Pretty Cool Restaurant it's a bit pricey i was there in Dec'2024, and I guess it's near the Magnificent Mile area ( Michigan Avenue ) which is considered like the Upper East Side or Fifth Avenue Areas in New York anyhow, I regret I did not go to Walgreens around the corner and fill my hotel room fridge with some snacks, but it's all good this restaurant was Connected to the hotel I stood at " Hilton Garden inn Chicago Downtown Magnificient Mile" no need to go outside just go thru the sliding doors from the hotel lobby If I'm in the area. I wouldn't mind coming back. The server is a light Skin African-American man with glasses he was very helpful and very nice (I forgot to get his name ), it's right near the Nordstrom Department store, and the CTA Subway system is near the " Grande station", Two Thumbs up keep up the good work !!!! A great place with a delicious theme! Stopped in here the other night for dinner and we loved it. I picked it not realizing Weber Grill meant Weber charcoal grills, but almost everything is cooked on giant Weber grills and it gives everything a fantastic flavor. The waiter helped us with a few suggestions and shared some of his favorites. I got the Beer Can Chicken, which was mouth-wateringly moist and flavorful, and my husband got the pork chops, which were the perfect blend of sweet and smoky and are served with a tangy mustard that gives the pork a little zip. A great meal with fantastic service in a gorgeous environment. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood. read more

As a huge disclaimer, I am not usually one to want to eat at big chain restaurants when there's so many unique spots across the city, but I was running a few errands nearby and my curiosity got the best of me when I spotted the HH signage so decided I needed to at least check out the happy hour. Folks let me just say, I was super surprised to get tender meaty and flavor rich fall-off-the-bone ribs for $7 an order. I confess I ate more than one tasty order, and left extremely satisfied - jeez what a smoking (pun intended) deal!! I also ordered the $5 shoestring onions and those were delicious as well. I am knocking off a star ONLY because I got there right as shifts were changing in the kitchen apparently so food took a lot longer than I would have expected. If they can solve that problem, this would be a solid 5-star spot to enjoy happy hour. While it's only available Mon - Fri in the bar area, there's plenty of seating and the bar staff is really on top of things! I'll definitely be back. This was recommended by a friend who grew up in Chicago and still comes here whenever he's in town. We had Lilly as our waitress who was willing to let us sit outside even though we were the only ones out there. She was so fun and gave great service. I had the smoked turkey club which was stacked with turkey and came with the most delicious sauce. My husband had the classic burger, cooked to perfection with a perfect char. Such a disappointment. We were visiting from out of town and had previously been to Weber Grill Restaurant and wanted to go back. We won't again. We were initially seated in a very back room all by ourselves. It was clear that a large group had been in this room previously and everything was out of order. We were sure that we would be ignored and asked for another table (we passed about 15 empty tables / booths on the way through the restaurant). We were told that those were all dirty but we could wait for a table to come available. We agreed to wait. We ordered the wings, which were the best thing we ordered, but asked for blue cheese with the "Alabama ranch" that comes with it. We asked 2xs and never received the blue cheese. The wings themselves were good, we all agreed that we liked the char and spice on the wings. I ordered the filet prepared medium and added on the ribs. The filet wasn't seasoned well, but was prepared to a medium. It's served with a small dish of garlic mashed potatoes which were good. The ribs, however, were awful. They were overly sauced yet the meat was dry. I don't even know how that combo happens, but it was inedible. My husband ordered the ribeye prepared medium and it wasn't anything like the other reviews or pictures posted. It was grey and cooked to well-done old shoe leather. When our sever came back to the table he returned it but considering I was almost done with my filet (because cold filet isn't worth eating at all) he declined a replacement. The manager was supposed to come to the table (we didn't ask for this, our server told us that it was happening) - but he didn't arrive. They did make it right by not charging us for anything but our drinks... but by then it was 90 minutes later and we went to Eatily down the street so he could grab something for dinner while I wandered around looking at the pastas/Italian yums. read more

