bees - They created their hives in the trash can! - Pest Control Near Me - Downey, California

We've had bees in the trunk of a tree in our front yard for about a year. They would buzz around and I had to be careful trimming the tree at times, but they were relatively harmless. Recently, however, there seemed to be more of them...a lot more of them...so I figured I'd better do something sooner rather than later. I called Robert Webster on a Thursday afternoon and left a message, then I followed right up with a text. I included a short video of the buzzing bees and sent it to him with a note asking for an estimate. He called me back and left a short message and then texted me back with a quote, so he was very responsive. I thought the price was extremely fair, so I texted right back and scheduled for him to come out at 8 a.m. the next morning. As I asked him to do, he texted me when he was on his way. I would say by 8:30 a.m. he was in full process and by 9:30 a.m. he was gone...and so were the bees...yay! By nature, I'm a curious person, so I asked a lot of questions and he was very nice and answered them. He was very professional, very knowledgeable and seemed to like his job. He said he only does removals in a humane manner, which was important to us, and provided a 3-month guarantee on his work. He said there might be a few straggler bees for a week or two, and there were, but two weeks later the was no sign of any bees. Fingers crossed. A week or so later after he came out to my house, a neighbor had an unrelated bee issue, I recommended Robert and he came out the next day for her also. Hopefully, I'll never have any issues with bees again, but if I ever do, Robert is my guy!!! read more

Referred to Robert by another bee removal business. He came out within the hour at the end of his day to remove a spring hive forming on top of my chimney (and dropping bees into my house below). Reasonable service fee. Good, quick work (30 min). Hope to never have bees again. read more

Webster's came quickly to assess the problem, and provided clear pictures of the situation. Super friendly gent, highly recommended for any bee swarm and wasp nests. read more

Had a severe wasp problem, 10+ nests underneath the eaves along the perimeter of the house and tons of wasps flying around. Robert came out same day and took care of the nests and haven't seen any wasps out since. Very efficient and prompt service, highly recommend. read more

Recently had a severe bee hive in between the roof at the corner of my back guest house inside a corner closet. It had been there slowing growing for four years. My neighbor suggested last year to use his pest control company and they came out twice and could not get rid of the hive. This year the bees grew more and were destroying the wood siding more. I found Robert on Yelp and explained to him my urgent need for removal. Robert came out and quickly explained in detail the extraction process and guaranteed his work. Sure enough Robert came out and extracted the queen bee and extracted all the other bees. I was impressed with how he physically set up and was able to get the bees to cooperate. Robert's 40+ years of experience or more shows. He even gave me recommendations for monthly pest control. Would recommend and hire Robert in a heartbeat. read more

QUALITY and SPEEDY service. I had called Robert about a been infestation in our wall and he was ready to come an hour later. He is such a friendly and knowledgeable guy. He took a look at the location of the bees and explained the process and price. Once we agreed, he started the job right away. There is a 3month guarantee on the job. I would recommend Robert for other jobs in the future. read more

Around 2pm, my mom saw a beehive starting to form when earlier in the day there was nothing. I immediately called several companies I found online (including a very common one that starts with a "T") and despite their websites stating "24hr/7day Service", no one was available til tomorrow/Monday. I found Robert's number on this site and called him around 2:40pm & by 4:30pm the Bees were gone. The price was reasonable & he was friendly & very knowledgeable! I also loved that he will be relocating the bees with a local beekeeper. Definitely recommend Robert & his company! Hopefully I don't need to call him again, but I will should I need to. read more

Absolutely 100 percent recommend Robert. Came in, looked at the problem and informed how much it would be. Pricing was reasonable and got the job done in less than 30 minutes. read more

