Otherwise, the employees were nice. The selection of ski stuff isn't too wide.

I thought it'd be tougher to bike around but the trails are super smooth and a calm ride. The bikes were expensive looking and rode well. Biking around to the shops and back to our rental was relaxing and fun. We kept discovering wildlife while going over the biking trails. Deer, chipmunks, woodpeckers, etc. It was all a short leisurely ride. We'd stop, the boy would look for a few minutes, then off we go. Beyond the rental, while I was in the shop people were coming and going getting things fixed, questions answered, friendly advice on parts, and buying seats or locks. The employees were genuinely nice people and I hope that they continue to be successful.

The person on the phone was very accommodating and patient. We let them know when we were planning on arriving, and they said they would make sure the store was open. Snowshoe rentals were only $15 each, and they included poles, goggles, and a balaclava. I believe the snow pants and snow boots were also only $15 each. The teal pants were SO cute. The person in the store was also very patient and helpful. There was a cute little hot cocoa station that included marshmallows, tea, Vitamin C, and apple cider packets. The only things missing were candy canes! But they made up for it with sweet treats (sugar cookies, fudge, and more). While we were there, we realized that we forgot our hand warmers. The person overheard us and gave us some for free!! What makes this place so convenient was that it was 6 minutes from our AirBnb in Sunriver AND they have a return box outside of the store if we get there after hours! I was also pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to return the rentals under the next morning at 9:00. Will definitely come back for more rental needs!

She really want the extra mile and ended up coordinating bikes from the hotel, recommending a route since now we wouldn't have a guide, and offering to drive us up if we weren't able to catch the shuttle. I luckily found another dealer on the other side of the country (Simply EV Super-Store Miami), they gave me the deal I needed. Totally, totally earned my business. I wish it would have been you Chuck who sold me my Segway GT1, specially after the first instance in which the transaction was voided. Technical errors do happen, that we agreed upon. Maybe just fate, my Segway GT1 is a dreamboat, just a fantastic drive. Chuck may or may not be able to help you, check out their stuff.

It is a great shop and they provide terrific service. They could not be more fair. John, the manager, is a great guy and he and all of their personnel know what they are doing with skis, snowboards, bikes and all related equipment. When my son's snow board binding did not work one day out of maybe 35 rentals that we have done with them over the last 5 years, there was no charge for all 3 of us who rented equipment that day. The folks at Chrome Pony want you to have a good experience and they do all that they can to make that happen for you. My daughter is getting married in Sunriver this summer and we are encouraging all of our guests to do their bike rentals through Chrome Pony. The location is really convenient to pick up and drop off equipment. It is a really terrific rental shop!

We stayed here one night on our way through town on a 10 day road trip…read more Our room was great! Very nicely kept, updated, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The furniture is very nice, the bed was very comfortable, the electric fire place kept us warm through the night and we loved the rustic feel of the entire place. Even the bathroom is nicely updated and spacious with a great shower. The lodge sits in a nice neighborhood a little off the beaten path. Town is a quick drive away if you need to stock up on anything, find a restaurant, or stores. There is a small fridge available in the rooms. There is a common area with a hot tub and a grill that can be used but we didn't check out that area so I can't give it any rating with my review. The owners of the lodge also have the MotoFantasy business at this location if you'd like to rent a motorcycle to tour around on. We got a chance to look at some of the bikes, and chat with one of the owners, but didn't have time on our trip to rent a bike. Our only complaint was how loud the noise is from others staying in the lodge. It's not that the neighboring people are intentionally being loud. The lodge itself just has a very hollow sound throughout and isn't set up to soften the noise coming from other rooms. We could clearly hear others talking, phones beeping and ringing, TV, doors opening and closing, others showering, toilets flushing and just general walking and moving around. It made for a loud evening & morning. We left pretty early due to this. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the area. It's a very nice lodge and an awesome place to check out the motorcycles. Just bring some ear plugs for a good nights sleep.

I couldn't find our check-in email so…read moreI called and Gloria, who was incredibly sweet, confirmed our stay and even texted good directions. We were met by the cleaning lady as we arrived. I didn't catch her name but she was very friendly. She asked if we needed anything after doing a quick scan of our room and even went to see if she could find decaf coffee for us. Which speaking of coffee, its a real coffee pot with real coffee! Not just the pods. Some stir sticks would be nice. Our two good sized dogs had plenty of yard to run around (we made sure to clean up after them immediately each time). The room was clean and cute. We did move the furniture around to suite us better. The chair sits in front of the couch due to it being a small room. It still worked perfect for us. We sat on the couch and used the ottoman to play cards and dice while we watched a Halloween movie. The gas fireplace in the corner was a nice touch. It was a super cozy evening! There are two adjoining doors on either side of the room if you had friends or family in other rooms. The refer is a good size for drinks and snacks. The bathroom is big with a big walk in shower. Easily fit 2 of us. It did take me several minutes of messing with all the knobs to figure out the shower. The water pressure was just OK. The temperature knob was very touchy... quickly went from warm to hot. Check in and out was super simple. I sent a text to Gloria and she was quick to respond. I am giving 5 stars, even with the minor issues, because overall it was a great stay and we will be back for sure!
