Went for dinner on a Tuesday night (no reservation but I recommend you make one before coming). We had to wait roughly 20-25 for a table. We got a booth table right near the kitchen. Be warned being by the kitchen is loud! Which is one of the reasons for my ratings. They sounded as though they kept slamming things that didn't seem necessary. We had Jennifer as our waitress who was great. I ordered the 26th Street Shrimp and a margarita. I loved the fact that they noted gluten free options right on the dinner menu. It was really good. My son ordered off the kids menu (he's 8) - ordered the buttered noodles (no Parmesan) and it came with green beans, applesauce, French fries, ketchup, and a cookie. Then after dinner if you want to upgrade to a cookie sundae you can! And we did! He loved it all. 2005, I'm on a baseball trip with my two younger boys (the two older boys were in College). We started in Pittsburgh and ended in Minneapolis. Chicago at the time was a two gamer: the Sox and the Cubs. On the Sox Sunday game it was 105° in Chicago and it was brutal being outside. The game was over and we head towards our hotel, but stop at the Weber Grill restaurant on State Street. Inside it was a cool 68° and it was the nicest climate we've felt in days! The staff was accommodating to everyone filtering in and that was my only memory of The Weber Grill. Move the clock up 21 years and I am now living in Chicago find myself alone, due to the fact I chose to stay home to watch The Masters golf event while my family went to a garden party. So, I decided to go back to The Weber Grill, just up the street where I live now. I got the same cordial reception as I did years ago. This large restaurant was very busy, so I picked a high top bar table and a stool and proceeded to order their all-day Sunday BBQ brisket special with two sides: Coleslaw and Bourbon baked beans. My waiter was jovial and helpful and my dinner was quite good. The portions were large and my tab was not; I call that a win / win. read more

We came here for a late lunch. The place was mostly empty with a few customers at 1 pm on a Saturday, but the food exceeded expectation. We ordered the sticky ribs and pretzel for appetizers. The ribs were really good! The meat fell off the bones and the sauce was flavorful! The pretzel was very soft, but I tasted some sourness to it. I'm not a huge fan of the pretzel, but my husband loves it. The Big G burger was also his favorite. Patty was tender and juicy, and the buns were soft, which made it way better than many other burgers.The salad was fresh. I don't think I saw roasted squash, but maybe the orange cube was it? The orange cube tasted like carrots though. The shrimp was fresh but a bit too salty for me. Overall, good food and service. Will come back again next time. read more

Weber Grill is a solid staple that I like to visit regularly. It doesn't get particularly crowded in the evenings and it's not too large. The booths are a nice size, great for groups or dining alone. The complimentary bread and butter is a highlight on its own. The food is always consistent and the quality aligns with the price point. Came here on a Saturday night with a reservation but the restaurant is huge so I think we could have walked right in. The service was really friendly and attentive. I got the signature G burger and my spouse got the steak and fries. I ordered my burger medium rare and they did a good job cooking it to my liking. We both felt the entree portions were a bit small so we ended up ordering the calamari to fill us up and we're glad we did since it was pretty good. If we're in the area again for a show we'd definitely consider coming back. read more

Pretty solid spot for American food in Chicago. One of my friends has been coming here for almost 20 years and loves this place so I've been a few times. We went to dinner tonight and unfortunately his favorite server hector was not in. I can't remember his name but our server was super friendly and took great care of us. We ordered the crabcake to start and it was flavorful and good. The chili my friend ordered he said he loved - his favorite is the steak and black bean and this one was a pinto and chicken. Although not hai favorite chili of theirs, he said this one was very good. I ordered the beef can chicken after he and my server recommended it and my friend ordered the bbq chicken. The beef can chicken was a MASSIVE portion and the chicken was incredibly flavorful and extremely juicy. The au jus was incredibly tasty and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were both perfectly done. I wish I had more room because I could eat this all day! My friend loved his chicken as well. Overall, I think this is a really solid spot for dinner. It is business casual, so I think you can come in sort of casual and maybe a little dressed up but it's not too fancy or anything. I decided to pick up some late lunch and it went pretty well. I decided to go with their BBQ meatloaf, which is made with Angus beef and seems to have been somehow grilled at one point, which is interesting. It had great flavor, was tender, and of good quality (aka not full of gristle). I do wish it was a bit more saucy, but the host was friendly and ensure I had a side of bbq sauce. Still, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pour some bbq sauce heated from a saucepan and have the meatloaf either sitting on top or get smothered by the sauce. I also wish the green beans were more tender as I felt like a rabbit eating it (even my poor plastic fork couldn't pierce them and I had to get them stuck between the prongs), but that's just my preference. It's just too bad the Toast carryout site doesn't have an option to add a note for well-done veggies. