I got an antique couch reupholstered using my own fabric. They did an amazing job. They are friendly, knowledgeable, professional. They also have lots of fabric that you can choose from from their selection. They have different foam densities. I'm just so so happy with the outcome. The nail heads, add a touch of class looking at my couch. I still can't believe that I own this. It looks like something I would see in a magazine. read more

I don't like this company's business practice of requiring that I pay upfront for an evaluation fee, even though it claims to deduct that amount if I decide to choose the company to perform the job. read more

I could not be happier with my experience with Adrian's Upholstery. They were quick and responsive, easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. Christiana was my main contact, and she was great! Once I accepted their quote, I was immediately able to make an appointment to go select a fabric. Once I chose a fabric the process was even quicker than I imagined. Reupholstering furniture is never inexpensive, but the price here was by far the best around of any place I got a quote from and the service was top notch. Additionally, they most precisely were able to determine what my chair needed and didn't over charge me for unnecessary services. Several other places estimated an additional four yards of fabric (80 percent more than Adrian's) and there was still a very small amount of fabric leftover at the end. Precision! This alone saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend and would absolutely use them again in a heartbeat! read more

I went over there and the young lady spent an hour looking at samples with me. Further, she is preparing a package of samples tailored just for me. I feel certain these are the people I want doing my living room. Now the question comes up..... are these the couches I want to live with the rest of my life? I am thinking long and hard. This is a family owned, local business. I take pride in knowing that. Yes, I will be doing business with these folks. Just a question of when. She did give me some great advice that I'll pass on. If you want to do one piece at a time, that is fine! But best to buy all the upholstery fabric at once as different bolts of fabric can come out slightly different shades. And they will store the fabric. read more

I asked for a quote to recover two counter chairs. Christiana quickly texted a price, one for using their fabric and one for bringing my own along with the yardage required. I dropped off the chairs and they were done in less time than expected. Excellent work! The chairs look exactly like when I bought them from Macys. I appreciate the location was easy to find, parking great and the quality of the work exceptional. Plus, I was able to use my own fabric. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you for good customer service and quality work that's not often found these days. read more

Adrian's Upholstery just recovered my sofa. Looking at the before pic, I can't believe I waited so long to recover it. I didn't want to throw away a sofa with good bones, so I'm glad I went with reupholstering instead of buying new. Even though I'm a little embarrassed to show the "Before" pic, I'm including it to show the transformation. I am so happy with their work. Beautiful. Excellent quality and workmanship! Everyone was friendly and easy to work with and always responded in a timely manner. I would go with them again and recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU to everyone at Adrian's Upholstery!! read more

Excellent work! I sent out quote request for my sofa to a few upholstery places. Adrian's was on the lower end of the bunch. But they were prompt and responsive to my questions. I have reached out to several (7) upholsterers via Yelp to get quotes, for clients and my own furniture line, I have been in business for over 29 years and no longer provide in-house upholsetery services as I am no longer have a brick and mortar. Adrian's was provided the same image that all the other vendors got, business hours, I had given my name and number if they could call me... then via yelp they asked again for the image, via yelp, I messaged and emailed the chair to email provided, I messaged back today confirming I could come down between 2-2:30, I just got a call, from some girl, saying today doesn't work, it is by appt only (not in the website nor was it in their message to me). She also they needed an image(again).... very, very frustrating as a business, owner to get the run around, this is a waste of my time, this is not good communication, setting expectations, nor good customer service; having clients repeatedly calling , texting emailing to try and give someone my business. Hello, When would be a convenient day for you to meet? Our office hours are: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM Let us know what works best for you. To provide a quote, we only need images of what you want the final product to look like. Thank you! read more

I found Adrian's via Yelp (and their awesome reviews) to replace the leather upholstery on our very well loved dining room chairs. The level of care, kindness, and impeccable work speaks for itself. I cannot believe how kind Adrian and his entire team were (shout out to Christiana in the office who's positive demeanor alone is reason enough to call). They did a beautiful job, and worked overtime to make sure we got them back in time for the holidays. I cannot recommend them enough if you have any upholstery needs. 10/10 fantastic! read more

Excellent service and craftsmanship. My wife and I went to Adrian's Upholstery to have a window seat cushion reupholstered for our baby nursery. We requested a quote on Yelp from several vendors. Not only did Adrian's offer the best price, but they responded promptly and personably. My wife, who was 8 months pregnant, dropped the cushion off at their shop and Ivan so kindly saw her in the driveway and helped her bring the 6 foot cushion to the shopfront. She was shown a number of fabrics and given some consultation on what to consider. We appreciate that they had a protocol in place for Covid safety as well. The job was done in the estimated 3 week time frame and we love the results. Thank you so much Adrian's! read more

A upholstery shop that can't or won't repair a chair cover. I'll say no more, you decide. Update after business reply: Then why didn't you state that in you original reply via PM? I searched all over Google, Yelp, Nextdoor. I found Adrian's on Yelp. They had excellent reviews so I inquired about a quote. I emailed photos. They gave me a quote with out fabric. I opted to buy my own fabric. I made an appointment to drop off my chair and fabric. We discussed the job. They stuck to their quote. This is something I rarely find in business's today. When I went to pick up my chair. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it turned out. I would go there again and would recommend to friends. Please see my before and after photos. read more

I meant to do this review months ago! I had a wonderful experience with Adrian's Upholstery. Everyone that I spoke with and met with were friendly, helpful, and professional. They were finished a little bit faster than originally estimated, and the work was VERY well done. I love the finished piece! The job was to recover a small pull-out sofa. I purchased the fabric myself at a store because I was looking for something specific. I had them pick up the sofa from my house, since I didn't have a way to get it to them. That option is a little expensive, I must admit. But, I'm in Marin County and they're in the East Bay, so it wasn't too surprising. Overall, amazing work. I highly recommend Adrian's! read more

I had a favorite chair which was a drab brown, so I carefully researched upholsterers. Although I live in Walnut Creek, I decided to go to Adrian's Upholstery, based on interviews. The whole experience was excellent. Christiana was extreme helpful in choosing a fabric. Her customer service was superb, following up and keeping me informed of timelines and next steps before I had to ask. The work Adrian did was flawless and on time! Beautiful work!!!! I reached out to Adrian's Upholstery last year about my chair and ottoman. I took forever finding fabric, but I wanted something neutral and stain resistant. They were very patient with me and I finally found something. They picked up my furniture and fabric and completed the work within 2 weeks. It is gorgeous. The fabric looks different colors depending on the direction and time of day. I gave specific instructions about how I wanted it to lay which was against the pattern / grain. They followed my instructions and I love the result. They replaced the padding on the arms and cushions and the chair is comfortable again. I can't stop staring at the furniture. Thanks, Adrian's Upholstery, for the great work! read more
