Spinach Omelette with Bacon is the best omelette I've ever had!

Great food, attentive staff, affordable prices. Can't ask for more! Spinach Omelette with feta cheese is amazing! Summer Chilaquiles... a definite Yes! Full of flavor!

Was looking for a good brunch spot and had been wanting to try cafe Brazil so figured why not. While the food was delicious from the brunch tacos which they use real cotija cheese in to the banana bread French toast to the mimosa with blood orange juice, the service was lackluster. We had to ask our waitresss numerous times for straws, if there was a cake in the back to purchase etc. we asked so many times that eventually we asked a different tables waitress and she helped us out. If not for that the experience would have been great. They also offer a large assortment of spots to sit inside and outside

CHICKEN, BACON & WAFFLES

First time going here for breakfast. I ordered the Cholula spicy Chicken, Bacon and Waffle. Food wasn't really spicy but good flavor. Service was slow but it was kinda busy on a Sunday afternoon. Bottomless coffee was a nice addition. Got to try several different types of coffee while waiting on food.

I've been here before and brought folks here and thought I had left a previous review so I'm taking that into consideration with this review. First let me start off by saying that they are understaffed and it's HURTING then badly!!! We visited on a Monday morning and there were two waitresses who also doubled as hostess. When you walk in, there is a sign stating to wait to be seated and they do not seat incomplete parties. We were seated quickly, reviewed the menu and then waited for someone to come take our order. And the wait began. A lady walked by and I asked her can we order and she proceeded to take out order. And then there was more waiting. Eventually our food made it to the table and although it looked good, the taste was not anything to write home about. The crepe I ordered was bland, the banana were over ripped, the cinnamon bananas were under ripe. She totally forgot the juice which worked in my favor as she put it in a to go cup as we were done eating by the time she brought it. The French toast was covered in fruits but the bread itself didn't look like it has been soaked in any type of custard. I asked for crispy bacon however this was where bacon starts to have that dusty burnt taste. The saving grace was the frozen hot chocolate which was seriously good but as I came to eat and not just drink my meal, this visit was far from my previous visit. They need HELP!!!

One of my favorite places as a high schooler, perfect to study or hang out with friends and the food is great!

Coffee and desert
Guy H.

We had dined earlier and were in another part of town doing a few things when the coffee/desert bug hit. So I pulled into a place I knew was solid for deserts and coffee(not at this location but in general). Unfortunately, there was one guy handling the entire dining room by himself!!!! So, I'm going easy on the review and I will say, He had an awesome attitude about working the entire front end by himself. Hopefully, he gets some help soon because I love the brand and don't want to see them suffer. this was my first trip to this location but I've never had a problem with the others. go with lowered expectations.

Rosemary potatoes are truly delicious :D

Don't think this will make my list of repeat visits. I was not greeted upon arrival. I wanted for some one to stop by to say sorry for the wait at the hostess desk but no one did so. The sign on the front read wait to be seated. Would you return? It was not a full restaurant inside or in the patio. It was only 3 tables with diners inside and one family of 6 on the front patio. Rosemary potatoes and Coffee were good. Period. Other locations are much better. I should have listened to other Yelpers.... take your dollars where they are appreciated. And, by the way, someone keeps an eye out for unexpected persons to park their vehicle in their parking lot and go enjoy the day at Bishop Arts other fine eateries and shops to have cars towed. Do not park here if you are not eating at Cafe Brazil or working out at the fitness center next door.

My go-to spot for brunch! The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Also, they have an amazing coffee selection.

Chipotle Steak and Eggs
Brandi B.

Randomly went here for dinner, we were sat immediately because it was empty. Ordered the chipotle steak and eggs. The steak was very flavorful along with the eggs. However the potatoes were very undercooked, I had to force my fork into them and was only able to eat 2 because I just couldn't take it. The diner itself is a tad bit underwhelming, the booths had holes in them so I definitely think it's time for an upgrade.

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.

Located in the Bishop Arts District, this donut shop provides a modern look with some of the best delicious one-of-a-kind donuts that you will ever try. Let's break down the food that I had there shall we? Horchata Donut - probably one of the best I've ever had, very flavorful and delicious! Traditional Glazed - can't go wrong with a classic, moist and wonderful to eat! Terry Blacks BBQ Brisket and Cheddar Kolache - wowee what a partnership and it was so delicious! Vanilla Bean Latte - great flavor, lover of lattes, gotta grab a coffee, what a great choice to complement! The bathroom is clean and the self serving water is aplenty. Now for the food - Brisket kolache is great, I will always get this again. Horchata donut has a layer of cream inside which I like. It's more yeast like, which I prefer in a donut. New banana coffee donut was interesting, I really liked the crumby part outside but wish the coffee flavor stood out more. Vanilla drink with whole milk - the vanilla shots were strong and should've done oat milk instead. That would make it taste much better Overall, great experience and love the new flavors they experiment with! My thoughts - in the more yeasty-donuts, add a layer of filling inside!