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfection and most definition doesn't need a gravy of any kind to help it. I also got banana pudding. I had made an order to go through DoorDash that let's just say never came through but charged me. When I called the restaurant to see if by chance they had an order the sweet young lady connected me with Vladimir who was so kind & understanding. He was happy to create a pick up order and provided a complimentary item to make up for something that clearly wasn't their fault. That level of service and going above and beyond really made my day! Eric and Lily greeted me and were excellent in their people skills. I came for lunch and got one of my favorite meals here: ribs! (only 1/2 slab) I placed an order to go. I would have stayed but had other commitments. 1/2 slab of ribs and my 2 sides (a double of cold slaw due to my allergies) were my chosen lunch items. The ribs, which I feel are the best in Chicago, were epic. Soft but biteable. Perfect amount of rib sauce too. I'd change nothing. The sauce is the perfect flavor. The cole slaw is mediocre at best. A different flavor, and if that's parsley in there --dial it back. I think they could do better with the sides (more allergy -friendly) but it does not negate how fantastic their food is. Best ribs IMHO. They even have a Grill Room for private parties. I used to frequent Weber in Oak Brook area but I think this one supersedes it. End up at this location after our first dinner choice was a busy. It was raining pretty hard so we wanted to find something close. as we walked in, we were seated promptly. Our server came by quickly and took our drink orders. We ordered margaritas honestly they were not the best. We had the crabcake as our appetizer it was fluffy and fresh and had a good flavor. My friend had the grilled pizza which was actually pretty tasty and the other two had the 26th St. shrimp. The shrimp was a little spicy, but it had a good flavor . For my main I had the beer, canned chicken with the garlic, roasted potatoes. The chicken was very moist and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes were bomb. Everyone enjoy their meal. I've been to the Schaumburg location a few times over the years, but never to this one, so when in the area we came in for a large business dinner. Our server, Hector was very attentive and helpful... he did a very nice job keeping an eye on the table and bringing us what we needed! The menu is loaded with so many delicious-sounding items to choose from! The only issue is execution needs some work. The line-caught halibut they had on special was overcooked when we got it, so it was dry and not as flavorful as it should have been. The jerk chicken thighs (als on special) were dry and overcooked as well, not much flavor from them. Their side salad to start with had warm, partially wilted, definitely not crispy/cool lettuce, which made it not very appealing and their homemade Thousand Island dressing was bland. Some good things were their mac & cheese and mashed potato sides - they were both excellent! Their street corn appetizer (on special) was fresh and very tasty and their chicken wings were excellent. Banana pudding also came out quite nice. Overall, for the low prices they charge and the decent service they provided, I'm giving them 4 stars, even though there were issues with the entrées. I'd definitely return, but I would just talk to them about expectations prior to ordering and make sure we don't have a repeat of over-cooked items. Haven't been at Weber grill in years. This place is an experience if love to grill. Watching the grills work is an amazing opportunity. I sat in the bar near the grills. It was fun checking out the grills and flames cooking steaks, chops, ribs and other meats. I loved watching the grilled food being served. Anything coming out looked delicious. The Sunday night service was busy. People were coming in for food. Oh yes, plus food app pickup as well. The overall food experience. The service was good, they were busy. The food was awesome my bacon, cheese burger was juicy and my chicken wings were perfect. Reminds me of my grilled chicken wings. The prices are fair, the restrooms are clean. I will post pictures. This was my first (and my husband's second) experience at Weber grill. I must say, the food is phenomenal. Everything was cooked to specification, and tasted delicious. Even my kids polished off their plates. I found the kid's meals a good value for under $10 with drink included and came TV dinner style with a meat, starch, veg and cookie. My filet trio was a-mazing! Best steak dinner I've had in a long time. My favorite was the Gorgonzola encrusted steak with caramelized onions, with the red wine reduction sauce a close second. Hubby loved his burger (2nd time getting this and does not disappoint), he especially loved the decadent addition of Gruyère cheese. Our only let down this service was our waitress. She gave me corporate vibes. The last visit (according to hubby) the bread came without asking and the waiter was attentive and generous, making sure the kid's meals were put in straight away. This time, we had a reservation, we were seated, it took about 10-15 min for our waitress to acknowledge us, by that time we were starving and able to give our full order. It took another 10ish to get our drinks. She got one of my child's drink orders wrong and was low key passive aggressive about it when we pointed it out. We were so hungry and asked about the bread and she informed us that it is certainly available on request. That's odd. Why are there 4 bread plates placed out? Whatever, that was the vibe of our whole night. I'm only giving 5 stars this experience because the last service (according to hubby) was fantastic and all the food was on point at both visits. Needless to say, I needed to leave to go back to the hotel with the kids to signal the waitress that we were ready to pay. SMH. It's fine, but would hope for more attentive service in the future. Our experience at this Weber location has always been excellent. Our last visit, the day after Christmas (2025), was exceptional. With out of town guests visiting we decided this would be one of the places we should take them and they couldn't have been more pleased. Our group of five started with the Hill Country Egg Rolls and the soup du jour (chicken tortilla). From there we enjoyed the pork chops (two huge portions per serving), the prime rib, and the steak and fries. Along with these items we had several different drinks: Club Paloma, Pineapple Mai Tai, a traditional Old Fashion, a lemonade, and a bottle of cerveza. For dessert we shared several banana puddings and the special Egg Nog Creme Brulee. The waitstaff is excellent. We request Veselis K who is personable, knowledgable, and a sweetheart (yes I said that!) We look forward to our next dining experience here. read more