Being a small chain, I was not expecting it, BUT, my group really loved this place! We stopped in on Saturday, March 16th, the night of the Chicago, St. Patrick's Day parade, also right after an exhausting workday setting up our show booth. We were tired and hungry, and Weber delivered. It was crazy busy, we started with a seat at the bar, where we collectively got hydrated. It was very cozy as we only got 2 seats for our group of 4. I really liked the classic lite wood bar, which included some odd bourbon decanter where we sat. I don't remember the name of our bartender, but he was friendly and quick to get our drinks. While at the bar, we ordered the best rib appetizer, the spicy sticky ribs (Lemongrass Chili Glaze, Basil, & Sesame), they were truly finger licking good. We had a minor mishap getting seated, minus 1-star. They gave our table away because it took a minute to get cashed out. It was busy, and they had no patience. UGH. Our server was fantastic, thanks Darko from Croatia. I had the 7oz. Fiet Mignon, which was prepared to perfection. The Weber grilling process really locks in the flavor and produces a delicious finish. We had an enjoyable evening. If you drive, there is parking across the street in the structure, FYI. read more

This may have been my favorite meal during a recent weeklong visit to Chicago, and definitely beat out most of the River North/Navy Pier places we tried. The service was excellent and the ambience didn't have the stilted pretensions of elegance you can get at steakhouses in the area. Recently celebrated a birthday here in Schaumburg which was a fun birthday spot. It's worth the visit just for the unlimited pretzel rolls they bring to your table. Serving size was super big--I only finished about 65% even if I walked about 12 mi in the afternoon. I really like the smashed potato and the veggie in the entrée. In particular, they left the baked potato skin with the potato smash, which added some crispiness to it. The pork chop was, however, a bit too chewy than I expect. Some of the asparagus was too chewy as well. The service was awesome. When I complained that the table was shaking, my waiter changed it for me; also, when I asked if there was some bread before the dishes he gave me two pretzel buns for free. The staff was on nice, funny, and totally on top of things. Now, the food was what was most surprising. I got the grill master's combo and LOVED it. The pimento hot link was honestly one of the best sausages I've ever had. The wings were big, crispy, juicy, and all around perfection. The pulled pork and sides (coleslaw and baked beans) were underwhelming. The pulled pork to me was a bit dry and flavorless. Overall, it was a surprisingly good experience. We tipped 20% despite the unpleasant hospitality. Marijuana is legal to consume in Illinois and Chicago has become a hub for recreational use. The ambiance especially from the staff is very stand-off-ish, multiple comments were said that made me and my date very uncomfortable. I would rather be asked to leave than to be looked down upon. On a recent trip to Chicago with a group of our family, as we stepped off a subway our first night, we happened to see the Weber Grill Restaurant. I believe I had seen pictures of it before, but did not realize at all that it was in Chicago. As someone who has grown up in a family where every griller in the family is a pretty die hard Weber fan, I knew we had to go there! We actually had plans for another restaurant one night and rearranged so we could all go to the Weber Restaurant! I will admit, that I did not have the highest of expectations going in. I thought it would be cool, but it did not have outstanding reviews, it is a bit "commercial" with Weber Grill ornaments on the walls, and in general I don't have the highest of thoughts of most restaurants that are in hotels, which this is. Now that I have eaten there I will fully admit that I was wrong! It was one of the best meals I have eaten in a long time and all of our group agreed! We dealt with a few different waiters during our meal and all of them were very helpful and knowledgable while helping us decide what to order. We had a pretty big sampling of items and all shared a little, but everything was very good. For an appetizer I would certainly get the Crispy Brussel Spouts again, however I would probably skip the brisket egg rolls. For my meal I actually got the grilled wings and a Caesar salad. The wings were some of the best I have had in a restaurant. Crispy but not overcooked with a really good sauce and a good dipping sauce they called "Alabama ranch". Even the salad, which was not really anything special, but was really good with what tasted like homemade dressing. I also had tastes of the Asian Grilled Steak skewers, sesame steak medallions, and pork chop. All were cooked very well and tasted fantastic! I think everyone at our tables favorite side dish was the grilled Mexican street corn, however this was a special and I am not sure how often they offer it. Overall, we had a great meal, with great service, and I would say it was reasonable priced for what it was as well. Don't have the same reservations I did about the Weber Restaurant and give it a shot I don't think you will be disappointed! read more