Thank God for Robert at Webster's Bees! Two days ago I was watering the backyard, and I saw a "large softball / small melon" size hive of bees by the exterior garage eaves. I called Robert, and even though it was after 5pm, he picked up and said he would come the next day at 10am. It had been 3 years since he first came out. And before he removed the new cluster of bees, he did a yard patrol of where he removed bees from 3 years ago. He pointed out that a new batch had come back (though not a full colony like last time - which was 40-50 pounds of bees!). He said it was about a basketball size hive of bees. This time, he did not have to remove all the fence boards, because there was no honeycomb there yet. He drilled holes in the fence and vacuumed them out, to be delivered to a bee keeper later that evening. He sprayed Copper-Green Brown, which repels them. They were attracted to come back in the first place by the smell of bee urine. I bought a gallon of Copper-Green Brown at Home Depot for $30.57 including tax, and a good Zep spray bottle (not the cheap ones at the dollar stores). Eventually I will have to replace all those scented fence boards, but until then, I can periodically spray Copper-Green Brown. Attached is a photo of him pointing to the drill holes. The area above him is where he removed the fence boards three years ago to remove the colony and honeycomb. He did everything in less than an hour. I cannot recommend Robert strongly enough. It is great to support a family owned business too. read more

I wish I could give Robert 100 more stars ! He's the best!! He is so polite, professional, and he kept me calm lol I'm sure he heard how panicked I was over the phone hahah He truly blessed me today and I couldn't have asked for better service he REALLY went above and beyond. I called him and he was able to service my home within 2 Hrs. I explained that I had an exterminator out at the property early in the morning who sprayed the bees but now they were migrating inside my children's bedroom window and I was terrified bees were flying everywhere inside my home He came in there like a true bee whisperer and took care of it. Long story short, he has the best prices and does an excellent job. Next time he'll be the FIRST place I call. Thank you so Much Robert. read more

So the last time I had Robert out here, as all customers do, ,I thanked him and told him I hope to never see him again. So much for that plan. Today at 11:30am bees swarmed my front porch. By 12,, I was in contact with Robert. He told me 2 hours. By then the bees had settled into a nice ginourmos hive, and he arrived in 2 hours and 10 minutes. Needless to say,, his service was perfect, again. He eliminated them, sealed a hole, and did a sweep of my property to make sure nothing else was around and he check the neighbors too to make sure. SO if you want the best,, this is your man. read more

Robert gave great service! he showed up the same day I called. He got the job done very quick. Thank you Robert.

I was a long time client of Webster's Bees, sent him many new clients and even wrote him excellent reviews in the past, but at this point I'm am so disappointed in his behavior and lack of professional courtesy. I had a huge painting project planned for months, and I knew about a section of the roof that had a bee issue so I contacted Robert again because I knew him and trusted his work. He booked an appointment with me for 6/13/23 at 8am. Then, he sent me a message on Monday 6/12, asking to reschedule his appointment for Thurs 6/15 between 8-10am. I said ok for Thursday, but that morning, it was raining. So, being concerned for his welfare, I contacted him to tell him it was raining and he suggested changing the appointment again to Saturday 6/17 at 8am. No problem. I wanted to be accommodating. That Sat. morning, he didn't show up. I called him, concerned that something was wrong or something had happened to him. No response nor call back. I left several concerned messages, for days no reply, no call back , no text, no response. I honestly thought the worst and was sincerely worried. A week went by, still no reply but I called one final time and he finally picked up the phone. I asked him if everything was okay, but he seemed confused and said that his wife told him he needed to get an MRI for his rotator cuff/shoulder, and he'd be unable to do any work. Seemed like a very odd response, especially since he never even called me back to tell me he couldn't make the appointment or even apologized for missing it. I felt like he picked up the phone by mistake and was just trying to avoid the job....but why would anyone do that? But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and wished him the best in the recover of his injury. I asked him if he had another person he could refer and he sent me the name of another person, who also never replied to several phone calls. I even let him know that his referral was not replying and if he could refer another person? But no response. I was perplexed and very frustrated because I needed to have the bee issue resolved before the start date of the painting project, but that never happened. The project has started and I still don't have this bee issue resolved, so I went onto yelp to find another person. However, I now see, from the dates of his most recent reviews, that Robert was working all along. Robert, If you didn't want to do the job, why didn't you just tell me the reason? Or say you're too busy or you don't want the work? I don't understand why you feel that you can just avoid a loyal customer's calls without any response It's very unprofessional behavior on top of a lack of courtesy for your customers time. I've used your services since 2011 and have sent you many referrals and honestly don't think I deserved to be ghosted like this....so hence this bad review. read more

