I showed him my upstairs neighbor's floors (which I liked), but he pointed out how they weren't sanded correctly and showed me where the scuffs showed through the stain. He let me know before we started that my floors might not look good if I stained them too light (due to the floors age / exposed nails). No other person that interviewed for the job bothered to mention that. He was honest, upfront, and very invested in me having a good outcome. Once the job started, Aleksey and his crew took amazing care of my floors and went through an elaborate sanding process. When it came time to choose my own stain, he patiently let me sample 9 different types before we settled on one. I changed my mind several times, and he was very nice about it. The color we landed on looks beautiful in my place, and I feel lucky that everything happened the way it did. I think I would have gotten a much less polished look if I'd hired anyone else. This time, I had two chips in my tub in SF and thought I'd give it a try myself. I bought a kit from Amazon myself and tested the color matching with the epoxy resin and thought I had it really close! I spread the stuff into the chips and let it dry for a couple days. Then I sanded it down so it was smooth - that's when I saw that the color was transparent. I tried painting it with a tub spray paint but it was way whiter than the surround. I knew I had to call Daniel to come correct my work. He's super busy (because he's so good!) but luckily he had time on a Sunday to come help me out! An hour later, my tub looks like nothing happened to it - perfectly color matched! Daniel truly is a Godsend! If you need chips repaired in your tub, don't hesitate to call Daniel. Ty and his team did a fantastic job buffing and recoating our hardwood floors for our new home. One…read morespot was water damaged, and three other floor companies told me that if we did a spot fix for the water damaged area without refinishing the entire room, then it would be really obvious where the spot fix was. Ty was the only person who told me that he felt confident they can get a 90% match to the flooring, which was good enough for us because refinishing would have delayed when we can move into the house by. Ty was also kind enough to work over the weekend to help us meet our move-in target date. They came early and finished recarpeting about 2,100 sq ft within 6 hours. Now our floors look like they're new! I also accidentally sent them a double payment without realizing, and Ty called me the next day to let me know and quickly sent me back my money. Communication with Ty was really easy over text/phone. I would recommend his team to anybody and would hire them again.
