Stopped by this store because of the nice items they had displayed in their window. They sell leather goods, men and women's clothing, shoes and handbags. There is also another store they own around the corner that has more items that has a separate entrance. They had some really beautiful purses that are the brand "Anna by Anushka". They are hand painted bags with different scenes. The one that caught my eye was the purse with a scene of Santorini, Greece. It was really lovely. They had a really nice variety of women's shoes and sandals. I tried on a pair of embroidered and hand painted sneakers. There were flowers and butterflies all over it. They only had two sizes left and both were too big, unfortunately. The owners were very nice and tried to find me something else that would work. I only really wanted that particular shoe. Oh well. Next time I'm in town, I will stop by again. read more

My Asian boyfriend and I was visiting Sausalito after spending a day in San Francisco. My boyfriend said there's a very nice leather shop in Sausalito & that he wanted to see their collections as he inquisitively wanted to get a leather jacket. We knew they have good quality leathers and it's expensive but still we wanted to try some to see what we might like and purchase. We walked in and tried some of their leather jackets but ended up not buying and told the lady we will come back, she started saying, "That's the real leather and not MADE IN CHINA!" We didn't take it serious when we were in the store, but as we thanked her for showing us their stuff, she started speaking in a loud and demeaning tone. Right after we walked out of that door, we heard her saying rude things out loud which made us feel uncomfortable. We realized she was angry and the comment she made about "made in China" was extremely racist. read more

I would give this place zero stars if Yelp let me! Terrible customer service. Person working there was an older woman. My fiancé and I went in so he could try on some leather jackets. We were wondering out loud about sizing (38 was looser than a 42 for the same brand) and the woman started snapping at us defending the jacket quality. My fiancé shrugged it off and finally settled on a jacket he wanted to purchase. We were talking about it when an older gentleman walked in. She interrupted our conversation to inform us that "the store is closing so you should probably go." The older gentleman said "oh ok" and started to head out. She told him that he was fine and could stay! I don't know if she thought we were just messing around (spoiler alert - we weren't), was racist, or thought we couldn't afford it (we could). A city like San Francisco has plenty of shopping options. I'd give this one a hard pass. read more

I was walking around Sausalito after a nice brunch with my fiancé and we noticed this cute, little boutique. After a glance at all the nice wares displayed in the window, we decided to go in; that was our mistake. The minute we walked in we were greeted by an extremely cold, older woman. She did not have a face mask on and did not put one on for the duration of our visit, but it's her store so whatever. We said hi back to her and decided to meander around, looking at her goods. It is a small space, so we could feel her judgy eyes burning into our backs the entire time. She decided to remark on our appearance and threw us a few back-handed compliments. We laughed awkwardly and went along with her pretentious banter and small-talk. The whole ordeal was very uncomfortable and nauseating as she was incredibly stuck-up; we've had more down-to-earth service at the Chanel flagship store on the Rue Cambon. I was interested in purchasing a leather wallet for my fiance's father as a gift, but her attitude was so off-putting that we decided to leave hastily. The store had some nice small leather goods but the air of pretentiousness was stifling. While the store assistant did not say anything mean and attempted to service us, she came off as so judgmental that she might as well have spit in our faces. If you enjoy having a foo-foo, uptight circle-jerk while browsing, then this is the store for you! read more
