Some who aren't sports fans may not want the $150 Super Bowl hoodie at the mobile NFL merchandise store at Fisherman's Wharf and want something which says San Francisco and not to be the $10 hoodies at Hoodies a block away. Inside LOLA you will see shirts and tote bags which pays homage to San Francisco. They have more creative styles for anyone who is visiting San Francisco. You want to bring back stylish items from San Francisco as gifts and LOLA is the place to get them. Even San Francisco natives are proud to wear the items at LOLA . Some people in San Francisco don't want to look like they stepped out of a tourist trap with that with SF and cable car generic logo shirt. LOLA is a good place to shop for everyone. On this day, we were walking around the neighborhood and decided to check whether they had it in stock. While my wife walked over to check the bags, I walked around the store to see what they had. As I learned very quickly, they have many cute San Francisco-centric items that make a good choice for visitors who want to pick up a gift for family and friends at home. Some examples are tote bags (of course!), T-Shirts, pens, cups, mugs, pins, stickers, cute magnets, and many more. The store is not large, but it is well organized and clean despite being busy. The associates were smiling and eager to help. My wife was happy to learn that they had the bag she wanted, and the young lady at the counter was kind enough to get her one from the back that had not been handled by too many people. Their prices are not low, but they are not higher than one would expect for a location in one of the city's most visited areas, Pier 39.

There is also another store they own around the corner that has more items that has a separate entrance. They had some really beautiful purses that are the brand "Anna by Anushka". They are hand painted bags with different scenes. The one that caught my eye was the purse with a scene of Santorini, Greece. It was really lovely. They had a really nice variety of women's shoes and sandals. I tried on a pair of embroidered and hand painted sneakers. There were flowers and butterflies all over it. They only had two sizes left and both were too big, unfortunately. The owners were very nice and tried to find me something else that would work. I only really wanted that particular shoe. Oh well. Next time I'm in town, I will stop by again.

Things are a bit pricey but they did offer some deals. I did like the quality of their sweaters and sweatshirts. They did have a deal on their keychains. Three for $14.95. The store clerk helped me with a specific styler I was looking. Customer service was great here.

I stumbled upon Fibers of Being after a meal nearby. When I walked in, a brunette greeted me, and eventually asked if I needed any help or if I was looking for something specific. I could tell she was genuinely interested in helping me, and though I declined, it felt SO NICE and refreshing to experience that level of service again. There were some adorable shirts and jewelry pieces that were super cute. Also had some fun lifestyle items (cards). I'd say the style is more laid back and low key trendy.
