This coffee shop was a welcomed find in the neighborhood. I especially appreciate the parking space availability on the strip! I ordered an Americano (cat & cowboy roast). It was a clean tasting Americano, just how I like it! I look forward to returning to try whatever is available on the seasonal menu.

Dine in service in paper cups, a little strange but the product was great.

I visited this location while I was in the area, after having visited the other location a few months ago, It's not as roomy, but it does still have a nice coffee shop vibe. I wanted to grab an espresso, and maybe get some beans. After a brief chat with the barista, I received my order.. in a paper cup. I guess there's nothing wrong with that; the shot tasted great and came with a bit of sparkling water, also in a paper cup, but I guess I'd just assume that a "dine in" order would be fulfilled in porcelain. Still, it was a tasty and fruity shot, and I wandered over to the bags. Looking at the offerings, I selected one from a roaster called Obadiah, based in the UK. I had never heard of them, but a quick web search suggested they put out some quality goods, and after getting them home, they definitely were quite tasty. A good, light roast with lots of fruity goodness. This was just a quick visit, but the shop is nice, the staff was welcoming, and the spro was great!

ONE & ONE -- A split shot, one with steamed milk and one without.

OVERALL A cozy, nature-inspired spot with truly solid espresso drinks. Definitely one of the better *real* coffee shops in Dallas! SERVICE Parked in the front and came in on early morning. We waited behind a couple of people but the line moved quite quickly and the staff noticed we were eyeing the brand, and immediately offered to answer any queries we had. AMBIANCE Ample seating arrangements with wooden-backed booths, high top window seating, and general dining area for 2-4 individuals with soft pop playing, hanging potted plants, light conversational buzz, and inspiring quotes. FOOD/DRINK We ordered the daily drip and a 1&1 which featured the Ethiopia (with lovely fruity blueberry notes) "split shot, one with steamed milk and one without." We enjoyed this and were pleasantly surprised given the other unsatisfactory espresso we've been trying based on recommendations around Dallas.

This place is SO CUTE. I wanted to visit the neighborhood and this was the first coffee shop to pop up. Clean aesthetic, simple menu, plenty of seating. My kinda place. They had a couple good syrup options for those of us that like a little flavor, and a fantastic chai as well. If I lived here, this would be my spot. Very tasty.

I attended an event and fell in love with this place! I don't drink coffee, but I did get a Matcha drink with almond milk and it was delicious. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere is so lite and airy. the conference room was an added bonus because we were able to talk and laugh as loud as we want without interrupting those who are there studying or working. I definitely recommend this place for small business meetings or a relax work environment.

I got a London fog latte and loved it! I've been on a big tea latte kick lately and have found a lot of places making them too sweet however the barista did a very good job. My drink came out quickly and I was able to find a seat during a busy time. They have plugs under most of the seats too which is so convenient. I was finally able to get a significant amount of work done so while it is a little noisy in here, it wasn't chaotic enough to distract me. I will be back.

Wayward coffee co is a solid place to get some work done. However seating isn't super comfy and outlets and limited. I though the staff was very minimal, not a lot of friendliness but more of getting the job done type service. Coffee was great and it does what it needs to do.

Loved their lighthouse latte the first time I visited for the charcoal taste and aesthetic Love the vibes of this place with wooden booths Free curbside parking although it is a bit scant 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 because of the - overall scarcity of outlets for studying purposes - maple brown sugar latte was ok

Great first time visiting this coffee shop! The coffee was great and so was the service. I told them I hadn't been in before and the guy kinda talked me through their drink menu. I think got something called the golden hour...or rush...something with the word gold in it lol. Anyways, I ordered it with oat milk and it was so good! Love the location of this shop too. There's street parking nearby but with all of the small businesses around, don't be surprised if you have to park up the street and walk during the busier hours of the day. We went around 10ish AM and it was still busier than I anticipated. Which is great for them! Love that they're getting such great business! Wayward has great esthetic btw and with lots of different seating options. We got lucky that their comfy couch was available so my daughter and I snagged that. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend!

They're also wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The food was lovely, and each tea pairing complemented it perfectly. The service was thoughtful too. During our reservation we were the only table for tea. The staff were preparing for a private event later in the day. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Everyone we talked to was absolutely lovely. The restaurant itself was very cute and elegantly decorated. I have zero complaints about either of those things. The service and atmosphere were top notch. The problem was the food and the tea. For the tea, the loose tea was steeped in the tea strainers set over the cups and did not arrive brewed in the pot. Our server poured hot water over the tea at the table and set a timer, then when time was up we lifted the steeped tea leaves ourselves. I do not prefer this method of making tea, it means each cup needs to be individually steeped which is annoying and time consuming, and each cup is weaker than the one before it. You also do not get to select your tea - they offer two teas - one for each part of the experience and each had sweet fruity element that might not be to everyone's taste. As for the food, I was excited to try the chef driven offerings, but I was left very disappointed. To start we got a cup of autumn broth and what they called a scone. It was two very thin layers of somewhat biscuit like bread filled with apple butter and apple slices and was topped with torched cheddar. This was OK, but not what I would consider as a scone course, and it arrived first, not after the savory course. Next, we were served a kale and pumpkin puree salad with quinoa and feta with a granola on top. This was tasty, but an odd paring with the sweeter flavors of the tea they paired with it. From here, things took a left turn. I can't be sure, but many of the items we were served felt a bit stale or dry as if they were prepared the day before. One item - a foccacia with pumpkin hummus - was so dry I couldn't finish it. Other items - the pear and gruyere tart and a small pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting - were very tough and unpleasant to eat. There was no actual sandwiches, just the foccacia with hummus, a dry cornbread wedge with butter, and the pear and cheese tart on the tea stand. To finish, we were served a creme brulee that was overcooked and grainy. The flavor was delicious, but the split texture of the custard made it unpleasant to eat. Overall, I saw the chefs vision for the fall themed tea, but the execution was poorly done. Perhaps it was a bad day, considering they were preparing for the private event, but for the price paid I won't return.

I sat down and played a game on my phone while the associate made my drink. She brought me an Iced Latte. No Problem. It happens. Let her know that I ordered a hot latte. She came back a few minutes later with a hot beverage. It tasted weird so when I opened up the lid, I saw that there was no foamed milk. No milk at all. I went to the bar it quietly let her know that that wasn't what I ordered and that I was just going to leave She gave a Long stern look. I asked her if there was something wrong because she was looking at me like I was crazy Her response was "I've already made you two drinks and if you're gonna go then get out of here." "A manager would have made you pay" I order coffee beverages all the time if it's not made correctly that's fine no big deal. But she berated me in a loud voice so everyone in the café/bar could hear. She made some kind of grunting noise as I left. The entire time I was being polite, nice and just wanted latte. I do not enjoy being treated so disrespectfully when I did absolutely nothing wrong within the situation.
