Walked in to rent two bikes for a first time Mtn biking experience in Bend.Very good customer service. However when my daughter asked about the rock hard seat made more for a racer road bike, the man causally said that what they have for, "floor models" after 4 hours we headed back walking 1/3 of the way, jeezus never been so in pain on my Ischium. Both of us ! When we returned the bikes a day early cause we wanted to get rid of them. They asked how it was and I said yes it was a beautiful day and a great ride but we only enjoyed half of it.. he didn't remark and we were on our way. Wouldn't come to this bike rental again unless I had my own seat with me ready to go or my own bike and I was just going for repairs. I'm gonna spend the rest of my short vacation hobbling around with bruised bones. read more

I can't begin to explain how helpful Ross has been when ordering my new bike. Unfortunately for me, street trials riding is not very popular where I live so I had to find another bike store who was a distributor for inspired bikes. Easily the best experience i have ever had shopping online. I have ordered everything from lubricants and small parts to complete bikes from these guys and their service is spectacular. Two of the times I ordered from them I quickly received an email stating that they could save me some money and still get the items to be on the quoted delivery date by changing the shipping options, and asking me if it was OK to do so. Both times I said yes. Both times I got an immediate refund for the difference in shipping and the items arrived on time. Some vendors would just go ahead and pocket the difference and never let you know they had changed the shipping. I am in from out of state for the masters cycling road national championships. When I first arrived into town I looked up local shops and found WebCyclery sponsors one of the local teams, and they have good Yelp reviews. I went in earlier in the week looking for some specific cold/wet riding gear. They didn't have what I needed but they were super helpful in suggesting where I might find what I was looking for. They proceeded to show me a website they rely on for local weather and gave me a complete tutorial on the site. A few days later I am out for a ride as a pre race tune up and my front derailleur is rubbing. I spend about an hour trying to figure it out myself. I ride into WebCyclery. They stop what they are doing and help me out. They fixed the problem and got it done in 15 minutes. Stellar shop! Excellent customer service. Knowledgable and courteous. I wish they were in my town. I hardly ever bother to write reviews but I'm just incredibly impressed with the guys over at WebCyclery.I had to leave one. I've been in a few times to check out what they had in the store and they were always friendly and helpful without being overbearing. I usually do all my own bike repair... except for wheels... and after breaking a spoke the other day I decided to give them a try. Not only was i lucky they had the oddball spoke I needed but I dropped the wheel off late on Friday afternoon and had it back Saturday morning... plus they even cleaned my cassette and gave me some pointers for doing a better job of cleaning my drivetrain. This compared to another shop that replaced a spoke on a different wheel for me and didn't even bother to make sure the bladed spoke was aligned properly. I had heard good things about them before and glad I gave them a try, definitely my go to shop in the future and the one I will recommend others to. read more

I am a local, and they are now my bike shop. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and they work with you if you have budget limits. I was happy after having major work done on my bike, and I could swear my bike was happy. I managed a busy bike repair/sales shop decades ago, so I do a lot of work on my bike myself. When I have to take it into the shop, it means its a major issue and I can only hope its repairable. They spent a fair amount of time discussing the problem and various levels of budget solutions. These folks know what they are talking about, were able to get moderately obscure parts quickly, and saved my bike with major bike mechanic skills. I've always had good experiences here, the staff is very knowledgeable and their mechanics are top-notch. They also do everything they can to get your bike back to you in a timely manner. Some will claim they're expensive, but worse-case you'll pay retail. Yes, you might be able to find parts, etc cheaper on-line and wait 5-7 business days to get them but if you're willing to pay a couple bucks more to ride sooner than later, this is the best place in town for parts and service. read more

These guys are awesome. Quality shop, great stock on parts, and friendly staff. They are also huge advocates of the local cycling scene and put on some great events (Chainbreaker XC race for one example). They also have an online store, so if no one else in town has a part you're looking for, it's always worth giving them a shot. Definitely a good spot if you're in the hunt for fat bikes, cyclocross, or trials, but they also stock a wide-variety in road, mountain, and touring. read more

I'm older, I don't ride the younger people's trails, I ride easier quieter trails. I also ride an inexpensive bike. This place treated me like I had a many thousand dollar bike. They were unfailingly courteous and supportive. Eric and the rest of the staff I talked to did an excellent and reasonably priced job on repairing my bike, plus recommending and installing better tires. Had them custom build me a gravel grinder (Salsa Carbon Warbird). I spec'd the wrong width handlebars, and just under a year later brought the bike back to them to install narrower bars. This was totally my fault in terms of wanting to go wider than what I had on my other road style bikes. I also pointed out a few issues (one wheel slightly out of true, shifting a bit wonky after I installed a smaller front ring on a 1x system). Expected to pay for the bar, wrap and labor (which I did, but I got an unexpected discount on the bar), expected them to look at the wheel for free (which they did--actually trued both wheels), and expected to pay for the shifting adjustment (which they did for free). They also tweaked a bunch of other stuff, and fixed my dangerous re-arranging of stem spacers. All of this was free, and all of this was both: explained to me in detail, and documented on my very long receipt. I also got some free suggestions, and had a great time BS'ing about a possible fat bike purchase. All delivered with a smile. I can't say enough good things about this shop--they are careful, safety-oriented, detailed, helpful, and have none of the "what, you didn't do two centuries last weekend" attitude. SWEET! read more
