Obviously they are not competent mechanics or they would have fixed this immediately. Instead they just wanted more parts business by letting him destroy his bike.

I've rented skis a few times and I've always had the employees fit the boots on me, and generally engage in a conversation about how they feel, how they should feel, etc. Here, they just left me with the boots and as a beginner skier, I would've liked to have a bit more engagement to make me feel comfortable with how they're supposed to fit. Very helpful and had great advice for us. We rented for a hour (you can rent by the hour or in block times) Wife had a flat tire about 20 min into the ride. Called the number on the map and got ahold of one of the owners. She was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience. She made arrangements and had Sevrin bring us another bike, we were several miles away. After getting the new bike we continued on and explored all over downtown and had a great time. We ended up having them for 3 hours and upon returning them we got 2 of our 3 hours comped. Thank you guys. Our whole experience was amazing and even the flat tire was good because we were able to spend that down time at Drake Park. Definitely will use when we can make it back to Bend.

Additionally they are very reliable. At the end of each year they sell the rental bikes, so each season the bikes are top notch. They have plenty of different rental options, ranging from cruisers, which are perfect for the bike paths to high-end mountain bikes. Inside, they have a store with tons of bikes and other cycling apparel. In the winter, they transition to primarily selling skiing and snowboarding gear. Due to their consistently good customer service, availability, we are returning customers. If you're in the area and are looking to rent bikes I highly recommend 4 Seasons.

Brought it in to The Hub Cyclery and after inspecting it TJ (the owner) found that the it was only the cable set screw that some how loosened after many years. All he had to do was tighten it and adjust the shifting. Great that TJ was so up front about this. I will be going here from now on for any of my bike service or needs. I thought it'd be tougher to bike around but the trails are super smooth and a calm ride. The bikes were expensive looking and rode well. Biking around to the shops and back to our rental was relaxing and fun. We kept discovering wildlife while going over the biking trails. Deer, chipmunks, woodpeckers, etc. It was all a short leisurely ride. We'd stop, the boy would look for a few minutes, then off we go. Beyond the rental, while I was in the shop people were coming and going getting things fixed, questions answered, friendly advice on parts, and buying seats or locks. The employees were genuinely nice people and I hope that they continue to be successful.

This was totally my mistake. I had set my mind up to not bike that day once I realized the error However Lara was so gracious and kind about my mistake. She immediately walked me over to the office and started trying to figure out what else we could do. She really want the extra mile and ended up coordinating bikes from the hotel, recommending a route since now we wouldn't have a guide, and offering to drive us up if we weren't able to catch the shuttle. There's no place I will rent a bike in Bend besides here thank you Cog Wild.

CW gave us an extra shuttle the first day we had shuttles booked for no extra charge to make up for the inconvenience of the snow affecting our scheduled shuttles.
