After striking out at Men's Warehouse came here to the big and tall DXL. Went in asked to try on black suit given ONE option. Not a single double breasted suit in the house and only one manufacturer to choose from. Another waste of time, don't bother going here either. Store shopping is pitiful now. read more

Came to purchase black jeans, they did not have the size I needed and ended ordering only one pair to make sure they will fit. I waited two weeks for the jeans and was happy to get them until I saw they sent a shirt instead, completely different item than what I had ordered, once again I went to the store and once again waited another week. The jeans came but they were slim fit they did not work. Again I had to come to the store and I was happy to find the size I needed in athletic fit in stock and after waiting for maybe 20 minutes to be helped I was told I could not return them and I had to come back another day to call customer service even though they did the mistake of sending the wrong item. I have had a really bad experience and just want to return these Jeans and never comeback to this store. I hope they can just take back their merchandise and give me a refund because this is ridiculous, Shoping should not be this difficult and stressful. May I add the cashier did not even try to help or look at a different order number I had my receipts or order number it seemed as if he did not want to deal with it. read more

I come here all the time for clothing and recently for a suit for a wedding. They knew exactly what to pick out based on what I wanted and I was so pleased with how everything came out. The suit and shirt were both excellent and they even hemmed the pants for me for a perfect fit. They have the best selection of casual wear as well and I always love going in there to see their new selections. Graphic tee and jean selection is pretty big and it's just nice to be able to have the variety they provide. They also have a more then decent sale selection as well. Love this place read more

I couldn't leave the parking lot before giving Brent a raving review. I kept to myself at first and tried on a few pair of pants. The fit was horrible (I was beginning to feel bad) and I was just about to leave the store discourages and empty handed. Brent found me holding a pair old man grandpa pants and struck up a conversation. He suggested he measure me. Then he came back with 4 pairs of pants. I tried them on and instantly the fit was more comfortable and they looked good. I bought two pair and thanked him for helping me and providing great customer Service. Thanks DXL and Update: July 1st, 2019. Walked in cause I need something to wear for a wedding. Mauricio helped me this time. I told him I didn't want to spend a lot of money so he showed me a couple of really nice $70 dress shirts Within my range. But they just didn't fit right. Too much material. Then I suggested Cubavera, which turned out to be also way too much material. Then Mauricio went to one more brand and warned it is a little more expensive. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I took it. Appreciated him trying to stay within my range. But at the end of the day, it's the way it fits and the way it makes you feel. If you are Big & Tall, this is heaven for you. The selection of clothing is massive and stylish. When I began shopping for larger sizes years ago, there were no options. I keep coming back to this store because I get the best customer service from my ladies there. Today Mary helped me out and I was thrilled to see she moved to the new location form the store I used to go to. This new one is so much bigger and nicer. As always I find more than I can budget, but still leave with a fat bag. And the styles here rock. Ya can't escape the prices, but you look good in chill mode. It is now Christmas Eve Dec 24 2021 and we have not gotten our pant in the mail . We called it but they seems want to hang up on us .. Get all the way to the register to pay with my Apple Pay.. not says Samsung Pay only. I literally waisted an hour here to walk out the door with nothing. I always have such great experiences at DXL, no matter the coast! I've come to this location a few times over the past couple of years (whenever I travel to visit the in laws, I always forget something) and the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was hoping to pick up a vest for a suit for a wedding and the employee went above and beyond to make sure that the fit was right etc. When it was realized that this location did not have the size I required, he called several stores in the area to see if they had it in stock. The store was busy but the employee stayed with me and made sure that I was helped before he went off to help others. I really liked that. Highly recommended! Great customer service! read more

Went in to find slacks for my husband. Searched through all the racks and didn't really know what we were looking for. You would think it'd be easy but my husband hates wearing pants. Cargo shorts are always his go to. Jesse helped us the whole time and found the pants that fit my husband wonderfully. If you buy a pair of shoes from this store after reading this, you have to have a hole in your head. I paid $275, almost $300 with tax, for these shoes A little more than a year ago. They were advertised as fine leather shoes made in Italy. Look at the pictures. I didn't know there was an Italy in China. Turns out the shoes were not leather at all but vinyl. Cracking everywhere and peeling. Not to mention the soles coming off. What a friggin joke. My guess is they bought the shoes at Payless and added $250 to the price. Way to go DXL. You got me. The "buyers" for this store are scandalous and Straight up liars. I hope someone reads this and saves themselves three to $400. When I brought this to the managers attention at the counter he wasn't surprised at all which leads me to believe this happens all the time. He also knows it to be a fact that the shoes they sell here are substandard and should never have been sold in the first place. read more

This place is so nice & super friendly. A good selection of high end and more affordable brands. The sales help keep costs down but definitely not a low budget shop. We were there what seemed like forever picking out swim shorts and browsing shirts. My husband isn't much of a shopper and is painfully slow trying stuff on lol but we were never rushed. And Martha put together for me an ensemble that did not break my bank account: With tax and a rush-job on the alterations, I managed to get out of there with a new suit, tie, shirt, and shoes for less than $600! To make a long story short, day one of vacationing in San Francisco and the zipper in my jacket broke and it's cold. Tried JcPenny...waist of time, tried Sears overpriced nothing fit and service folks rude. Yelped DXL and thankfully a store was a blocks away. Not impressed. The sales manager tried to sell me a suit that was not the right size, the tailor then personally went through the store to find the perfect suit and ordered another one in my size. I ended up buying two suits for over $1,600 and the sales manager was not willing to wave the alteration charges. The sales manager was also not very enthusiastic or even helpful or even interested in selling anything to me, the tailor on the other side was fantastic. I have two new suites thanks to his knowledge. I will not go back to this store. read more