Webster's Bees - The hole in my garage because queen bee was in my wall. - Pest Control Near Me - Downey, California

We found a bunch of bees entering/exiting a hole in our stucco wall and realized we had the beginnings of a bee hive IN our wall. I called a few people and Robert was not only the best priced but was also able to come handle the problem within an hour! The best part is that he smokes out the bees and takes them to a bee farm rather than terminating them. Plus, he was able to plug up our bee hole! Robert is quick, thorough, and professional. Highly recommend. read more

Stop what you're doing, give Robert Webster a call NOW. We came home to 5000 bees in the backyard after vacation. He came to the house within an hour after making the call, at a very reasonable price (I called around). He's super cool, laid back, friendly, and informative and most of all -- a pro at what he does. Robert humanely removes the bees (DOES NOT KILL THEM) and transfers them to a friend who is involved in the honey business. He vacuums them up, would you believe? Awesome. Please, don't waste anymore time looking around. Call Robert NOW. You'll be glad you did. read more

I am so great full of Webster's Bees. After my husband and I witnessed a bee swarm in our back yard that entered a shed in our yard we knew we had a BIG problem. Webster's bees came right out and removed the queen and the bees. They would be taken to a man that has 7 acres of hives for honey. The bees were saved and we are great full for calling them. The cost was more then fair. I wouldn't call anyone else! read more

Webster's Bees - Robert is doing his thing, clearing out my bee infestation. Thank God I found this guy. - Pest Control Near Me - Downey, California

I had some bees that I needed removed in my garage prior to starting construction on it. I had no idea where to turn or how much it would cost but after receiving numerous quotes I was referred to Robert by a friend who had hired him to do a job for him. Robert was not only prompt and able to work around my schedule he came in at the lowest price out of all my estimates and had the job done in under an hour. Ive recommended Robert to numerous friends and family and they have also had a positive experience in working with him. Ignore the negative review on here that person is spewing negativity strictly to seem like the outlier, we all know that person in real life who has to zig when everyone zags and that lone negative reviewer is no different. No one looks forward to having bees in their walls but in the event that it happens I'm glad that there is someone out there like Robert that can help us all out. read more

I'm so happy to have found Webster's Bees! Maybe 2 months ago I contacted Robert to help remove a hive from inside of a newly acquired building. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to estimate how long the hive had been there, sure enough after talking to some neighbors they confirmed that it had been there for about 10 years!!! Robert quickly got to work tearing down a section of the wall to access the hive, he explained the process and I gave him the green light to remove as much wall as needed. Shortly after removing as many bees as possible for relocation I saw and heard the GLOBS of honey, honey comb and rot being scrapped out of the walls. I couldn't believe how much there was, he even said he found a lizard! After he was done he cleaned it all up and took it with him to discourage more bees from being attracted to the scent and coming back. I waiting some time and there were a few stranglers here and there but after some time absolutely no more bees. I could have easily contacted an exterminator but I believe the best route is contacting someone who truly cares about the bees and provides a level of service like no other. Thanks Again Robert! read more

I'm excited to write this review. My mother n law was having bee issues. I was going to solve the issue myself and decided I didn't want to get stung 500 hundred times. We were going to call one of the massive companies but knew they would try to sell us stuff we didn't need. I'm happy we called a local company. Plus, I was able witness my first bee extraction by Robert in person. He was fast, clean, knowledgeable, and friendly. He quoted a fair price. My wife and mother n law are happy . He came out promptly for a new small bee hive under our shed and removed them to a local bee farmer for a small fee. He was here less than an hour.