I got a special: The Hickory Smoked Salmon Dip with crispy potato pancakes, smoked Canadian salmon, dill tartar sauce, capers, and onion. This was so full of flavor - just bursts in your mouth. Took my son here for a Saturday night dinner since it's been a long time since I've been to a Weber Grill. Had the prime rib and the steakhouse burger, with a couple of ribs. Prime rib was delicious with the au jus (the horseradish was just okay). Mashed potatoes and fries were fine. The onions on the steakhouse burger were NOT caramelized so that was a little disappointing. The banana pudding looked awesome, but they ran out (another disappointment as it was a Sat night, how do you run out?). The brussel sprouts get a 5 out of 5. Exceptional. The chicken left a little to be desired. It needed more flavor. The mashed potatoes were horrible. Never again. Our first time in Chicago and what do we stumble across? Giant Weber grills standing guard like culinary statues. Obviously, we had no choice but to make a reservation that night--and best decision ever. Inside, the atmosphere was laid-back and fun, the kind of spot where you instantly know you're in for a good time. Our waiter, Danny, was the MVP--super knowledgeable and just the right amount of charming. I went adventurous with the filet flight (and swapped in mashed potatoes because priorities), while my cousin went big with the New York strip. Every bite? Absolute perfection. The service was amazing we had Dan in the bar area on 4/4 5:00pm after seeing the Wiz! He was amazing we never had to ask for anything. He was always 2 steps ahead of our big group. He has an excellent attitude he had several tables but we felt like his only two tables he was extremely attentive. We both got Delmonico steak, medium rare his was very rare and had a lot of gristle in it and mine was closer to medium well. For drinks we both had smoked manhattan and they were delicious. WARNING!! When I received my bill, they had added 18% tip to the bill and left a line for additional tip. Show a group of suggestions of 2%,4% .... . They have a QR code for paying your bill with your cell phone wallet. I had never tried this method of payment. Picking the QR code the bill came up on my cell phone as before on the hard copy except it filled in the additional tip line with an ADDITIONAL 20% TIP for a total tip of 38%. Weber Grill also add an additional service charge of about 4% that goes to the restaurant, but you can ask for that to removed and they did. My friends and I stumbled upon this restaurant by mistake. We originally made reservations for a different restaurant that was a few blocks away but decided to not dine there for several reasons (not out cup a tea to sum it up). We had made up in our minds we were going to go to the car and drive to a different restaurant. As we were walking back to the garage we parked at, we noticed Weber Grill, and boy, are we glad we did. We walked in, was greeted and sat immediately. Carlos came and introduced himself to us, took our drink order and gave us time to look at the menu. When he brunt us our drinks, 2 out of the 3 was not to our liking, he remade our drinks with no problem and even replaced the 3rd drink at no additional cost. Carlos's customer service was superb. I normally don't write reviews bad nor good, but i felt like his services warranted a great review. If you go, please ask for Carlos he is a bartender but on certain days he's a waiter as well. Ventured to this restaurant after visiting the Bally's casino. Lucky for us it was happy hour time. Happy Hour is from 4 to 6pm during the weekday. Happy Hour offered discount drinks and appetizers. We sat at the bar so we could watch the Rose Bowl. For drinks we grabbed Old Fashion and Handmade Margarita. Both were tasty. Fortunately the Margarita was on HH so only $7. Also we were able to see how they infuse the whiskey right at the bar. Super cool. You can taste the essence of the materials come through in the whiskey. For food we tried two appetizers. We opted for the sticky ribs and roasted spinach corn dip. The appetizers were satisfying. We also opted to share the Big G burger. Big G delivered and had the best charboiled taste. This restaurant was a nice experience. Decor was neat. Staff were friendly. Steakhouse vibe but not stuffy. There are three different dining areas. If I can back I would love to sit in a comfy booth facing the kitchen. Value was good for meal. We spent about $100 which included gratuity and taxes. Greeted and seated right away, bread delivered to the table, and our server appeared for drink order YaY! Old Fashioned was delicious. We did not order appetizers we wanted food. My son ordered the Prime Bone-in Ribeye rare - cooked perfectly and he said it was delicious and tender. Daughter ordered the filet medium rare and it was cooked perfectly, tender, and flavorful. Meatloaf!!! I've had it before and I love their meatloaf - it's a big portion and honestly I should have only had one slice because I ate 2 and I was uncomfortably full - kids ate the last slice.
